Find Hotels in Hai Duong Province, Vietnam

At the point of my travel, Nam Cuong is the only 4 stars hotel available in Hai Duong. Not the best value for money since I'll expect more from a 4 stars hotel, but I guess since it's the only 4 stars hotel in Hai Duong so we have no choice (we were looking for some quality place to stay for our layover in our honeymoon trip). Room is nice and clean but not anything special in its room design. The rest is good such as good food variety for breakfast and nice outside swimming pool.

I would say this hotel is at the higher end of the scale for a 3 star, compared to what you'd expect to see in Hanoi. It is well maintained and generally quite clean. Carpets are pleasant for the cold season, but take more effort to maintain (stains can be seen in the carpet so it's probably never washed). When I checked in, receptionist couldn't find my booking (probably not trained to deal with agoda bookings), but it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was average, but fresh and tasty, even if not very appealing overall. Receptionist at checkout was very courteous and made the effort to ask if our stay was pleasant.

We slept really badly at this hotel. First, let me say that the staff were amazingly helpful, the room looked very plush and the facilities great. It was also nice and clean. I dont know if power cuts are frequent in this area but the backup generator prevented this affecting us hardly at all. I only have one complaint but it ruined our night: the mattress is covered in plastic. On closer inspection in the morning it seemed to have been left in the thick plastic zip up protector that it came in before being covered with a sheet and bedding. I can see their thinking in terms of keeping it clean bt my god did it make a racket every time one of us moved. The result was that neither of us slept well AT ALL and woke grumpy and pissed off. We're it not for that one thing I would rate this a 3 if not 4 star accommodation. Please Lotus, remove the plastic!!

I have stayed here a few times and the owners have always been very friendly. I can not speak much vietnamese but we just use google translate. They even going to the trouble of ordering pizza for me and bringing it to my room. I often stay here and they will always offer you some tea in the afternoon if you are passing though reception. They gave me an umbrella one day to head out because it was raining and just have a genuine care for the comfort of their guests. I would like to see some food options on a in room menu and maybe a safe for the important papers but I think that they normally don't have a lot of long term guests and I stayed their for 23 days last time. It is no problem because I always felt safe and their is lots of food places a short walk away. Thanks again and Kind Regards Peter from Australia

This is my 1st time experience such scary happening. Well my room was locked and i was inside the room but unfortunately later in the morning it was unlock by stranger which i dont know who did that . I can hear the door scanning signal which somebody trying to unlock it. (either receiptionist staff or cleaning staff) Trip to traveler who decide to stay in this hotel. Please be aware that your room might be unlock and open by unathourise stranger. Stay whole time at room and lock your door!
