Great for a privacy stay where you can also bring your car inside a gated and secured location. Expect to have a muddy entrance before you get in to the area. The location is near a crowded center in bankal.

Just 2 rides away from mactan shrine and mactan newtown Far from other tourist destinations. However. Grab is operating in the island so transportation is not a problem.

I got an excellent deal on two of the superior rooms. One didn't have hot water but transfer to a different room solved that. Great, actual hot water! The road outside the apartell forms a great puddle with light rain and it rains a lot. You can go the opposite direction through a Warren of houses and reach a street that isn't under water. About the mattresses in 3 rooms tried. I weigh 100 kilos, 220Lbs and have a bad back. When I lay on the foam mattress normally, when I got up it would leave a trench that would last for at least 20 minutes. I took to sleeping across the foot of the bed with my feet on a chair because that part of the foam had not broken down yet. My assistants, age 25 who tried two different rooms (because of the hot water issue, which was quickly remedied) only weigh 60-65 kilos and they were having back problems where they had none before. Nice people at the Red Doors apartelle but because of the beds, I couldn't recommend for more than a single night.

Clean cheap hotel”

Booked this hotel for one night as morning flight and hotel web site said complimentary shuttle to airport. No!!! Staff in reception said don't know anything about it. Location is close to the airport as stated, but it's close to the back of the airport 7km from entrance, in a back street nowhere near any malls, shops or restaurants. Due to location you can not get a tricycle to the airport, taxis do not pass often so only way to get to airport is Grab cab which will take about 30min due to traffic. Rooms are clean, good size and quiet. You have to plug the fridge in on arrival so not good if only there one night and want cold fridge. Bathroom is great size, clean but shower head is blocked most holes so really poor but just needs a clean. The double bed is the smallest ive ever seen on all my travels. Being average height of 6ft my feet hang over the bed and you need to be touching not to fall off the sides. Basically it's a double bed for a child. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Dogs barking all through the night. Kids playing in lobby til 12a.m. when it rains the whole street and into the alley you have to walk down to the hotel is flooded to your ankles. Mud and sewer water. Staff never at desk. They have bell at desk that sometimes the will come. They also have a phone number posted by the desk to call them,but if you dont have philippines phone you cant call. And they dont answer all the time when you call. Wall in shower had soap scum built up for a long time. Maybe a year.

The garden needs some flowers. It would be welcome if guests could prepare coffee or tea or noodles. The air conditioning unit sounds as though an aircraft was flying low overhead. The unit needs to be replaced.

not ideal for long term, why? coz as per.staff they are not allowed to clean ur room while ur on stay. so if u want a clean room book daily and let u shift to other room or else ur the one will clean ur own room.

yes its budget friendly but the way going inside the location of apartelle is horrible. when its rains u will passed the dirty water. the room is not so clean i spend almost 1mo and shifted in 4 rooms and all are not clean well. faucet are tarnish. shower is very slow. aircon is so noisy. and u will see web in the room
