Excellent Experience”

I stayed at Red Planet Davao for 2 weeks while visiting with a friend over Christmas. The rooms and hotel are really clean, the staff very friendly, and easy to get responses to requests and queries. The bed was extremely comfy, and the air con and fan definitely did the job. I would highly recommend Red Planet Davao to visitors to this city.

Excellent overnight stay”

Our stay at Red Planet Davao (formerly Tune Hotels) was excellent. We stayed overnight only but experienced good service. We checked in late, around 11:30PM and we were allowed to check out the next day at 2:00 PM free of charge (this is because our rooms were still vacant at the time). The hotel staff was accommodating and our bags were even brought up to our rooms. The rooms and their respective bathrooms were all very clean. Television has cable. Aircondition was working properly. We did not avail of the breakfast as we wanted to eat out. The hotel is good for both long and short stay. Good job Red Planet. Keep up the good work! :)

convenient stay”

Always felt good staying at Red Panet Davao. Food, leisure establishments are nearby. My only complain, which is very rare, is that I find that when I return to my room around mid-afternoon after meetings with colleagues, the room hadn't been cleaned yet. This has happened a couple of times in my recent stay. I hate complaining because there's hardly anything to complain RE service at Red Planet Davao but it adds unneeded stress.

Great Hotel & Service”

This was my second time staying at this hotel due to its location being close to the airport and the cleanliness of the rooms. It's a no frills hotel but very adequate for my needs. The SM Lanang Mall is within walking distance and not too far from downtown Davao. The hotel staff is always accommodating and sincere. Overall, great customer service and a clean and inviting place to stay. The bed was comfortable, which allowed for a great night's sleep. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again . Thanks Red Planet for a great stay!

Security plus functionality”

Normally I would regret heeding someone else' recommendation but this time I definitely did not regret it and am very thankful that I booked into Red Planet Davao. I felt very secured with the security functions that were in place. And yes, I will definitely book in this hotel again in my future travels into Davao. Thank you!

Noise”

What I like about staying in Red Planet is that their beds are so soft compared to the other hotels i’ve stayed in Davao. Room is always clean. Wifi is fast. Downside when staying in Red Planet though? Paper thin walls! Literally you could hear everything outside. One night, i heard loud moaning sounds coming from another room. You could also hear cars from the street. I could go on and on. So anyway, if you’re a light sleeper then it’s better not to stay here.

A Room to Refresh”

I booked my stay around Kadayawan Festival Week. Extremely busy but I booked it ahead so it was a very good value for my money. Myself and my 2 teenage children shared the room although it was extremely small for 3 of us, yet we managed to organize our stuff around the room. Easier after staying in a much smaller room in Singapore. Beds and linens are in best form. Air conditioning system is excellent. Shower and toilet facilities are fully functional. No problem with plumbing system, as seen in most older hotels in Davao. The place is convenient for us with families living around the area. Easy exits Via Damosa-Buhangin-Airport Route and via Dumanlas if you want to avoid the traffic in J.P. Laureal Ave to go to downtown area. Family and friends enjoyed the Pthoto session in the lobby. Great to meet up and go and explore. Pleasant breakfast restaurant downstairs which could get too busy and have to wait a while to get a seat. Robinson's grocery shop next door was handy to pick up drinks and snacks, salad and fruit. Short taxi ride to SM Lanang, to Samal Island pump boat terminal, jeepneys to Abreeza and downtown. Will consider to stay in this hotel every time I come home to Davao. I have read previous reviews so I know what to expect from this property.

Home away from home”

Always our first option when we travel back to Davao City. Great location- just along the highway, with parking space but a 1st come basis. Big plus- its comfortable bed! (Unlimited “ligid ligid”) 🤣 and its rain like shower! Only missing- No convenience store below, as compared to other Red planet branches. Staffs were accommodating, especially the sec. guards downstairs at the parking area 👍

Exceptional”

This is my 3rd time to check into a Red Planet Hotel. Already been to the Cebu and Cagayan de Oro branches. Third time here in Davao. I have no complaints but the bathroom smelled like the sewer. It was on the 8th floor. Otherwise would still choose Red Planet again for future bookings.

Fine budget choice”

Red Planet anywhere is more or less synonumum for cheap, clean budget accomodation and Davao one is not an exception. Room is small but equipped with everything you need including a deposity safebox and very comfy bed. Fast free interent is available and TV has plenty of channels. The location is kinda off the centre but there is a huge shopping mall nearby.

Davao Red Planet, Best Red Planet Hotel”

This was the best of the Red Planet Hotels that I have stayed in. And I have stayed in many of their hotels. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The building was very orderly and clean and I loved the towels. The room and everything in it, like bed, TV were new and well kept. I loved my stay there and very highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Davao. Thanks Red Planet, Davao!!!

Reliable as always”

I have stayed in Red Planet Hotel in Manila, which is why i chose this hotel in Davao. The staff is very accomodating and nice. The rooms are clean and the space is just nice for 2-person who are just looking for a place to sleep in. The location is great also, you can just go out and hail a taxi or ride a jeep.

I was totally expected that everything goes ok.But Unexpectedly ,was so bad in my room inside .How could you be in the room without free complementary water which I book online a standard room.They should provide a water for there guest .People have a good reviews there online but I don't think so if you can have a good comment below if you could stay there.I have no reason to go back In Red Planet in Cagayan .Also I book online in Red Planet in Davao .I had not once bad experience but twice .In Davao Red planet ,is still same.No water no Telephone they're just hanging in the hall-way and also the Shampoo ,conditioner and shower they mix it up in one .Ive never meet that kind of stuff before ,Isn't wierd right!. I couldn't imagine they have a good ratings but when I go there was not so right of what I expect for .Forgive me but I just express my feelings as a normal guest who check in there and I am not so happy during my stay .Bed is ok but the area in the room is too small .

A excellent value hotel”

My 2nd stay at this hotel, I returned due to the excellent service and value for money. The hotel is basic but has all the necessary requirements i need. My biggest like was the value for money the hotel represents. I purchased breakfast down stairs at the cafe which also was great. Filipino plated breakfast, from memory 5 choices, included a hot beverage. Good Job by the Red Planet team Davao, thanks again.

Best value hotel”

Kaye was so helpful and patient in checking us in considering that we didn't have the proper documentation with us then. She noted that the internet connection was slow at the time we checked but it was still faster than that of the 4 star hotel we came from. We transferred for the 4 star hotel to Red Planet and still enjoyed our stay. It has cleaner common areas and facilities, toiletries provided, very clean rooms and toilets. Red Planet is perfectly situated, right between SM Mall Lanang and Abreeza Mall, near to all restaurants and fast food places along JP Laurel. If you are looking for a best hotel for the right budget, then Red Planet is the place. Paul Australia

Value for money”

Room is small, tiny. No fridge, no coffeemaker, no electric kettles. However, bed is very comfy, AC is super cold and shower is strong. I have the best rest in this hotel during my stay in PI. I will definitely go back to Red Planet hotel next time I visit Davao.
