Just Perfect for what we needed!”

we enjoyed our stay, Rayong resort turned out to be exactly as it appears in the internet - pictures are not exaggerated. we loved it. It quiet, there are not too much people at the beach so private and the swimming pools are wonderful esp for kids! staff was good and yes dinner was great - whatever we ordered was cooked well and the barbeque sea food even much better. we liked our room, we liked the blueberry desert cake, we loved the juice and we spent all day in the water jus shifting from the beach to the pool. Boat took us took us to Koh samet - saikiev beach and yes the Rayong resort is the best choice. sai kiev was extremely busy for us and just not friendly in a way.

Great hotel, beautiful location, great staff”

We spent many times our short holidays here, also with Christmas, which was always great with special diners, Santa Claus, Christmas decorations etc. And fully booked! However this year only a few guests, no Christmas party, the hotel was almost empty. For us it was no problem because we prefer to be private and enjoy the scenery and the quiet atmosphere. Rayong Resort has the most beautiful scenery and great view. We booked a de luxe room with seaview, and the view was stunning, with a great view on Koh Samed Island. We enjoyed our stay, which was already for the 5th time. However, the restaurant never changed the menu in 8 years, and becomes more expensive every year. When you stay here, you absolutely need a car, because the hotel is “in the middle of nowhere”.

My dream hotel in Rayong”

This is my third time staying here. I am in love with this hotel. The service provided is topnotch, a breathtaking seaview from you room to die for, a quiet and serene atmosphere perfect for any honeymooners, fast and free internet... the list goes on. Minor gripe is the lack of good tv channels and the toilet flush in my room was very loud.... it will wake up your partner in the middle of the night if you flushes. Also, if you love fishing... this hotel is paradise indeed and provides the perfect pier for you to fish, day and night. We went to Koh Samet on a day trip and we hated it...noisy, over-crowded, over-rated beach. It was a big relief to come back to Rayong Resort. For inner peace, do stay here.

Second Time as good as the first!”

We went back to this wonderful retreat as we were so charmed the first time around and it did not disappoint. Rayong itself is quite a charmless town but hidden in this town is this treasured hotel retreat. You feel as if you were transported to a different world, different time. An oasis of calm and peace and a place we will go back often. In fact, we are already planning to return again during X'mas!

Rayong Resort”

Overall our stay at Rayong Resort was great, the location is perfect in a kind of "cove" away from the rest of Rayong with a private beach and 3 large swimming pools making for a peaceful, relaxing time which is exactly what we were looking for. Service was OK, however as I mentioned the only real negative I can put on Rayong Resort are the food/drink prices. They are higher than most places and also subject to 10% service charge and 7% VAT, as a rule I do not pay much attention to food prices but 65baht for a 5 baht bottle of soda seemed a little extreme. I noticed most people venturing outside to eat which is a nice way to spend an evening at one of the main beaches where you can find lots of places to eat right on the sea shore. Overall a great time and I would recommend Rayong Resort for those people looking to "chill out" for a weekend. Apart from the food

Great , great Location! Lovely place”

We originally booked into a different hotel in the Rayong area and we were finding it hard to find nice places for food and entertainment. We ended up finding this hotel after driving around on our scooter for the day and decided to check in. The other reviews don't do this place justice, the food was great, the location perfect. Our only regret was that we didnt book in here first!

Best Location with good service”

I've stayed at this Rayong hotel for many times since I was very young. I love the atmosphere. The location is just the best and the staff are lovely and service-minded. The price is definitely a bit too high, would only be there when there's promotion :)

It was a very wonderful and relaxing stay. I have returned again and again and for good reasons too. For a perfect peace of mind and a truly calm and enjoyable hotel resort stay in Rayong, this is and will be my first and only choice. Kudos again to all the staff. Relaxation atmosphere”

we have been stayed in Rayong resort many times and it's always nice and fun. This place is good for a family, couples but not for single. You can enjoy and relax inside the resort, try spa and beach is ahead. If you prefer a drink, the bar next to lobby is not bad for a drink or even karaoke. But if you prefer to do sight seeing or visit the city. It will take only short time to walk around the city. It's not much to see as it's a small town but there are many nice seafood restaurant around.

Very unexpected view in Rayong. Just Beautiful and quiet. The rooms were not are Luxury as we expected, but it was clean and i would consider it a very good 3.5 star room, not 4 star. but the view and resort grounds is at least 4star if not more. I like that not so many people was there. secluded secret place in rayong. I've stayed at a couple places in Rayong already, this is #1 for view and scenery.

The best place to stay in Rayong for a relaxing family trip. You can do lots of activities here; private beach, swimming pool ,free kayaking, great fishing place and lovely staff!

Exceptional”

I was so impressed when driving up to this resort, it’s generous size and multiple pools were visible from the mountain drive down. The resort sits on a small peninsular giving it all around sea view. The lobby and entrance were immaculate and well designed. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and even gave us breadsticks which we loved! I came here with my friend- were both teachers in BKK and wanted a chilled weekend away from the city- this resort provided just that. The room view was just beautiful, beds clean and comfy, shower hot and satisfying. The only thing I would say is that the pool furniture was a bit old and could do with being replaced- old wood, shabby sun bed cushions. The spa was also amazing and had some great scented oils! Overall, I really enjoyed this stay and can’t wait to come back again 🤗

Pleasant Stay”

Stayed at the Rayong Resort for one night, arriving late and leaving early the next morning for Koh Samed. It was a nice stopover; wish we had more time to explore the grounds and relax. The hotel is isolated and is a distance from any services (other than those supplied by the hotel). There was a nice view of the water from the balcony in our room. The rooms are a little dated, but we had no issues and were comfortable. We ordered room service for dinner and the fish in the fish and chips were surprisingly tasty. The breakfast buffet was not fancy or comprehensive, but somehow tasted better than the breakfast buffet at the night hotel we have been staying at in Bangkok.

A nice weekend getaway”

We like going to the Rayong Resort because of the wonderful pools. There are three of them, so you never feel crowded in the pool (even when the hotel itself is crowded). The beach is nice, though the water is a little rocky. It still is a fantastic weekend getaway for families with young kids (living in Bangkok). Also, the breakfast buffet is pretty good. Much better than many we have been to. I also really like the lay-out of the hotel. There is a lot of open space, that other businesses would fill up. I like the empty rolling hills. And the jogging path is nice too.

Rayong Resort”

We stayed at the Junior Suite room and I thought the room was great. It was on the top floor of the 7-floor building, so the view of the sea was excellent, although the decoration of the room is a little bit old. What we really liked was that there's a large area you could walk around, and along the sea-side it's really romantic if you come a long with your girlfriend. Overall we would return back to this hotel if we were to visit Rayong again.

it’s a nice hotel in Rayong and it’s probably one of the better one’s in the area. The hotel is ideally set and it looks like an oasis by the sea. The only things that sets back are 1. The Noise. The noise of the rooms next door to ours. You can hear people having showers and also going to the toilet in next room. And the balcony we had two very noisy fellow travellers shouting on their mobile phones. 2. The Hills. The other negative is it is sitting at the bottom of a hill and the inclines are very steep, not ideal for anyone over 65 or with any leg problems. (Fortunately I am young and reasonably fit) The views coming into the problem are amazing though! The food is nice in the hotel, but expensive for what you get. The rooms are nice but a bit dated.

Excellent hotel and quiet location with good swimming options both pools and clear water beach. Food was fresh and tasty particularly the seafood but a bit overpriced. Drink was extremely expensive for the area. Hotel is isolated if you do not have your own transport. However hotel do organise a taxi service or car with driver for hire to visit local sights. This is a luxury resort hotel and prices reflect this. Would highly recommend for a luxury 2 night treat.

Relaxing stop over on the way to Koh Samed”

The hotel is located on a peninsula near a national park. It is surrounded by forest and beaches. One can walk through the park (which has a very nice and very cheap camping site near the beach - the national park rent tents for those not equipped) to Rayong beach (20 minutes walk, be sure to bring your hotel keys to avoid paying the national park entrance fee on your way back). The hotel is peaceful. Ideal for family with children. The kids have plenty of ground to run around and play. The hotel beach is very nice and quite empty. The large garden is relaxing. The buildings are old and not maintained as they should be. The rooms are old. Definitely need improvement to correspond to the price charged.
