the hidden gem...”
This hotel will definitely be remembered for the service and the location. truly loctated within the heart of Ho Chi Minh, away from all the typical tourist driven business were the local street vendors and side store. This hotel is really a hidden gem in Vietnam. a short stroll down the street on both sides brought one to bakeries, patisseries, noodle bars and clothing outlets. everything that made the stay even more rememberable. the staff on hand were extremely helpful and welcoming, and attempted to fulfill all our request. the hotel itself, although quite basic in style and features, only proved itself worthy ten fold through its location, staff and service. at the end of the day, all we really needed was a bed to sleep in. we definitely receieved more than that and more. The Ramana Saigon is a secret well kept in Ho Chi Minh and will definitely be a hotel i revisit again.

Fantastic”
As a traveller, we are absolutely spoilt with the number and types of accommodation available to us. To help me narrow down my search I always choose a hotel in the best possible location from the things that I want to see and the night life. I rely heavily on the feedback and although every traveller has different tastes, expectations and budgets, you can get a general feel of the hotel. The location of The Ramana was in District 3. District 1 is the heart of the city so the Ramana was a short taxi drive away. The airport was a short taxi fare away which was also convenient. The staff were very helpful. at reception was very helpful and professional in organising anything that I wanted to do or see. The room was clean and spacious with all the mod cons including a great bath tub. Hot water and air con was fine. Coffee etc. The breakfast buffet was extensive and catered for all nationalities. Would I stay here again and refer the hotel to others? - Absolutely!

Good hotel with very affordable rates”
RAMANA HOTEL's best quality would be the friendliness of all its staff, which truly reflects the warm nature of the Vietnamese people in general. They speak good English, which is a major advantage. The hotel food is good, the rooms are clean, and the price is very affordable. IT is located near the airport, and near major tourist spots around Ho Chi Minh, so getting around the city was no problem at all. THE only problem I encountered was the poor WIFI signal in the room. I had to go down to the hotel lobby, everytime I need to access the internet through my tablet or phone.

Located in District 3, you can get quickly to any destination in Ho Chi Minh City. Large parking place and taxis available at any time. Good business facilities. Gym and swimming pool for daily exercise are also available, very important for every business person who wants to maintain good health. I like this hotel and go there since many years.

Great location, welcoming staff, huge room”
Loved the stay!! Though not really walking distance to Ho Chi Minh's attractions? Its only a very short drive by taxi. Closed to all other good food restaurants and market is a big plus! Staff made us welcome and were extremely polite with smiles always! A "rare" thing in hotels in vietnam (?!?) much better than many other places in Ho chi minh city we have been to!! Room was huge and very comfortable I have no complaint about this hotel. Will def back next time and I do recommend to everyone

Quick overnight before flight”
We stayed at the Ramana prior to catching an early flight out the next morning. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The surrounding area was busy with an eclectic mix of shops and restaurants (very few western style), but the rooms were clearly well sound proofed as no noise reached us. We ate dinner in the hotel, and we were more than happy with the quality and cost of the food. We didn't take the breakfast option as we were leaving so early, but it looked good from what we saw walking passed the dining room. We would happily recommend the Ramana for people passing through Ho Chi Minh looking for good value, comfortable accommodation.

Great value for money”
Great value for money in this hotel which is 10 minutes drive from the airport. Very fast and friendly check-in, big bedroom finely decorated. Great cocktails served at the bar of the hotel, and again friendly service. The only minus point, which left a bit concerned is that when you check in, they take your credit card number AND the "secret" number at the back of your card...I will surely stay at the Ramana again next time in Saigon.

Great staff, lovely pool”
We returned to Ramana Saigon at the end of our trip after a pleasant stay at the start. It is conveniently near the airport and a reasonable distance -walk or taxi- from the centre. Staff we're incredibly helpful and flexible. Rooms were great. Was fantastic to have a sunny, good size , outdoor pool to use after a long day's sightseeing!

Good location, comfortable but time for updating ”
If you want a good hotel outside district 1 then the Ramana is a good hotel in district 3, Staff are friendly and location to shops and main area are good. The hotel is getting a little tired and needs some work but still its a good stay. Watch the showers the water tends to leak into the bathroom and the floor mat get soaked. I stayed 5 time in last 2 years the breakfast menu and main menu needs updating but for first time stays it is good.

Nice Hotel”
Ramana is a good hotel for the value. It is not far from the airport, has comfortable rooms with good emenities and the food in the dining area is quite good. AC works well and staff very helpful. They also have a very nice spa with steam room and Sauna. The only thing that would be a negative would be the wireless as three times I have stayed at hotel and they have indicated wireless is being worked on each time so peoplke end up working on computers in the lobby. It should not be that difficult to fix.

One night stop over ”
When you arrive by taxi the hotel staff are quick to help you with your luggage inside, great help from reception staff checking in. The next day our flight was at 7pm so the were nice enough to leave our luggage secured at the hotel. Also my partner has type 1 diabeties and the hotels staff were very helpful to keep her insulin in a fridge to keep cold while we explored ho chi minh. Could not be happier they did that for us, great help.

Clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff!”
Really pleased with our stay at Ramana. Everything was on point. The only downfall was the area it is in, not really safe to be walking to the centre of the city by foot as its too far and there aren't many pavements to walk on without scooters whizzing past inches away from you! We got a taxi to and from where we wanted to go which was inexpensive but I'd rather have walked. Other than that, lovely hotel, very clean, nice staff :) I would recommend

One night stay”
We wanted a hotel to allow easy transfer from the airport and to the train station the following morning. We also wanted a swimming pool. The location is excellent for this purpose and the swimming pool is big and very well maintained. The bonus was the excellent size of our room and comfort of the bed. P There were also many restaurants nearby and although we never ventured into district 1 this would be an easy and inexpensive taxi ride away. Staff very efficient at checking us in and out. Really well maintained hotel. When I am next in Saigon I will stay here.

This was my third stay here. Fairly close airport (60 dong). Don't let the airport taxis get away with charging 200 dong. Ask for a metered taxi. Rooms were large, clean, with wet bar, fridge and room safe. h small Casino is on the second floor. Staff were prompt and professional. Will make it my regular hotel when I visit Ho Chi Minh City,

Great Alternative to the 5 stars downtown”
I have stayed at the Ramana several times. The staff is always very courteous, the food quite good, the rooms comfortable, AC that works well, Internet cable connection that works well, and a steamroom and sauna in the SPA. You also save considerable money over the downtown hotels. The only downside is it is a few minutes away from the downtown walking areas.

Loverly hotel, handy to the Airport.”
The Ramana is probably the best hotel we have stayed in Asia as value for money is important to us. We had a great room, staff were friendly and helpful.The breakfast was the best we have ever had. They have great pool. This hotel was little bit dearer than we normaly pay but it was worth every penny.

Breakfast not tasty. Location is not good as it's quite far while accessing to town. Staffs are not friendly. And also the massage centre cannot be trusted, due to the price listed there is an actual. However, after massage session end, the girls are keep on asking for tips and also the prices are totally difference from the actual price which have been confirmed earlier. Kindly beware of this massage centre located into Ramana Saigon Hotel. This was my worst experience ever.
