In this room one night was enough”

The room was very cheap but it is reflected in the size which was small. A matrass on the floor and a chair where the only items of furniture and the room was dark and a wooden box. I didnt notice a fan on the wall until the morning but the electricity in the village went out anyway so not used. clean but sparse would be an apt description, I would recommend paying for a better room in future and will return at some point.

Most amazing experience”

Super sweet family owned homestay who makes you feel right at home! The room was simple and spacious with a good bed. Recommend to do the jungle tour with the guides of the homestay, they are lovely and know everything about the jungle! Also the food they prepare in the jungle is just unbelievably good. The homestay has a great garden to workout or chill right at the river. all in all a 10/10 !!

the staff was very friendly. one of them waited for me the whole day at the bus station many hours but I arrived with the car .. a big offer of breakfast
there was a karaoke at the night (Tuesday) till 1am and it was so loud, I count sleep and that was very bad. felt like they did the karaoke in our room.

Everything ! People are so kind and helpful. Food is excellent. Everything is clean. The garden is next to the river (and the local beach/ wakeboard) and looks beautiful. They organise great trekks experiences as well. Our journey here was amazing and we wished we had more time to stay

had a pleasant stay. the staff was super kind & having booked the jungle trekking tour (3 days, 2 nights) with rainforest guest house was the best idea as well. had the best tour guides- truly 2 jungle men ◡̈ very thankful for this adventure. the guesthouse is right at the river and the rooms are very comfy. nice hang out area. bathroom very clean incl. toilet paper. will come back!

Wonderful stay!”

Bukit Lawang us a wonderful town and not as touristic as other places in Indonesia. The communication with the people from rain forest guest house was easy and fast and they helped us to organize a bus to Medan, a hostel there and they also organize jungle Trekkings. the staff was really nice, the food was great and the atmosphere was very familiar. Perfect location for backpackers!

Amazing hostel and great jungle tour.”

This guest house was fantastic. The rooms were basic but all that was needed. Staff are super welcoming and friendly and give you everything you need. Food was really tasty and good value. Booked a tour guide through them for 2 day 1 night. Tour guide was Josef and it was a really good tour, he was very knowledgeable and spoke great English. 100% recommend.

Great stay with funny and warm-hearted staff”

Nani and Nella and all the staff are extremely warm-hearted and fun to hang out with. I loved the nights on the porch, singing and jamming with family and friends of them. They helped with arrival, departure and the jungle trip, JoJo and Ichal were great guides and we couldn‘t not have been any luckier!

Such a cozy place with a perfect place at the river, with hammocks etc... Even with pic up service and they really try to make your stay as comfortable as possible and you can feel that they want you to have a great time It‘s just a little bit dark in the night (not a lot of lights in the room/house) ... but that‘s the flair of the jungle ;)

The staff. They were really friendly and always willing to help. The food was also really good. It was also really cheap.
There was a cockroach in my room, but I think you can not completely prevent that since you’re staying in the jungle. I think for Indonesian standards the accommodation was very clean.
