Featuring free Wi-Fi access throughout, QuiikCat offers rooms and dormitories in the centre of Kuching, a 6-minute walk from the Sungai Santubong riverfront. A shared terrace is available. Each room comes with a shared bathroom equipped with shower. Certain rooms are air-conditioned. Complimentary towels are provided. Guests can prepare their own meals in the shared kitchen facilities. A great budget stay in the city”
My 2-night stay at Quiikcat was splendid. The owner is a great host. She helped us to find great places to eat, gave us tips to get around and etc. Location was great. We walked to Top Spot, one of the best places to get seafood in Kuching city. I'd return to this place for my next Kuching adventure.

Great new owners! ”
We only booked one night however we stayed 5! Halfway through our stay the new owners took over and changes were made instantly! The breakfast was hardly anything, a loaf of bread but no spreads. Now there is cereal, juice, bread, tea, coffee & biscuits! The new owners and the existing staff are all very friendly and helpful. Great location in Kuching.

If you need bed and breakfast in Kuching, let stay in this BNB. Just a stone throw away from city centre, 7 eleven, 10 min walk to Plaza Merdeka, and Riverside. 5 min walk to waterfront. Simply the best.

If you're travelling on a budget, this is your place in Kuching. Don't expect much more than what you paid for (it is a hostel after all) except for a laid back atmosphere in a central location. New management since a couple of months

Superb!!!”
The location is perfect, it is located in the city centre. Just across the road there is a convenience store opens 24/7 (7-11). Just by walking you can get to the waterfront and if you wanted to do some shopping you can go to either the Plaza Merdeka, Jalan Masjid India or Chinatown, everything is very near. You can find all sorts of foods and restaurants within this area. I booked the single bedroom, the room and the toilet is very clean. And the best thing of all, the lady owner is super duper friendly and helpful! Highly recommended!!

Amazing staff. Great hostel but not a hotel ”
If u are on budget, this is the best place u can come, it's homey, the 2 brothers who were there taking care of the places are just such genuine ppl. Honest, friendly and helpful. I have a room to myself, shared bathroom, everything is clean and tidy. For this kind of price I have nothing to complain but thankful.

The stay was great. The location was near to the city and the travel towards the city was short. it was near to the road though so a bit noisy in the morning. Recommended for solo traveler and couple looking for budget accommodation.

Good for everything except sleeping”
Was in the downstairs room. Unfortunately it's next to the lobby so we heard everyone talking, which could go on until the early hours and start early AM, you would also be woken every time someone upstairs moved. The walls are very thin so could hear room next door talking (which was a young family who were very noisy). This hotel does have pros though, showers were excellent, free tea and coffee all day, the lady on reception was lovely, albeit reception was unmanned a lot but I think this is due to her being overworked. Location is perfect.

Very basic, not worth 3 stars”
We slept in the queen room. Rooms are very basic and tiny. No real social area. Most certainly not worth 3 stars, only one. Was very hot in the room which was full of moskito's and next to a busy street. Staff was very friendly, they have the best rainshower we had in Asia and its down central kuching.

This hostel offers things that other hostels around don't have: superfriendly staff, 24h breakfast and a whole lot of electrical appliances in the kitchen for us to use. We even got a room with aircon instead of only a fan.

Was booked in for 4 days and ended up staying 7 nights. Location great, very close to everything. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. The owners were super friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Would stay again.

Good basic budget option”
Great & helpful owner & staff, basic fan rooms, toast and instant coffee for breakfast, good location, great cat art. But room doors are slatted and guests are so loud late at night that they might as well be partying in your room and pulling your earplugs out of your ears : / Wish there were quiet hours out of respect for others. Poor sleep here but was a fine basic budget option otherwise.

Great budget accommodation ”
We've stayed in some real dives and were pleasantly surprised by Quiick Cat. Close to everything you need, the AC was appreciated as was the hot shower. Eric gave us maps and bus schedules to make sure we could get where we needed to go. They even let us keep our bags there as we spent a night in Bako. Awesome stay. Thanks!!

The owners are so friendly, the guesthouse is really small so they are really concerned about their guests. Location is perfect, everything is within walking distance and there is a 7/11 across the street! Everything is really clean as well.
