Amazing place to stay with excellent service!”
We had a great time here at Queenstown House and would love to return one day soon! Louise is a very friendly host and made sure we got an excellent run down of Queenstown and helped us plan our trip. Cherie looked after us while we stayed and made sure we had everything we needed and helped us out with bookings for activities with a smile every time. We really appreciated the service Cherie provided during the daily happy hour, where wine and canapés were continuously brought out to us. We met some great people on this trip and the location was so close to town, with just a short walk (and a very steep hill!) to help us burn off our dinner on the way back. Thank you to Louisa and Cherie and we look forward to our next stay at Queenstown House!

There to serve you.”
Always willing to help. For example, we needed to leave before breakfast time for an excursion, so they brought a portable breakfast to our refrigerator the night before. The 5:50-6:30 wine and appetizer time is a wonderful opportunity to chat with other guests and learn about things to do in the area, and to learn about other travelers. There’s a beautiful view of Queenstown and the lake from Queenstown House, too. You do have to be willing to climb a steep hill to get here from town, or take a taxi. This is our second stay here, and we recommend it.

Excellent Hospitality”
Stayed at Queenstown House for 3 nights. We booked Family Room which has 2 nice comfy big beds. Location was great, short walk to town centre (steep slope though). We were hosted by Vicky and Emily, they're both very warm, friendly and helpful! Vicky offered us some useful tips to get around town. Breakfast was great! And the evening mingling session was a great idea to make some friends and exchange travel tips. Personally I thought the price is on the high side, but I had an excellent experience at Queenstown House and might consider returning when I next visit this place.

Best B&B I've Ever Stayed At”
I can't say enough positive things about Queenstown House. From the owner Louise to her staff to the lovely breakfast and happy hour. The views were amazing. The room was spacious and very clean. Nice patio and living spaces. Great advice given by staff. We had an early morning flight and they made us to-go breakfasts the night before to take with us. I hope to go back to Queenstown and would definitely stay there again.

Amazing all round!”
My friends & I can’t rave enough about this place! From the homely welcome by the genuinely friendly staff, to the stunning views from our room & the B&B to our personal farewell, with packed breakfast for our early flight! We were blown away by Queenstown House. I highly recommend this accommodation. We will be back!

Such a nice B&B!”
The owner was very friendly and helpful. We received a very warm welcome and were offered some wine and snack in a very nice common room while she gave us useful information about Queenstown. The B&B was nicely decorated which gave us a 'home' feeling. The room that we had was spacious with a small balcony and thoughtfully decorated. The comment that my wife made when she walked into the room was - 'This is a room for princess!'. Breakfast was excellent. This B&B is highly recommended!!

A brilliant place to stay, cannot fault a thing. The accommodation is fantastic, the staff are lovely and so accommodating, the afternoon wine and canapés are a great time to meet guests, finish the day and get ready for the night in Queenstown, highly recommend to everyone!

Nice place”
Living with Louise is very pleasant and I stayed 4 nights with her. The house has an awesome view over the beautiful town and lake. You can park your car in the B&B and walk to everywhere, enjoying the town and escaping its horrible traffic. The happy hour in every afternoon is a must-show activity, DO NOT miss it. There two points which is not good about this house. The building is a bit old so its facility may not work properly. I nearly had a cold water shower in one night since everybody else used up the hot water. Going back to the house from town is tiring, imaging Dragon Warrior climbs up to the Jade Palace.

Best NZ Hospitality by far”
We had high expectations of this B&B and were not disappointed!! Louise & Rob were excellent hosts & went out of their way to ensure we had the best holiday & stay possible. The room was exceptionally clean & bed most comfortable. The hosts also ensure that you don't leave breakfast ever feeling hungry. I looked forward to 'hospitality' hour every evening. This provided the opportunity to enjoy local wines & chat with other guests & the hosts over individual experiences & recommendations re activities, restaurants, etc. I will certainly recommend this accommodation to family & friends & hope to return again soon!! Be mindful that there is a step hill to walk up/down when travelling into the CBD. Not exactly friendly for older travelers or visitors that injure themselves. A taxi fare will cost between $6-7 NZ dollars for the 300 metre trip.

Great value for Queenstown”
The only downside to this b&b is it's up a steep hill from town but taxis are pretty cheap from downtown - we walked, even upon returning from the 5 day trek at Milford Track, carrying our stuff. We immediately relaxed with friends on the patio with a fabulous view of town and the lake. At 5:30 we were treated to wine and beer and appetizers. Followed by more appetizers! Louise, the owner, and the staff were friendly, helpful, accommodating and fun, and gave us great suggestions for restaurants in town. The following morning they served an outstanding breakfast, including the option of smoked salmon instead of bacon as a side. Eggs Benedict was delectable! Our room was clean, spacious, and bright, with an outstanding view. I was initially concerned that the front window couldn't be opened but we had plenty of fresh air from the side window. I'm not sure about the business use facilities, such as wifi and fax, etc. so I didn't give it an excellent rating for business travel. (Wifi can be tricky to access most everywhere in town, 'tho Patagonia seemed to work best and is free if you purchase chocolate, coffee, ice cream, etc.) This b&b even has laundry facilities 'tho we didn't use them. A little pricier than some places, but with the food included, a very good value!

Great place”
4 of us stayed here in the 2 bedroom apartment for 3 nights and were not disappointed. Spacious, comfy, relaxing and well heated with gas fire and aircon. Excellent view of lake . A number of choices are provided for breakfast and staff are very helpful. We would definitely stay here again if in QT.

Perfect stay”
Thank you very much Louise and team for a great visit. Superb breakfast with great selection. Canapés were fabulous and such a great way to meet other guests. Staff incredibly knowledgable about good dining places and activities. Just can't fault the service especially following my injury gained experiencing the regions outdoor playground. Thanks again

Homely place”
Great value for money. Warm and friendly host. A sumptuous breakfast is provided. Gathering with other guests at tea time (with crayfish !) makes it even more cosy! The walk up the hill home from town is a good workout to burn off the excess calories.

A great stay! ”
Service was wonderful! The housekeeper did a very good job! The view was spectacular! The staff was friendly & accommodating! The only complaint is the heater didn’t work for a couple of days because we didn’t know how to operate it. The housekeeper turned it off in the morning & forgot to turn it back on. We informed one of the staff at night and didn’t bother to check it for us and keep us warm on a cold night. My daughter researched it online how to operate the heater & finally figured to turn it on. We were able to be warm for the night. Other than that, we had a great stay!
