Nice hotel for a budget price”
We booked the room on a reduced rate and were surprised how nice it was for such a low price. Room is nice and clean and there is a nice area inside the hotel, like a covered yard, to sit. They offer a small indonesian breakfast buffet and some drinks. Tea and instant coffee are available in the room.

Good value, friendly place”
Nice interior, good furniture, friendly staff, spacious and clean room and warm light in the bathroom. The only thing I would suggest to change is getting new pillows, because the old ones saw their best days and they should add a mosquito net to the bed. All in all good value!

Comfortable, but dreadful staff”
The best thing about the hotel is that it is quiet - the first time I've ever experienced this in an Indonesian city. There was no noise whatsoever from the road or the neighbouring bars. The beds were comfortable, and the AC kept the room at a decent temperature. The inner decor is pleasant, and there is wifi available in the lobby area. The staff were largely very sweet and kind, but there was one man who was not to be trusted. He spoke aggressively, was unhelpful (not slowing down speaking in Indonesian when he could clearly tell I'm a basic speaker) and when he helped us organise a "taxi" he called his brother who charged us Rp 50,000 for a 3km drive into the city, then tried to cheat us out of another 20,000 on top of that. (The standard fare is 25,000 for that trip). So if you need to get into the city, walk to the main road and use a bemo, as the hotel is 3km away. Overall, if it's a one night, quick transit then I would recommend this place, but otherwise not.
