The great thing about this hotel is it is located very near Lake Sebu, we went down a few steps and we're already at the lake itself. Food options and taste is satisfactory. The downside however is the cleanliness. We initially booked the lake front non- airconditioned room but ended up upgrading to rooms with AC. The rooms we booked are old and dilapidated. The AC rooms are newer and better ones. The resort should add personell to maintain cleanliness. There are litters all over. There are even dog and cat droppings as I can remember! Insec/ mosquito repellents are also a must when visiting this resort

Great location. Bathrooms bit ordinary but is all you need for a couple of nights. Great view, location for zip lining the 7 falls, would recommend to my friends.

Great place to stay”
The resort is in front of Lake Sebu. However, room price is quite cheaper when you book directly as you arrive. My hotel room price via Agoda was 1200 while the resort only offers same room at 950 when you arrive. Hotel staffs are really friendly. One staff even took me to the lotus garden before 6AM for the sunrise (best time so you vould see the flowers bloom) and tilapia feeding for free (but I gave him a "tip" for his kindness). Habal-habal to the 7 falls is available right outside the resort.

Shocking deliberate overbookiong......”
We reserved two rooms through Agoda with payment made in full in advance. We arrived at the hotel at 2:30pm after 3 hours driving and were told "Sorry, we're overbooked and can't accommodate you, we will try to get you rooms at a close-by hotel (the Mountain Log Resort)". The staff gave us varying excuses why they could not honor our prepaid Agoda booking, ranging from "We forget how to login to Agoda's system" to "We tried calling you this morning but didn't have your telephone number". Only one employee seemed genuinely truthful. We agreed to move to the Mountain Log Resort amd the Punta Isla offered us free dinner. The Mountain Log Resort is easily the worst, dirtiest, and most dilapidated hotel I have ever stayed at. My guess is the Punta Isla regularly overbooks and pushes guests out to the Mountain Log Resort as nobody with any sense of hygiene would ever willingly stay there (stray dogs roaming the hotel, feeding off dirty plates left on tables for hours, roaming in the hotel kitchen!!!!!). This experience destroyed my confidence in Agoda's system.

Good but the swimming pool was not in service.Our kids wanted to have a swim during our stay in Lake Cebu so we have to go to the neighboring hotel to have the swimming fasciity.
