Wonderful setting, luxurious room, fine cuisine”

Overall, I am very satisfied with this hotel, the lobby is friendly, the restaurant’s chef is really caring about his guests, his cuisine is very tasty and the prices of the room, that are very luxurious, are extremely reasonable. Now you have to keep in mind that in winter, no pool or golf or any installation is working, so obviously don’t go there in winter for them, but still, you can take a walk to the waterfall, enjoy the peacefulness of the surroundings and take a day trip to Lesotho as it is the closest hotel to the border. Definitely worth a visit !

Very dry, many of the plants/grass is dead e.g. soccer field and golf course. Might be because it is there dry season, and I am sure Covid has not helped. Also no towels provided when using outdoor pool. Otherwise great location, friendly staff and delicious buffet dinner.

There were no signs on what to do when confronted by Baboons. The trails should be cleaned and maintained especially as the horse pooh is not please to walk through. Limited dinner choices”

A problem with 2 rooms' leaking showers, the second room having a very mouldy smell. Rooms were lovely but the showers were a problem. Asking for extra towels, there were none. We were moved to another room but the problem was worse. We didn't want to move again. Dinner was a terrible let-down as the ONLY option was buffet at R260 p.person, although the in-room menu indicated A la Carte, Buffet and Room service. We were informed that both the room service and housekeeping teams were not on duty over the weekemd. I assume some of the problems were due to a lack of bookings and funds over the Covid19 period, in which case they are doing well to recover.
