1 Night @ The ICC”
The ICC EL was a good place to reside in East London. It took quite a while finding the correct entrance to the Hotel however once located the security was helpful in directing me to the guests parking lot and reception. The parking lot was a little cramped up however it was good to see a basement parking lot. The hotel is quite massive and the walk from the Parking Lot to the reception is a bit distant but it's worth it because it's a beautiful hotel inside. Reception staff were great and attentive and even advised on the best places to try out. The rooms very spacious and although mine was situated quite far from the Reception I appreciated it as it meant less walking Traffic. The Room had a great Toursist Booklet which I found quite handy in my East London Experience. Overall I'd give the Hotel an 8/10. Definitely would try it again

Best hotel on the beachfront”
i was extremely impressed with the icc. i had gone up for a major sporting event and the entire hotel staff went the extra distance to make everyone comfortable. this even included early breakfasts (which were excellent) and special massages at the spa. all staff were polite and helpful. i can't recommend this hotel enough, i will only stay there whenever i next visit east london. well done.

The hotel really gave me value for money. It is a pity I only could stay for 1 day.”
I had checked out of an establishment a few blocks away that was filthy and had charged a lot for nothing. I had booked there for two days, but couldn't stay there another night. Staff at reception and concierge were very professional and helpful. Hotel was sparkling. Room spacious and fresh. Walking distance to beach, and lovely jogging esplanade along the beach. I will go back next time I am in East London.

Great Stay and Even Better Service ”
We had a great stay at Premier Hotel which is great as that is a standard they consistently deliver on every stay. This is from the time Lindelwa assisted us on checking in up to the day we left. It’s our first choice when we’re in East London and will continue been.

Best hotel in East London”
East London is a dirty and nothing city, but has nice beaches and this hotel is directly on the best beach, and all rooms have ocean views. The city is dangerous to walk around, but this hotel has everything you need for your stay, good restaurant, pool, gym and free wifi in rooms. The rooms are huge and all have balconies facing the sea

Best hotel in East London”
East London is a boring and dirty city...but if you have to visit then this is the best hotel to stay...rooms are large and all rooms face the beach. Have shuttle to the Airport for R160 and good wifi in the rooms

wonderful amazing stay!”
it was very comfortable. we stayed for one night as a stop over but were so suprised as this hotel was even better than others we booked at along our route. extremely clean rooms and bathroom, super comfortable, and very close to amenities all around. will only stay here in East London when we return.

Parking could work better given size of hotel.”
Enjoyed it but getting cable channels was quite tricky, took me a while to figure it out even though they had a "how to do it" manual. Parking could have worked better especially for us as the service lift to upper levels do actually go down to the parking area but guests aren't allowed to use that exit. Having checked on probably East London's busiest night (with Buyelekhaya Concert just a stone's throw away) I would have expected more floors to be made available to guests. Pulling out heavy luggage to the two different lifts (on opposite ends of the hotel - at least that's how it fel given where we managed to secure a parking spot eventually) seemed silly especially given location of our room (820).

A bit overpriced”
Room itself was well appointed. Massive bed, very comfortable! Lounge was OK but everything was placed awkwardly - the TV was not facing the sofa which made relaxing on the sofa and watching TV difficult. Checkin was very helpful and they helped with luggage to the room. Very spacious shower but very dark, there were no lights. NO hot water in the morning! Dinner buffet was OK but completely overpriced for the very limited choice and quality of food you get. Due to this, did not have breakfast next day. Location pretty good, right on the seafront. Hotel is a bit difficult to find, there are two hotels in the same place - Premier Regent and ICC - and it's not obvious which is which and where to drive/go. Parking was covered and easy to access (but not very secure).

Very good”
It is good hotel and nicely located in East London, they can improve on following areas so that it will attract customers and repeated bookings. 1) Room cleanliness should be improved further 2) The internet to the customer should be unlimited until their stay. The coupon system needs to be scrapped.

Very pleasant”
We were there only one night as a convenience while traveling. Very hard to find especially as we could find 5 hotels with the word "premier" in there name.

Great stay”
From check in the reception was really very professional and friendly. We requested a tour of the hotel and Bradley was awesome! The hotel is really nice and the sea facing room on the 14th floor was to die for. The seaviews .. just what we needed for the soul. Thanks to all the staff, reception, porter, Bradley, staff at the Salmon. We had a great stay and cant wait to return. Vuyo

Best Hotel in East London”
Have stayed here many times as is the best hotel in EL...which is a very basic and messy town...this hotel is on the beach with great views and fresh sea air. Hotel restaurant is fine...which avoids going out at night to a creepy town

Above average”
Whilst the Hotel was fine, I record the following problem. I booked and prepaid the Hotel transport to take my wife and myself to East London airport at 6-30 am. On arrival at reception I was informed that the transport was unavailable to us as it was collecting one of the Hotel managers from his home. The hotel called a taxi for us which turned out to be a very small, old and rusty VW Polo that could not fit our luggage in. A second taxi was called which arrived very late causing much anxiety to us both. My comment is that guests should be considered above the convenience of Hotel employees. For this reason I cannot recommend this establshment.

Charming welcome, disenchanting stay”
Spent two nights there. The hotel staff at reception and in the dining room and the security staff at the entrance are charming and gracious. East London and the Eastern Cape are in a tight economic situation and this is reflected in the hotel where they are trying new ways of charging for services. For example, in the dining room breakfast is served 'a la carte' and one is charged per item ordered.
