"Literally the best place I ever stayed, it is so much better than it looks on the picture. This hotel has three hotsprings in their own garden, which are not on the agoda pictures so it was a very nice surprise when we arrived. We even had an outside bathtub at our own bungalow which in the evening was filled with hotspring water by the staff, so we look at the stars in our own private garden sitting in a hot bath. The staff is superfriendly, the surroundings are very peaceful and superbeautiful, elephants come to take a bath in the river at the hotel so there is always something beautiful to see. If agoda would have shown the real beauty of this place we would have booked more than two nights because we were really sad we had to leave this place. The only minor point of criticism we have is that the hotel works together with a very bad motorbike rental company, those guys tried to scam us in every possible way. So the hotel should start working together with another rental company than "happy pai" to provide guests with motobikes. But it is not the hotel's fault that those guys are so terrible, the people of the hotel are the best!"

"It was the best hostel during my journey to Thailand. the host is really nice, who can speak Chinese. and the staff there are all kind. They helped us book one day tour with a low price. mostly important, when we went to the town, the driver would send us and pick us up. Though it is a little far from the town, it still can be your choice."

"We enjoyed staying here during our visit to Pai and hope to be back again someday. We loved how the homes were set up for community style living. I believe there are 3 separate rooms in each home, 2 have their own bathrooms and one has one right next door to it. The staff is amazing, we loved speaking to Bua, others don't speak much English but are warm and caring. I was looking for a gym and was offered a private yoga lesson for 200B, and enjoyed it. The property is very pretty with a good size pool and nice restaurant. It's set in a quite location with rice fields behind it. 😍 Its a little out of town but not an issue with you have a motorcycle. "

"The hotel is set about 5-7 minutes outside of town by car/motorbike. In fact renting a motorbike is essential if you stay here, but you really should get one if you visit Pai to make the most of your time. The hotel rents motorbikes for 150THB per day with helmet with no hassles. No need to leave your passport, and no scams. Rent full of Petrol and return full. It is NOT a walkable distance to town, and there are no taxi/tuk tuks, so a motorbike is a must. The first mention must be of the hospitality of the owner and family. They really go above and beyond and i felt more like an old friend than guest. They picked me up and dropped me off in town for free, and were very hospitable during my stay. On my checkout i had left a couple of items in the room, and the owner came and found me in a cafe in town to returned the items. I really appreciated that gesture. Thank you. Amazing. The pool is absolutely idyllic, postcard stuff. There is also a gym and sauna onsite. This would be a very nice place to rest for a few days, as there are coffee shops and view points withing meters of the hotel. Just head into town for meals. The bungalows are very new, and are extremely comfortable with AC/TV and comfortable beds. Enough room to move around with a spacious wet room that has a very nice shower. Some constructive criticism: the cleaners could make more effort in the bathrooms, there is a soapy feel to the wall/floor and the sink was not cleaned at all during my stay. I do hope the owners will address this because it really is the only minor downside. Also in the colder months, it would be very nice to have a second blanket in the room. I'm sure the owners would have been only too happy to supply me with one, but i obviously didn't want to disturb anyone at 3am - and it was my last day. I would not hesitate to stay here again next time Im in PAI. This time i will stay longer, chill and recharge my batteries. Final mention to the lovely white dog that will come to gree"

"I've used this place many times over the years with my tour business customers and it always met with favourable comments. The place has ben recently refurbished and a pool has been added. The price of the rooms have gone up approx 70% to reflect this. Somewhat excessive IMO. However, the main problem is the afternoon receptionist. I'm sure she's not Thai! All the Thai people I have met whilst doing business here over the past 13 years have been pleasant, friendly and helpful. Not this b*tch. Check-in was a painful and unpleasant experience ith not a hint of a smile and just a few grunts. No "welcome/Sawasdee", just the demand for everyone's passport and payment upfront. In the morning I met the manageress who was a lovely lady and expressed my concerns. Hopefully the receptionist will either have been trained in the art of customer service or booted out on her a*se! In summary - nice place. A bit expensive considering no breakfast was included for the price. Lovely manageress, "

"I feel like I can't say enough praises about this place! I booked it for 3 nights and was a little hesitant that there was only one review. My fears were unfounded though. The couple that run the resort are incredibly accomadating and make sure you are well taken care of. The rooms are spacious and have an outdoor hot shower, mini garden, and private hottub. Being sick, it was the perfect place for me to relax and recuperate. The spa packages are also quite nice. It's out of the city, so you need to rent a scooter, but it's in a beautiful area and so worth it. I've been traveling for a few months and this has been the best 3 days of my trip!"

"From the minute I arrived at Kuad Khon, I knew I was home. I had been in Pai for three nights prior staying at a cheap bamboo cottage on the riverfront. It was nothing special, and the bed was barely sleepable. So, wanting to stay somewhere a little nicer for one night, I booked a room at Kuad Khon on recommendation from Agoda. I was so so very happy I did. It's a bit outside of Pai, probably 10 minutes by motorbike, but I had rented one while I was there; so it wasn't a big deal. I actually loved its location, surrounded by rice fields with a great view of the mountains in the distance. The pool was perfect, and I went in it for hours during my one-night stay, including a night swim where I had it to myself. It was a little loud because they're building more bungalows, so the owner gave me a free breakfast to compensate. I couldn't ask for anything more, and my only regret was that I only stayed one night."
