Best Hotels with Pools in Shopping Center | Private, Shared & Infinity Pools

"Location is everything when choosing a hotel. This is without a doubt the best location to be in Udon thani with a short walk to the night markets and UD town, the train station and also the central shopping center. There is also Laundry service, bars and restaurants right next to the hotel. Best and biggest choice of bars and restaurants within a short walk. No need for Tuk tuks. I recommend the Esan street food which is fantastic. The only down side to the hotel is the shower which is horrendous! The actual bathroom is big and nice but the shower should have been re refitted as it is the worse set up i have ever seen in a hotel. The shower door leaks onto the floor causing a hazard which is very dangerous. The angle of the shower can not be adjusted to your head so instead sprays against the door which leaks outside of the shower onto the bathroom floor. It is also an old electric shower that is probably around 20 year old looking at it. I actual had the plastic trim off part of the door come loose and crunch the door almost smashing the glass. The door was already leaking before this happened. The breakfast is over priced as well. Never have breakfast here or get you're clothes washed here as you can get much cheaper and better else where. The pool area is small but nice. This is still my top choice hotel for Udon. If you book in advance and get a good price it is well worth a stay."

"My stay at the Centara Hotel and Convention Centre Udon Thani Hotel was a pure delight. I was very impressed with the appearance of the lobby and rooms. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel is located in an excellent location. It is within walking distance of almost anything one might need or want. Restaurants, shopping centers, nightclubs, bus station, and other places are within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast and lunch buffet had a very large selection of food available. The food was beautifully presented. The lunch buffet was most impressive and well attended by the staff. More traditional Thai food could be found in the food court at the supercenter, just a short walk from the hotel, or at the shopping plaza near the train station, as well as the many restaurants in the area. The only negative I have about the hotel is not being able to use the internet while they transition to new computers. I believe the transition could have been better managed by having at least one computer available for patrons. The Centara Hotel is now my favorite hotel to reside when ever I am in Udon. It has too many pluses, and too few negatives. "

"Stayed in this hotel twice this trip, first night in Udon Thani and the last two nights, They offer a free airport transfer which is a great bonus and makes it a great spot to start and finish your time in the area. Central to major shopping center, bar and market areas as well as the bus station We had the deluxe room which is great , a little small and the bathroom a bit cramped, very comfortable bed, and the complimentary welcome drinks at the roof top bar is a great idea . Not a hotel for long stays but really suits our purposes before and after a trip around Nth Issan"

"We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was adequate, there was a pool, excellent location as the hotel is near bus terminal shopping center and night market. Hotel provided a free airport transfer. Staff were quick in responding to requests. Good value for money. Some updating would make this hotel more attractive."
