Wow! ”

Much more and far better than what I expected. The hotel is in renovation mode but is beautiful none the less. The kids had a blast at the pool and the beach (which is directly in back of the hotel) and the hubby and I were able to relax at the pool bar while they did. Another perk is the spa! I got an excellent massage for a pretty reasonable rate and never had to leave the hotel. Close to everything both in the Boardwalk and in the city. We had a great stay and a great time in Daytona! I’d definitely recommend that if you are looking for excellent accommodations for a reasonable fare, stay here!!!

Late to where I'm going and valet is too busy to hurry to get my car valet Services is free Alyssa comes from behind the desk grabs my keys goes and gets my car and bring it up to me all while smiling he is always quick to help and the reason I stay there when I go to Daytona. The guy that LA are extremely busy and some of the patients are extremely rude but they never take the smile off your face and Ilare very eager to help after only one visit when I pulled into the second visit they recognize me and my hummer truck . It's refreshing when you get out of your truck and the valet guy says welcome back and I'd only been there once . The rooms are clean bottled water, the first two large are provided free . I was offered an upgrade to Ocean View for only $20 . Daytona to play poker and always find this is the place for me to stay.

We were skeptical at first but will definitely return. The hotel was beautiful. The staff was amazing and very helpful. We chose valet parking due to worrying about parking a large truck and they had our vehicle ready each day within a minute or two. We visit Daytona Beach each year and this will definitely be our go to place from now on.

I seriously cannot say enough good things about how amazing, wonderful, beautiful, accommodating, friendly, just plain awesome the Plaza Resort & Spa is. This is our second year staying here and we keep bringing more friends with us! Upgrade to the studio, the views in the room are amazing. Enjoying the sunrise each morning, seeing the white sands & teal ocean, hitting the waves, if you’re a beach lover this is you’re ticket! The pool is huge and there’s just sooo much fun to be had. The music is awesome at the pool, great playlist! And they have chess, cornhole, connect 4 supersized and the pool bar is awesome. I could keep going for ever but I’ll just say 5 stars rating from us.

Great Family Getaway”

The Plaza Resort & Spa was very accommodating for my family! Traveling with teenagers can be a chore in itself, but the ease of the location and the "private" area of the beach (no driving in front of the hotel along the beach)made it easier for me to relax and let them explore. The hotel staff was AMAZING and helpful with anything we needed. The room temperature fluctuated a bit much for me, but other than that, the stay was PERFECT!

Vacation Trip”

Realy good hotel on a really good location of Daytona Beach. Excellent service on all hotel areas, very clean and close to restaurants and bars. Only not 100% because they don't have breakfast included, but you can order at hotel restaurant or on iHop very close to it.

Plaza Resort - on the beach”

The Plaza Resort is a nice hotel, in fact with a little more attention to detail it could be excellent. It is obviously directly on Daytona Beach and has a good pool area that really do make it. The hotel itself is fine although the room could have been a tad cleaner, things like the carpet and bathroom again needed that attention to detail. Otherwise it was acceptable if a little pricy.

Always Pleasant”

It was a last minute decision to stay in Daytona for New year's eve and this very nice hotel didn't charge us a fortune. And it was in a perfect location on the beach and close to main street and the festivities. Tons of amenities and complimentary items throughout including a very nice bar through the lobby.

Great Resort”

Loved our time at the Plaza. I chose this resort on Agoda because it was a great price. I’m so glad that I did. My boyfriend that went with me is a Regional Manager for Marriott Hotels. He was very impressed with this resort and the price that I paid. Our room was located on the corner of the 12th floor. It came with a jacuzzi, full kitchen and an amazing view of the ocean. We did have a small leak in our ceiling that was caused from the air conditioner in the room above us. The resort was gracious enough to refund me the resort fees and a one night stay because of the inconvenience. On top of that I did not have to pay the $65.00 room service charge that we had incurred the first night we were there. I definitely recommend this resort.

Great Experience, Definitely Returning ”

We had a great experience at the Plaza Resorts and Spa. The room was clean and very well maintained.. The Resort outside was also beautiful, the pool was very large and supplied towels, cushioned lounge chairs and umbrellas. Had an area to sit around a fire, and outside bar and wonderful views. We especially liked the private beach.We felt the price was very good for all we got. Would definitely return.

check in”

Checking in there was a surprise $150 that they hold on your credit card until check out. Then it takes 3-5 days to get it back. Wondering if I’ll really get it all back. Room was left just like I found with nothing billed to the room. Not sure if this is policy for all Daytona hotels, but I left feeling like I’d been lied to. Other than that, great location and clean rooms. Staff was nice and pool area always clean.

Going on vacation”

The staff was wonderful. Cora for checking out couldn't of been better. She was so helpful. We had a problem with the valet parking. They were very nice and on time. But when we departed we were not given our key back and we have the kind of car that starts without a key. The Valet had started it and we drove off we didn't know we were without a key. We decided to go shopping before leaving Daytona and found out we didn't have out key. They told us they didn't have it then found it. They brought it to us. But we were lucky we hadn't driven it to far away.

Great stay”

We LOVED our stay at the Plaza resort. It was very close to everything we needed. Walgreens across the street and the beach at our toes! The only thing I would not recommend is the onsite restaurant. food isn't terrible but the service is.

Exceptional”

I was here in mid May 2018 and it was an amazing stay! The front desk staff is amazing!! Shout out to Marie!! She is incredibly helpful and friendly. Also, Jordan at the bar is so accommodating and helped us with the many questions we had about the resort and surrounding area. The rooms were extremely clean and beds were soooooo comfy!! The construction was not a problem at all. Most of the time, you don't hear anything. Many are complaining about the elevators, but the longest we had to wait was about 2 minutes. Most of the time they showed up in 30 seconds or less. The pool is heated and if you want an alcoholic beverage, go see Cynthia at the pool bar! (Highly recommend getting a bucket! Wow!!) I will definitely return to this resort and spa! Thank you for making my first vacation in years wonderful!!!

Exceptional”

The deal we got through agoda allowed us to have a king room with an ocean view for a reasonable price. We did have to pay an extra 36$ for parking and a hotel fee but still we paid 115$ and it was most defiantly worth it! We love coming to this place when we can. It’s close to the night life and it’s on the beach. They have a sparkling pool and friendly staff no matter the hour.

Nice ambiance ”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Plaza Resort! The rooms were Rumi and well-decorated. The pool area was clean and pretty overlooking the ocean. My only complaint is they don't have free coffee downstairs. When I woke up my husband was still asleep, so I did not want to make coffee in the coffee maker in the room. I wanted to go downstairs and grab a cup and there was no coffee! they do not serve it until the gift shop opens at 7 a.m.

the hotel is very good for travellers with all age. the hotel is rather close to the daytona beach int' airport and staying at this hotel is wonderful.

Bike week 2018”

The facility had been hit hard after the storm last year so they were still doing the outside. Nobody told us this when booking. Starting at 9:00 am all we heard was the sounds of hammer drills on the outside. The room was okay facing North but the noise was unbearable on top of that the toilet didn't work correctly. The Resort gave us free breakfast buffet tickets for each day. This was not acceptable, after talking to the manager Fernando, he was able to move us to an ocean view far enough away that we could tolerate the noise. Be very cautious of booking, make sure you check and see what the hidden fees will total per day. You will be charged besides the room fee a Resort fee, Sales tax, County tax. We were not expecting these extra charges. Overall the staff were very helpful, the housekeeping people were the best and the distance to the beach and Daytona's main street were great. I would return but will wait until all the repairs have been completed and ask the total cost per day

Fun in the Sun!”

The Plaza Resort was s great experience! The staff was exceptional, even in the midst of difficult guests. The accommodations were comfortable. All the Plaza needs is s decor upgrade. Keep up the fantastic service!!

Great Value”

Good location, directly on the beach, room a little dated and had a few maintenance issues but those were taking care of ASAP. Ms. Cora and the valet staff were very friendly. Free valet is nice. The elevator is extremely slow often waited 15-20 minutes. Nice to have an ocean view room although the noise from the street is really loud at night. Overall for the value not a bad deal. The hotel is currently remodeling so hopefully some of the issues will get better. We will stay there again!
