We loved everything about this homestay. The location is beautiful, the room is in great condition and the family are so lovely. They cooked us some wonderful meals and also arranged motorbikes for us. It was the highlight of our trip and a chance to see real rural Vietnam 😊

Very nice people and English speaking daughter. They were keen to make us happy and kept bringing us food. Also organized a kettle and taxis for us. A lovely setting beside the ricefields and hills.
Occasional noisy visitors. It is a homestay so can&#39;t complain.

Wonderful homestay owned by an incredibly kind and welcoming family - the location is perfect if you&#39;re looking for something quiet and outside of the tourist area (which is only a few minutes drive away). I plan to stay here during future trips to Phong Nha.

Tranquil stay with a lovely family”

Phong Nha is a touristy town catering to backpackers and other tourists visiting the caves in Phong Nha national park. The main part of town is very touristy with few locals. Phong Nha Rice Field Homestay on the other hand is in the village where only locals live. It buts up against the rice paddies (the back room looks out onto the rice paddies), so as a result it&#39;s incredibly quiet and peaceful. The family that runs the Home Stay is lovely. The 13 year old daughter is the only one that speaks english, and so is the boss to some extent. She is not only charming and fun, but very efficient. The mother does all the cooking and it&#39;s well worth booking the dinner here (the breakfasts are included). We had incredible food throughout Vietnam, but enjoyed the 2 dinners here more than anything else that we&#39;d eaten. If you&#39;re looking to party and hang out with other tourists, this is not the place for you as it&#39;s a pretty far walk into the main part of town. If, however, you want an authentic comfortable stay in a local village (I even joined a pickup volleyball game with the locals), this place is highly recommended.

A wonderful authentic Vietnamese experience!”

The family was so nice, accommodating, and loving. Their daughter, Hung, was very delightful and so helpful with her great English. It was so wonderful to stay with the family and share dinner together and experience the Vietnamese way of life. The food was delicious. It was also so convenient to be able to rent scooters from them and visit all the nearby attractions. It was such a joy to take walks in the neighborhood and talk and laugh with the children and all the locals.

It was amazing spending some days with this gorgeous family. The daughter organized an amazing jungle tour and on one evening we cooked all together - unforgettable experience. The homestay is a little bit away from the city which provides a very scenic and lovely surrounding. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Breakfast as well as dinner were very tasty.
