City View Apartment!”

First of all, this accommodation is not just a regular hostel, but an apartment located at the 12th floor of residential building instead. It was instantly made me feel like home from the beginning. Attentive and helpful staff greeted me with handful recommendation of where to go, where to eat, what to do in the city. The rooms are clean with the view of Saigon. Wifi is available and reliable. Free flow mineral water, you can make tea and coffee as much as you wish for free, and FREE DIY LAUNDRY! Yes, there is washing machine for you to do your own laundry. I did twice during my 4 days stay! :p Never stayed in such place before. Superb!

Nice hostel with very friendly people”

I had a great stay at Skygon. It's a bit difficult to find. Rooms are clean, bathrooms are ok clean. IMHO it would need another bathroom, or at least separate toilette from showers. Staff is really nice, daytrips are cool, and the view is remarkable. The table space is also very convenient to get some work done. Location is perfect. Highly recommended!

Great stay and perfect views ”

This Hostel is located in a large skyscraper. The dorms are on the 12th floor while the seperate rooms are on the 18th floor. The views are great - especially at night. You will get some fruits and a bun for breakfast. Also instant coffee. There are drinks available for purchase and the staff made a fantastic list of possible activities in Saigon that you can book through them (very good prices). There is no hassle to book with them and they will let you do your own thing. Very clean, helpful staff, high privacy - would recommend to anyone! Make sure you have the address when first arriving. Tell the taxi driver to take you to the Copac square. They should know that one. Then there are 2 security guards that you can ask to find the Hotel (but as you know now, it's on the 12th floor. So just take the elevator).

Amazingly comfortable and convenient hostel!”

This hostel has a really great location for tourists. It seems about 2 minutes walking to the city center and it is also located on the best local food street of the city. The room is cool because it is on 12th floor and the bed is very comfortable too. The hostel designs beds in such a smart way, it has 2 layers, one is hard, one is soft which can be upturned for your preference. I definitely had a perfect staying here.

A little far from the main city, but otherwise a great stay!”

This hostel is located away from the main tourist and backpacker district, so it made getting around a bit difficult. But otherwise, this place was great- very friendly staff, a nice breakfast each morning, a beautiful view from the 12th floor or a building- it is everything you could want from a hostel.

Cheapest and the most convenient hostel ever!!! ”

I love this hostel at the first looking. It looks really cute and attractive to me. I like how they equip the room and beds. Single bed has a lamp at the head of the bed that enable you to read books at night without disturbing the others, and a small table to put some stuffs like glasses, paper, phone, charger… also some little trees hang on the bed’s corner made the room look fresh. Very CONVENIENT! The bed is good, soft and comfortable. Staffs asked me about my feedback for their new bed so I think they just changed new ones which is better a lot! I gotta say I had nothing to complain, everything is over my expectation. Definitely come back with my friends later!

Felt like at own apartment”

It's an apartment unit become a hostel, u will feel it's like at ur own home. Free bfast, free wifi, free coffee and tea also fruit. Nice view from 12th floor building with river and city scene. And the staff were awesome, friendly and helpfully.

Great view and great host”

Pros: Lovely host willing to help with anything. Free homemade breakfast (banh mi and bananas). Excellent view of the city. Local neighborhood with lots of people selling meats and veggies in the small dense streets. Not touristy at all. Cons: Only one bathroom for all rooms.

9$ seems a lot but I get free food, free vietnames bfast different everyday and it feels like a student dorm or something like that, great atmosphere and I preferred it 10 times more than the "backpacker" district!

Excellent Place for Backpacker”

They have clean linen, nice city view, complimentary good breakfast and also washing machines. This is the place which I have looking for. Definitely will be back again!!

Nice view of Saigon River”

Everything is good about the hostel except for its rock hard bed. Free laundry, free water, view of saigon river is perfect.

Good value but has its downsides”

We enjoyed our stay here, although you should be aware that the hostel is not close to the areas in Saigon that you probably wish to visit. The area of district 4 has a distinct local charm, but it's also not tourist-oriented. You will have to walk at least 15 minutes to get to the 5-star district and even more for the central area. If it's just for one night, you probably may prefer to stay closer to the attractions, your agencies and buses.

Stay here for the view”

Friendly staff. The hostel has got the best view of the river of saigon. However the bed in the hostel is horribly hard like rock.

Fabulous!”

We love how they manage the stay. Warm welcome us with smile, fruits and drinks. Very comfort stay over few days, except its a little far from the happening street. Will definitely revisit if I goto Vietnam again!

Bad Experience”

Situated in District 4, it is not 1km away from the center as they said, we arrived in the afternoon, it's been difficult to find the place cause it's hiding at the 8th floor of a big building and if you do not ask the "security" down stairs you will never find becouse there are not signals. We were greeted from Lily, she's been very nice and kind with us, we booked a private double room with toilette, we went to the next building with her and she show us the place, it was a 2 bedrooms appartment and we had one of the room, in the 2 room was other people, pretty good and fantastic view but not so clean, after she left we look around and, the toilette was dirty like someone just had a shower and, our bedroom was also dirty but i did not mind so much cause we only booked, fortunately, only 1 night there, till we saw the bed-sheets as someone just wake up and we many long and short black her inside, i called the receptions and i told the girls about the situation, telling that we are going for a walk and we'll be back in the evening so she could send an house keeping to clean and change the bed-sheets. We back at midnight, very tired, expecting a clean bed where to sleep right away. Nothing was change, exactly the same, i was so pissed, i sit on the bed, took my phone, booked another hotel, called the taxi again and we left......result? we paid, we never slept there...

Changed my room without notice.”

When I checked in I was taken to a different room than the one I booked on Agoda. This room is significantly uglier and has a shared bathroom. They said the reason was that the guests there extended their stay. Unfortunately, they didn't notify me before I came. I did ask for a refund but they didn't accept it. At first, I was planning to stay anyway but then I just left and looked for somewhere else. They did offer me a 20% discount for the next stay via email but I think a refund was the only thing that could save them from a negative review here. Sorry.
