My stay at the Phangan Utopia Resort was phenomenal. From the driver to the restaurant staff everyone was amazing, warm, welcoming and very friendly. Michelle who helped me out with the check in process made it seamless and efficient, answered all my questions beyond satisfaction. Facilities were clean, breakfast included provided many great options. Thank you Phangan Utopia for a fantastic stay.

We had very best experience in this journey.Near the Clarloklum berch abouy 30min for walk. Hotel has twice shuttle bus 11:00am &14:00 for one day ,from hotel to xx beach and go back, but must be reserved. We want say thanks for frontdesk sfaff.This guy was very kind and gentle,but i forgot his name.If nest time we will going to Koh Phangan, Utopia will be best chice. Thank you our friends.

Fantastic”

From the moment we stepped off the ferry we were welcomed by a member of staff from the resort and transferred free The resort itself is spectacular with breath taking views from the top of one of Koh Phangans mountains Our room was lovely with beautiful sea views, clean , comfortable and a great size with a wonderful balcony. All the staff were brilliant and they made our stay so special and memorable. I will definately stay here again if I return to phangan and would recommend everyone to do the same Thank you Khun Nom and the team

+The resort have the restaurant and pool bar inside the resort, the view is so nice. +Friendly staff, if you’d like to go Mae han Beach & Kohma or Chaloklum beach, resort have a taxi service for free and pick you up in the evening). +Close to the 360 bar just walk for 5 minutes, it’s special place, you have to go here for dinner with sunset and can see gulf view point > 180• it’s stunning and when you back to resort, plz bring your flashlights -For the location, it’s so far from the pier, you can call the car rental with the driver to utopia (the north of the Phangan island), cost is around 200 THB / person. -my bathroom is a clogged pipe, I have to dry in the morning

Staying at Utopia Resort for 6 nights brought us an unforgettable experience and added a lot of wonderful memories to our journey. Invincible sea view, quiet and convenient location, convenient facilities, etc. Everything feels too good value. I feel that all the staff are super cute, and the Thai service is brought to the extreme, making people feel completely at home. We are here for the fifth time in Thailand. We have lived in many hotels from Taibei to Tainan. This is the hotel we feel is the best service, and the five-star service is not too much. They will try to meet your various requirements, the full VIP treatment, and let us eat Chinese food in their restaurant, so cute. I have to mention the very beautiful and lovely Michelle beauty. The Chinese communication is barrier-free. I have accompanied us almost all the time and solved all our problems. We will always miss her and hope to see her next time. Relaxation among Full Moon parties”

The location was a bit far from pier and the beaches + all the party locations. We tried to look for a hotel far away from all the Full Moon Party madness, but still where we could easily join the parties. Hotel arranged minibus shuttle service to FMP from the hotel for about 250bht/person which was very reasonable. It took about 45 min to get to Haad Rin by taxi, but it was no problem. Food in the restaurant could have been better.. Atleast the thai food.. Burgers were amazing for my taste! Landscapes from hotel and rooms were amazing, probably the best in koh Phangan! If ur not planning to rent a scooter or car, and still want to move around and see the island, I recommend not taking this hotel. But with scooter its very fun and easy+cheap to explore the island and go dine at other restaurants/beaches!

The Utopia Resort offers a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere with stunning views. Even though you're near several beaches, it's on a steep cliff so you definitely need transportation to go anywhere. Free shuttle service to some beaches, restaurants and shops is provided several times a day. The internet is very unreliable and drops all the time. Somebody who knows what they're doing should have a good look at the Internet setup. In the room there's an overpriced minibar so better get your own stock of Singha and water. The restaurant offers great food for reasonable prices and has incredible views! A path goes down to the sea where you can go snorkeling. A safe and a mosquito net would have been nice and useful additions to the room, something to consider. Anyway, I had a fantastic and relaxing stay and booked an additional 5 nights. Thanks to the crew for a good time!

Stayed in the delux sea view bungalow and loved it! What a view. Staff here is amazing! Friendly and helpful. The restaurant has great food and a decent morning breakfast buffet that was included in the price. Nice pool. We picked this particular place because we did not want to be downtown where it is noisier, esp. during full moon, and because of the views. You definitely need to rent a scooter or car however so you can explore the island and Utopia is a bit secluded. If not they always have a taxi available. The front office is very friendly and helpful when planning excursions. Would absolutely stay here again! Loved it!

Great staff, beautiful location, wonderful stay!”

We were on our honeymoon and wanted to find a nice quiet place to stay. The resort is on the quiet part of the island, which was a good thing because we happened to arrive for the full moon party and the island gets crowded with young party people. The staff was the most friendly staff I have ever met. Word of advice, let the resort know when you are coming and they will provide complimentary transportation from and to the pier. Taxi drivers will try to take advantage of you. Resort also provides with transportation to and from Mae Head beach daily

We loved our stay in Utopia Resort!!! View from restaurant and pool is stunning. It's on the steepy hill, but hotel provide shuttle to three beaches twice a day. Staff is lovely, food is very nice and location is nice and secluded. We would happily stay there again!

Fabulous value hotel”

Have been going here for 11 years and love it. Hotel has one of the best views in Phangan. Staff are really good and food has improved greatly over the years. Do bear in mind that it is on a hilltop so do not expect to walk to the beach - hire a scooter and you'll be fine.

Best hotel I stayed at in SE asia”

We booked 5 days at the resort but I wish we would have stayed there for our last 3 days as well instead of changing hotels (we moved somewhere a bit closer to fullmoon party). The location is pretty remote so if you are wanting to be in the action this is not the place for you. The resort was very well kept, the restaurant had good food and was well priced, and the staff were amazing! The only issue we had was trying to keep the room clean with all the bugs, being in the middle of a jungle you kind of expect that though, not really much you can do. They have a nice shuttle service that will take you to 3 different beaches in the area as well as pick you up. The swimming pool was so refreshing, the water was nice and cool and the view was amazing, and they give you complimentary towels. You also get complimentary waters every day in your room. Amazing, relaxing week!! We will be back for sure!!

Lovely resort with friendly staff”

we had a great 2 nights at utopia resort. when we arrived we were upgraded to a nicer room foc. the staff are really friendly and spoke good english. free taxi service to the next couple of beaches and also free internet was so handy. saved us alot of money. lovely pool overlooking the sea. would deffinatly stay here again and recomend to anyone

Utopia exceeded our expectations, for the price, the quality can't be beat. The staff is so helpful, the restaurant cheap and delicious, and the room had a spectacular view! I would highly recommend this spot!

I lost my money in the resort ”

Bad location,Its too far away from all the places of Phangan, we need to take the taxi of their resort to the full moon party or other place at south , to and fro about 1000B or more for per person,otherwise, we have to eat or entertain in their hotel whole day, the food is also more expensive than other restaurants, the most important thing is that i have lost my money at there, but when i called the staff, they said no one entered my room when we stayed there and refused to show me the survillance video ,you can judge by yourself, but i wish you have a good trip.

Relaxing stay with stunning view”

It's a bit mess with pier shuttle due to my ferry was late. Driver was on the way back to resort while I reached. However, they tried to return and pick me up but unfortunately failed to get consent from passenger on the van. Thus we need to get taxi there and waste the one way free shuttle. All annoying was gone once we reached there. Nice environment and friendly welcome us . There is shuttle to FMP provided by hotel around250b. We went there around 8 and reach 8.45, then we took their second shuttle around 11pm to go back hotel. Driver as so friendly and drop us to 711 while on the way back. We stayed at mountain view resort due to there is wifi available there. But our room can't connect with the wifi. Weak wifi signal there. So don't expected much for room wifi if you stayed there. Room is big but a bit old..low volume of water for shower rain. Otherwise are ok..you get what you pay..the view from the pool and restaurant was so so so perfect...laying on the pool bed, listening song, sightseeing the sea view..strong wind there..much relaxing than you expected.

The location is beautiful. Ok, it a little bit out of the main hustle and bustle but I enjoyed driving the island anyway. The staff are approachable, professional and courteous. At no time did I not feel welcome there. I cannot recommend Utopia highly enough. And check out the sunsets at nearby 360 bar. A 3 minute walk away.

Perfect for those seeking a quieter side of Phangan. They hooked us up with Scuba, Ang Thong, and anything else we could've wanted.

Incredible View and Much More”

this was by far one of the best places that we stayed in thailand. the staff was friendly and helpful and the accommodations were excellent. the room was clean and large. it even had two floors - it was more of a little apartment than a room. the restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced. i would definitely recommend this resort to travellers.

Very good”

Spectaculars views and relaxing atmosphere. However, it was located mountain top, which means you need transport to get around. I personally found this no problem, because I was happy to hire a bike from the hotel for about AU $10.00 per day. There were also regular shuttles to the beach. Mae Haad Beach and other nearby beaches are beautiful.
