Fantastic service/standards”

I stayed here for three nights during the Full Moon Festival, so the area hotel prices in Koh Phangan were all extremely inflated at this time. However, the quality of the room matched the hotel's 3 star rating, not "Thailand 3 star" but actual clean rooms that had no major building issues, mosquito infestations, hot/cold water problems, etc. The room seemed newly built, two bottles of water received free daily, air conditioning actually cooled the room, and the WiFi worked extremely well in my room on the top/3rd floor). As for party/street noise, I heard none, though my room faced the back side away from the street. With the room's great blackout curtains and comfy beds, I slept well even in the middle of the party scene. I would stay here again, even at the higher peak prices.

Very nice, new hotel. Near to haad rin beach - one of the best on Phangan. Clear rooms, great pool.

I always use this hotel”

When I get to Koh Pangang, I always stay at the hotel. Because price is very cheap and room is also very clean. There are pool, gym and balcony at the hotel. Receptionists are very friendly. If you want to go out to some beaches, I strongly recommend that you rent a motorbike during your stay. It's very quiet at night around the hotel. We can also go out to restaurants and bars on foot from the hotel. but it should be better for us if we rent the motorbike. As there is a travel agency just in front of the hotel, we can book all tickets of public transportations in the island. Boss of the agency is very nice guy to help you about everything.

Last minute life saver”

Booked into pearl very last minute on NYE after our original hotel cancelled on us. Rooms clean and safe, 5 minute walk from full moon, staff helpful with printing tickets and booking taxis. Didn’t use pool/facilities as only there 12 hours but room was perfect - most powerful shower from whole Thailand trip! Would stay again. Things to note - AC took a while to kick in, reception take 1000baht deposit on arrival. Neither points effected our stay.

Not much to look at from the outside, but lovely rooms”

We came to this hotel for the Full Moon Party and wanted to be a bit further away from the beach so there would not be as much noise. This hotel was one of the last ones available, so we just immediately booked it. From the outside the hotel doesn't look like much and on one side of the hotel they have dorms. The room; however, was very nice. The staff at the Pearl were great and we enjoyed our time there.

Clean, safe, fun and great location”

Comfortable beds, clean rooms and hostel. Quite close to the centre of Haad Rin and all the bars and restaurants. 5 minute walk to the beach where the Full Moon Party is held, but unlike others this hostel is not one of the party hostels, which gave us peace of mind knowing our things were safe. Lockers provided in the rooms. AC in the rooms too strong though, it was way too cold to sleep at night. Nice and helpful staff. A little pricy but worth it for a few nights... Definitely recommended!

stayed 12 nights & staff were excellent with great English. Reception & cleaning staff were genuinely happy with a smile & polite word helping when needed; boat tickets, half moon party tickets, transport, laundry & was same or cheaper than doing myself. The hotel is exceptionally clean throughout . amazing cleaning team like worker ants!! Decent sized clean pool where most rooms look over. decent size, good enough to do lengths, with good amount of sun. also a well equipped gym which isn't listed in Agoda, was a nice surprise. free weights, cables, bench press, muilti gym. no cardio stuff , but perfect for me. bed linen & towels changed daily - although I think they should do a more "environmental, voluntary way" felt a bit guilty having 12 sets of everything in my stay. only negative is they need balcony furniture & you sometimes see guests in rooms opposite unless you close curtains. not the best for naked chillaxing

BE CAREFUL OF YOUR MONEY!!!”

The cleaner stole the money, so be careful !!!!! It was in the safe and only 1 time out of the safe, the cleaner didn’t work in the room they only come in and took the money. The hotel is one of the nicest at Haad Rin, but this experience make me so angry!

Great only loud music at pool during the day”

All in all a very nice Hotel, slightly above average priced but the rooms are great, clean, staff is really really friendly. Only that music is played at the pool until about 8pm is not necessary but ok

Clean, close to the beach, but loud”

My stay at the Pearl was interesting to say the least. Very nice for a hostel, seems fairly new as well. Internet was very fast and there were plenty of washrooms/showers which was great! The only problem I had was the noise. Don't stay here if you want to get some sleep at any point during the night! The combination of the bars going all night long and having 13 other people in your room coming and going at all hours of the day and night keeps you from getting any sleep unless it's between about 7am and noon!

Exceptional Service and emanities”

The hotel is in walking distance from the port (Haadrin Port I think) No need to take a cab or anything. Check in was smooth. Only issue I had was the fact that we had to pay a deposit and it was not stated in the booking. The room was decently decorated. You have a view of the Pool from the balcony. The breakfast was great - Basic menu selection, fruit, coffee, tea, juice. There gym. Great drinks special at the bar. You can walk to the Full Moon party and other shops. Overall exceptional service and time spent.

Although pricey. It’s worth spending the money on. Super clean, a delicious breakfast is included, complimentary water every day, great location and the rooms were sparkling clean! They have a ping pong and beer pong table, a restaurant in the hotel and the staff are super friendly. They also do free transport to whatever harbour you need to catch your boat at!

Best hotel”

I was blown away when I walked in my room. Great value. Amazing room. Excellent pool. The staff was very pleasant. Location is nice because it was quiet in the evening but within walking distance to the madness. I was sad to leave! It was my 10th hotel of my trip and it was by far my favourite. Stay here! You won't regret it!

Love this hotel, great staff great location and the food was good as well. The pool and gym was very handy to have.The only small let down was the WiFi in the room was terrible but over all really really good hotel.

Happy with the experience”

Hotel was in a great location, you can catch a ferry transfer that drops you 200m from the hotel. Rooms were basic but very comfortable. Pool was clean and equipment in gym was in good order. All up quite happy but just think it was a bit expensive.

If you come for the fullmoon party，you can stay here.Good location on the HaadRin Beach！3 mins walkway to the beach and FamilyMall is just beside the hotel，you can get everything you want.Breakfast is good.The pool is small but clean.Stuff is nice and helpful.and You can rent a motobike just outside the hotel.

An enjoyable stay”

The first room that we had, on the ground floor, was clean and spacious. However, it was close to the bar and restaurant and we could hear the music playing loudly from there from 8 am. We asked to move to a higher level and the reception staff were very helpful in dealing with our request. The second room was also clean and spacious. Each day it was cleaned to a good standard. The pool area is very good and the gym is also a good facility.

I booked this hostel as a last minute backup to find accomodation for full moon party. The prices where a little high for a hostel, but otherwise it was very clean and i was happy there was lockers in the rooms. Beds were roomy and the wifi was fast. If your looking for a western style hostel for the full moon party which is clean and safe where you can meet people the Pearl is a good choice.
