Best view and best for challenge-lover couple”
We booked a chalet room where we need to walk through a beautiful rope bridge from the lobby to the chalet. We missed the canopy walk at Poring because its closed at 4 pm but then we saw the rope bridge and feel grateful that we can make up for the canopy walk that we missed. The hike to chalet no. 9 is quiet tiring but the view is great up there as we requested for Kinabalu mountain view XD. I cant blame them for giving me a far chalet because I requested for the view haha. Its okay since we love challenges. Talking about water pressure, the chalet water pressure is okay even if it is situated up there. I read a lot of bad review on other hotel and homestays about water shortage and gravel road, thankfully this hotel doesnt have those issues. Btw, please put an extra towel just incase we need one. I dont want to trouble the hotel staff to hike up to the chalet just to hand it. And the cups are different, we want to use it in a photoshoot but nevermind.

All-time Favourite Hotel in Kundasang”
Stayed more than 4 times in a year at this hotel as its have lift ( recommended for older people ), nice view, hot shower, fast check-in & check-out, in room iron & iron board, & no interruption in water supply (dissapointed when book other hotel & chalet before this as somestimes kundasang has problem with water supply)..this time so surprised to get honeymoon decoration done by hotel...thanks...recommended & definitely will come again!

it was a wonderful place to stay. location was great. my only issue was the lack of a fan. i know the place is naturally cold but i'm the type of person that has to have some sort of wind be it by fan or air cond. opening the windows helped me in this matter.

- Remember to wake up early to get a clear view of Mt. Kinabalu before the cloud starting to come in, we still managed to catch ours before 8am (There is an extended viewing platform behind the grass field at ground floor). - No window grill is one big reason we kept the windows shut, but I guess everyone will keep the windows shut to stay warm, still, a safety hazard especially those travelling with children (We stayed at sixth floor). - Choice of food menu is sufficient and reasonably priced and of generous quantity. - Hair on bed sheet, but cleanliness is generally acceptable. - Perkasa hotel is a government run facilities after all, with the given quality and pricing, quite commendable and will return to stay. (may be chalet this time)

THE BEST LOCATION, NEED MAINTENANCE”
We stay at one of the lodge where you need to go across hanging bridge and climb stairs to reach our room. Due to the high altitude and very cold weather, it is hard to breathe. I will not recommend it to older people or people with breathing difficulty. However, our room have one of the best view of the mountain. Woking up to the view of mount kinabalu was so nice. The lodge have private balcony/common area where you can hang out or Bbq at night. However, the facilities were poorly maintain hence it become very dangerous especially for kids to roam around. Room were okey, no fan/aircond/heater all natural ventilation. Might be too cold / hot for some. TV was provided but it was such an old one and its faulty. When we arrived, from all the lodge i think only 3 lodge are occupied. It becomes a bit scary at night when the strong wind and rain came. I still would totally recommend anyone to come here for the view, location and the privacy they offer.
