Good hostel for short stay travellers ”

You get what you pay for with this hostel. This is not a hotel, so don't expect room service, TV in your room,or other facilities.Location is good, easy to find, near a Metro, but noisy. That's Paris for you. Entrance is through a bar, no lift or escalator, narrow staircase to rooms, so if you can't manage stairs, reconsider. My room was on 6th floor, very small room, painted purple, no table or chair, small shower. Bed linen & towels clean, but I got an allergic reaction from something in Paris, maybe not in hostel, but I came out in painful, itchy red blocthes. Welcome to Paris. Staff were friendly, & spoke English. Room had a card to unlock door, so security ok. Paris is expensive, & affordable rooms are hard to find, and book up in advance, so consider this hostel if you are on a budget, or last minute traveller, but bear in mind the stairs, & small room size.

To be fair it's at a good location near Metro Anvers, the room is clean. But that's it. First of all, after a 13 hours flight i reach the hostel at about 6pm, exhausted. The staff told me my bed will only be ready by 10 or 11 o'clock. I could not believe my ears and i double confirmed: 10 or 11 PM? He said yeah, it cannot be 10am tomorrow morning. Well.... don't you think i know that? Anyway, I follow his suggestion, keep my backpack at the storage room and hang out at city center, only got back to the hostel at midnight. Luckily, this time the bed is waiting for me. But it's damn awkward to take shower in the room as the shower cubicle face directly the beds(well about half a meter away). Since it's only shower cubicle you can't lock the door and my only roommate is a guy. I believe he feel awkward when i was taking shower too... imagine you are lying on a bed which is 50 cm away from a half transparent shower cubicle where a female stranger is taking shower....... the check out time is 10am so technically i paid full price for 1 day and only use the room for 10 hours. I would love to say it's ok if you just want to sleep but thinking about the shower cubicle, nah.. nevermind there are more better choice in Paris. Will not recommend nor come back again.

it was better than previous reviews suggested, thank god no bed bugs, the sheets were very good quality, great to have only 3 beds in the room, staff serious but nice, traffic and noise not excessive at all, road below is a single carrigeway, good view towards canal

Manageable”

I thought this hostel was so fun! It's definitley a place for younger people who just need a place to sleep, but none the less I met a lot of cool people thanks to the bar downstairs! If you're looking for a place to put your stuff down this is the perfect choice. I came with my girlfriends and we stayed in a private 3 bedroom. Although we slept above the sheets (personal choice) it was a decent nights rest and like I said, we just need a place to put our bags down. Conveniently located near the metro, this place is the best destination for a quick stop in paris

Friendly staff, make you feel at home...”

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. We are able to check in early into our room eventhough it was not time yet. Our flight was early and we were very tired. So it is a relief to be able to check in early to rest for a while before going for sightseeing. When we check out, we are able to leave our luggage at the hotel to go for the last round of the city before leaving for the airport. Staff were helpful and considerate.

I love this place. You can cook, you meet people, they help you a lot to discover paris and it is really not expensive for paris.

very small rooms and showerooms. but you paid what you get:) The location is good. Public transport is nearby. It’s a good deal for a backpacker if you aren’t ask too much but for a place to stay, then this is the one !

Pros - shower in rooms, good kitchen, close to metro, Usb points next to your bunker, lockers in rooms and storage area downstairs Cons- bunk beds bit noisy when someone else moves, not enough head space, dirty sheets in corridors

good location near a metro line. Excellent for exercise - 5 flights up. decent restaurants near bye. It's what you pay for, centre of Paris, backpacker, single room. A place to sleep

A stay for Basic-need”

If you stay at the room of the 2nd floor, it can be noisy because of the music from the bar at ground floor. However, in this price, it worthy for this hostel's convenience.

So far so good ”

1. Locate in district 10, but not as dangerous as the web said, you just need to be alert. 2. The bathroom window has no cover, so you can actually say hi to the people walking by on street, when you are naked. 3. Bar running at late night on Friday, if you don't wish to join and want to have a good sleep, better bring a earplug, which floor you locates doesn't matter, cause the sounds are transmitted through the walls. 4. Locates just next to fire station so the alarm of the cars keep ringing all night, Paris people need help. 5. Nice river side view, best during sunrise. 6. They don't have lift, and the stairs are super narrow, better stay without a large suitcase otherwise it is easily to fall down when you carry it up and down 7. Staff are nice, thank you.

Cramp room but near to Jaures train station”

We arrived on 12 March and checked out on 17 March. The hostel is small but within close proximity to Jaures train station. Great for traveling via metro or rer. The hostel rooms were really small with each room being able to host a number of people. My room had 14 beds. 3 triple decker beds and 1 double decker bed. The room had only one washroom which meant you had to wait, unless you come back when everyone's gone. Good for making friends and if you don't mind cramp living quarters for a couple of days, this hostel is actually okay.

Not really worth that price”

The location and staff were great, but this hostel is not very clean. My 3-person bedroom was extremely small.. Beds were really squeaky!! The shower was just a whole in a room, so you could only get a shower when nobody is inside. Toilets were also super small.

Uncomfortable with the upper bed!”

I dont really like the dorm! It is small room and many beds, the upper bed has small space with ceiling even you can sit on that!

A Good stay for a weekend”

Nice clerk, good shower A little dirty. The night audit must have more attention to open the door during the night. I arrived at 6 am and have to wait a little bit to open the door.

Staff is good but room too small and not clean. 24 hour hotel guess walk in and out, noisy in the night.
