Small but perfectly formed”

Stayed at the Pax Opera as a pitstop on a brief visit to Paris. V pleasantly surprised by the comfort and stylish décor of my room. The room was small (as pretty much all rooms in Paris hotels) but exceptionally clean and comfortable. There were high-quality baked goods on the breakfast buffet too.

Gem in a good location”

Hotel had everything necessary for a short trip in Paris. Ideally located with metro few steps away and restaurants and everything you needed in close vicinity. Staff was very professional and helpful. Rooms are small (like everywhere in Paris) but clean and comfortable. The photos shown of the room, in my opinion, reflect perfectly what to expect. Highly recommend.

good location and cosy room”

it is conveniently situated between gare du nord and opera, great for travellers taking the train from other parts of europe. opera is great for shopping! also walkable distances to other attractions like sacre coeur, moulin rouge, and lourve. staff at reception was super friendly and explained to us very detailedly on all the places we can go (you almost don't have to plan an itinerary beforehand).

It was downtown location which is close to lots of things. Metro station was only 3 mins away which is very nice, free wifi. it was located near opera, however it is not in opera, u need to take the metro or u can walk for about 15 mins. Staff are helpful, but u have to leave your key with them when u go out. but the price is worth it, as the location is good.

Nice location, easy to get around”

We choose Pax since its near the railway station Gare du Nord as we are traveling by train in Europe. Location is quite centralized and it really 2mins walk to metro, and 15mins to railway station, 15mins slow walk to Moulin Rouge, 15mins to Gallery Lafayette. Room are small like standard hotels in Paris. There is no free water, so we have to buy our own at the supermarket nearby. We found a few good restaurants nearby and very glad to stay in this hotel.

Clean hotel in a good location”

Pax was very central and enabled us to travel to other parts of Paris within relatively short time. It was also walking distance to Galleries. The hotel room we opted was pretty small (but that is pretty standard of most Parisian properties I suppose) but it was still large enough to fit 2 large suitcases. The toilet was on the hand q spacious. The bed was slightly lumpy but the hotel staff was generally pretty helpful and could speak good English. The neighbourhood is more of an artsy area but that also means it is safer as it is away from the main tourist traps/ areas.

Convenient and comfortable ”

It's our second visit to this hotel as we stayed on Wed & Thurs in Pax while Fri-Sun out of town. We left our luggage in the hotel storage and return on Mon for 1 more night. They were able to accommodate without extra charge. We can walk to Gare du Nord & L'est railway station, galleries Lafayette, moulin rouge. Metro and mini mart is within 2-3 mins

Close to Cadet metro station, grocery & pharmacy nearby. Very accommodating and knowledgeable receptionist. Free flowing welcome drinks at the lobby, we loved this as we are always thirsty after a long day of sightseeing in Paris.

Simple but pleasant hotel”

hotel staff were friendly and helpful. the hotel is located right next to cadet metro station so easy to get wherever you need. only 15 minutes walk to gare du nord and about 25 minutes walk to the louvre. the rooms aren't huge, but the furnishings are nice and it is clean and homely. only problem with my room was that it overlooked the street which turned out to be quite noisy (need to leave the window open a bit otherwise it's too stuffy). nice buffet breakfast.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”

hotel is great, especially the staffs, polite and helpful. the only point which i don't like was just the storage room located on the 1.5floor (means you have to walk up or walk down from 2floor), it's really terrible for a traveller with a heavy luggage, other than that? it is a very good hotel.

Although initially we were turned down the early check in which was previously confirmed by the hotel staff, the overall experience as regards the cleanliness, location and convenient facilities around the hotel made the stay quite pleasant.

about car parking”

we travelled by car for weekend to paris.hotel is good.room was clean.had a really good time.but i need to say a few things-dont believe website agoda about car parking.its no car parking space.even worse- you cant find a space next to hotel or on a street.hotel offered to leave at underground car park with a discount -not true.car park didnt take a it.so for 2 nights we paid 68 euros.

Very good location,near super market,ten mins can walk from eurostar station,2 mins from metro.15mins can walk to Lafayette.opear n big bus stop 5!It was very comfort n beautiful inside the room!

Good Location”

It was great because the location is good. Easy access to metro station and restaurant. However the room was so small for 3 person and the reception guy was not so friendly upon check in. We had arrive early and the reception informed that we only can check in at 1pm. I was waiting there is the waiting area and i have to keep going back to reception to ask whether the room is ready instead they will come to inform you.

Decor is a little tired but all of the important things needed are there: helpful friendly staff, clean, and comfortable bed

Lovely boutique hotel in good location”

It is a compact property. Lift is super small max capacity of 3 passengers and at best 1 passenger with big luggage. Though small, not overly crowded so my stay was comfortable and pleasant. Everything in the room works which is most important. All in a very pleasant stay!

The quality of the room does not fit the price.”

The rooms of the hotel need refreshing long ago. The breakfast is poor.
