I enjoyed my staying in parkview guest house! The place is calm and clean, so close to the bus station and Siti Khadijah Market. There owner and the staff are very kind and friendly, There are some chairs in the patio so you can chill out and socialize! Thank you again!

We felt the staff were quite unfriendly here, barely acknowledged us, it was like we were intruding in their home rather than being a guest. Breakfast was basic but that is pretty standard. Good location. I don't think we would stay here again (or in kota bharu for that matter)

Location close to many of the attractions and bus station. The dorm room was alright but the bed didn't "smell clean". Some vacuuming would be good as the large gaps between the floor tiles traps quite some dust/sand. The bathrooms were clean, some of the flush and shower head needed repair/replacement though. You can rent towel from the counter for RM2.

It's not far out from all the main attractions in Kota Baru like the Siti khatijah market, old grand palace , war museum, handicrafts museum, Islamic museum and other museums. It's near the bus terminal as well. No more busses to and from the airport. Only bus no.4 and the frequency is so much less now due to the Covid 19 pandemic. So your only alternative is grab or taxi. Very nice people in Kota Baru. The kelantanese, the nicest in the whole of Malaysia actually .

Pros: -Good location -Friendly staff -Good connection (wifi) Cons: -Lack of cleanliness (ex: dorm's sink wasn't cleaned when I came/ hair on the floor) -No hot water (water heater doesn't work). -No towel/ no blanket provided Overall, satisfactory for the affordable price but could be better.

Quite Bad Experience”
Had a one night stay here. Everything else was decent enough. But there was literally no water at all at that night !! My wife was having a shower when suddenly the water stops running. She had to rinse her body with mineral water that we brought. Not sure what happened but it stayed like that until the morning. Next thing is about the security. We checked in around 9pm and went out to have some shopping at Wakaf Che Yeh. When we came back to the Guest House at 1am, the door was locked, and the visitors were not provided with the key for it. So we had to call the staff. What will happen if our phone ran out of batteries? We should sleep outside? And what would happen if anything bad happens, lets just say the guest house catches fire. All visitors will trap inside FFS. Please look into this and make improvements. Otherwise, staff was great and polite. Facilities were decent enough for the price.

This hotel is not suitable for family with young children. Share Bathroom is not good for me n family. It is suitable for 1 person with partner. For example for only backpackers. Aircond is OK but pillow n maitress is not good for me n family because its very old n smelly. They also don't change sheet of pillow n maitress. Next time they must upgrade facilities of this hotel because customer pay a money for their convience n comfortable.

Location is great in the centre of Kota Bharu. Walking distance to all the museum n tourist attraction. The staff really informative & helpful. The room clean and the toilet/shower always clean. Wifi ok. Aircond and fan ok. Have free coffee/tea. Value for money👍🏼

Very friendly staff. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Free toast and kaya jam in the morning. No hot showers, but toiletries were provided. Free water and towels also. Close to cheap local food. Not a whole lot to do for backpackers in Kota Bharu, but this was a nice and relaxing place to stay.

With just RM40 per night, I got nice bedroom, clean toilet, excellent wifi, healthy breakfast & supper, friendly staff, inside & outside slippers, thick towel, astro tv, comfort blanket, good air conditioner, ironing facility. Positive: Easy to find, ample parking spaces in front of the hotel, friendly staff, water dispenser, clean room and surrounding, quiet place Negative: The toilet is a little bit rundown, 'squeaky' bed, no table or chairs in the room to put belongings- have to put on the floor, tv in our room is not working Overall: It was ok, will consider staying here again if we're back in Kota Bharu.
