Paradise in Ha Long Bay”

We booked our Ha Long Bay escapades from the Philippines and could not have been more delighted. Everything were just perfect. Topnotch!”

First hotel in our Hanoi tour and it had set the bar high. I can actually say that it’s the best hotel we’ve stayed at. We have availed the stay with free breakfast. This is a must! Breakfast is five star! Hands down a great way to start your day. We stayed in Paradise Suites for two nights and we came here straight from the airport. We were lucky enough that there is an available room so we were able to check-in early but we just paid the succeeding fees which was okay as it came with a free breakfast already. The room was very clean and big. You just have to ask the lobby for room service if you want to have your room cleaned. The Paradise Suites Hotel offers free transfers to the beach with free bottled water and beach towels. They will drop you off and will pick you up on your preferred time. They also have the Halong Bay Day Cruise option if you are looking for one, although we have not availed this. The staff here are very kind and accommodating too! Very great customer service. And lastly, the location is near all the restaurants and the Harbour. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel for you stay in when you’ll be exploring Tuan Chau Island. We will come back for sure. Such an excellent stay!

Exceptional”

This was one of the best hotels that we stayed during our 3-week trip in Vietnam. We stayed there for the convenient access to the 1-day cruises. It's too bad Tuan Chau island does not have much happening. Other than that, the hotel is excellent, so is food and service. The only surprise is that the hotel's private beach and pool is very far away. You will need to borrow the free bicycle to get there. The pool is lovely except that the surrounding hotels are still under construction. You just have to learn to ignore it. The beach, on the other hand, is less impressive to swim in. It's just nice for picture taking since you can see the Ha Long Bay in the background.

Great Boutique Hotel in Halong Bay!”

We spent two nights at Halong Paradise Suites Hotel. It was a fabulous experience. Our room was large, clean and really sumptuous with dark wood furniture, comfortable bedding (the biggest bed size I have enjoyed!), fluffy towels, long velvet curtains, two way air-conditioning, huge luxurious ensuite bathroom … The hotel staff was exceptionally wonderful from the guy who opened the door at the hotel when we arrived, to the receptionist at check-in, to the very capable manager who always seems to be on standby; they were all very helpful and made our stay very pleasant. When we departed, they all came to the door to send us off! It all felt very personal and friendly. Moreover, all the staff seems to have a great command of the English language, so there was no trouble with communication. Breakfast was excellent! There was a variety of western and Vietnamese food available. We love the fresh fruit juice and Pho very much. The location of the Halong Paradise Suites Hotel was ideal, just within walking distance to the marina for cruising Halong Bay! After all, we enjoyed out stay a lot and will be here again the next time we come to Halong.

Slightly older backpacker solo traveller review”

Fantastic hotel. I booked this in a hurry on my travels through Vietnam and was expecting something quite different. I wasn't really after super luxury as I was looking for something unique and authentic an d I find posh hotels a little bit over the top for my tastes. However I made the best of it and enjoyed the luxury of a fantastic bed and huge shower. The area is quiet at the moment as work is still on going on Tuan Chau Island and I dare say this will change going into 2016. If there is anyone looking at this that is on a lengthy travel then if you spent some days on Cat ba island doing the full on backpackers drinking and exploring thing then this could be a great place to stay afterwards as you could chill out for one night have a fantastic shower and a great sleep in a huge bed. It also right next to the ferry port to Cat Ba so nice and handy.

New hotel ”

Stayed for 1 night after exploring Halong Bay. Nothing much to do on the island. Hotel organised some tours but price is on the high side. Would not recommend for long stay since there’s nothing much to do. No Uber & limited grab driver. Mainly by taxi if wanna travel to Halong City. Hotel - Hotel is new with nice room. The best on the island. - 5-10 minutes walk to the pier/ harbour - nearby restaurant 1958 is decent & affordable - breakfast is decent but not impressive - can use the bikes for free but there’s nothing much to explore in Tuan Chau island. Everywhere is under construction. Many hotels with no entertainment establishments. Staff - generally friendly - some are not as professional as others

Resort-like luxury hotel”

This hotel is a luxury hotel located just 2mins walk from the newly developed Tuan Chau Marina from which all Ha Long Bay cruises now depart. It has large rooms with spacious ensuites to make you feel very comfortable after a day of touring or cruising. Our room was well appointed with a huge bed and offered all the usual amenities incl hairdryer, aircon and free wifi. Breakfast is served in a ground floor restaurant opposite the hotel. It is a buffet, offers a large selection and caters for the asian and western palate, so much so that you may face the difficult choice of figuring out what you want to eat. The location feels like a resort complex which is still being developed. Not many of the commercial spaces around the hotel have been taken up yet and there are limited number of restos or bars around the marina. I am sure that will change within a year.

great hotel. Must stay before cruise ”

My family stay here before the cruise the next day. The hotel drove us to the warf by their electric car and pick us up when we came back, even we did not go with Paradise cruise. They even let us leave our car at the hotel for free. Great staff attitude. We love everything about this hotel. Highly revommend if you stay at Tuan Chau island.

Excellent”

Hotel was amazing, lovely rooms with high quality furnishings. Great bathrooms. Helpful staff. Tuan Chau itself was bizarre... kind of like a giant ghost town with very little open. It seems like everything here stalled in the building phase. There are only a couple of options for bars/restaurants in the area. The old fading Disney statues and half built resorts is a bit creepy! The hotel recommended taking a taxi to Halong city, which was a good idea and not too expensive. If you are looking for a nice hotel somewhere quiet on your travels through Vietnam Paradise Suites would be perfect...however if you want to party a bit more and experience the culture I would stay in Halong or Cat Ba.

Enjoyed the Hotel”

Our room was on the Serviced Residence part of the hotel. The room space was just right for my daughter and I and the room was very comfortable for the value of money spent. The Staff was excellent in helping with cruise booking and transportation back to Hanoi. Breakfast had variety of delicious buffet. The hotel has 3 parts: The Paradise Suite, The Paradise Trend and the Service Residence. The restaurant is across the Paradise Suite. The distance is short between the parts of the hotels and restaurant. The staff and hotel comfort made our stay at Halong Bay very nice. We would surely stay at the hotel when we come to Halong Bay again.

Luxurious accommodations, but...middle of nowhere.”

Paradise Suites is a new hotel that is on an island away from the main strip of Halong city. I didn't think much of this, as cab rides are not terribly expensive, and in my experience, I tend to appreciate staying away from noisy city centers. However, I didn't realize that Paradise Suites is located on an uninhabited island. There are sign advertising mega resorts and beaches, and in the next five years, this place might become the center of a mecca resort, but right now - there is nothing around. Literally. There are huge, empty condominiums. There is one, incredibly empty restaurant nearby. But, other than that - nothing. Make sure you plan your day with boat trips and ways to explore Halong Bay, because there's no way you can spend an afternoon wandering around enjoying an afternoon stroll. Location aside, the hotel is incredibly comfortable. The hotel rooms are luxurious, spacious, and the decor is tasteful and elegant. The bed was luxurious and large, the bathroom is clean and wonderful, and the hotel even provides silk robes and silk slippers. It's truly a 5 star experience. I tend to appreciate anonymity at whatever hotel I was staying at, and the hotel is so new that there weren't many people staying here. We often had breakfast by ourselves and had 4-5 people serve on us (waitresses, bartenders, hotel hostesses), which can get a bit awkward. I could also do without the live singing during dinner, but that's just my personal preference.

The most beautiful luxury hotel in Halong”

I stayed at Pardaise Suites Hotel for only one night but the experience was so wonderful! The hotel design and decor' is very beautiful. The hotel terrace bar outside was so impressive and when I came in, I found it luxurious in every aspect from facilities to customer services and proffesional staff. My room is quite large with nice view to the river, comfortable bedding and splendid bathroom. During the night, I couldn't leave the restaurant and bar because it was so fantastic with wonderful live music, romantic lighting, delicious food and a wide selection of drink. Surely I will come back to Paradise Suites Hotel for my honeymoon this year.

Beautiful Hotel with professional staff”

We stayed 2 nights seeking relax and we definitely found it. Despite the location (nice but lonely), the hotel is at a walking distance from the 3-4 beach bars/restaurant currently open in Tuan Chau (a lot more to come in the next years). The Room was not too big but it could accommodate the 4 of us (1 extra bed and 1 baby cot). Nicely furnished, clean and with a huge very king size bed. The Pool is a bit far, but just ask the reception and in few minutes a caddy will bring you there. Nice pool nearby the beach (absolutely desert, not mush where to swim, but with shower!). Pity that everywhere around was under construction (anyway quite). Breakfast was great the first morning (in the smaller restaurant) but a bit too crowded the second time (just opposite the hotel). BayChai/night market/kids playground/cinema is 100kVND away (worth a visit) and HaLong abt double price. Overall good value for money and nice to spend a long weekend in (even if you don't go for a boat trip).

Value for money and nice clean hotel with spacious rooms”

I loved the room and service was great . The area of hotel is just developing so don't expect too many eateries or shops apart from those of the hotel. It's walking distance to the tuan chau bay one of the jettys to halong bay cruises

Excellent service ”

We stayed at Paradise Suites for one night and took their half day cruise. All were excellent, particularly their staff. They even voluntarily offered us late check out so that we can bath before returning back to Hanoi. The staff of the cruise ship offered to carry our bag for us during cave visit. The driver of private transfer agreed to our request to a short tour of town on the way back to Hanoi. Staff of hotel, cruise, restaurant, and driver of private transfer are all excellent. The restaurant 1958 owned by the hotel offers great food for great value. I'd like to thanks all staff of Paradise Group. Highly recommended.

Exceptional”

This hotel was gorgeous. We stayed during the off season, so the cost was great. However, because the hotel is in a tourist only area, there was very little to do outside of get on a boat to cruise the bay. They were doing construction and offered us an upgrade to a suite for the inconvenience (which there wasn’t, we never saw construction), as well as free breakfast, which was great. If you are planning on take a cruise around Ha Long and only need a hotel for a night, I’d definitely recommend staying here. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and it’s right at the end of the pier, if you want to catch a ferry to Cat Ba.

Even though the hotel is situated out of main Halong bay city on Taun Chau island which by itself was fairly desolate,the hotel itself is very comfortable and has a very quaint atmosphere Rooms are well appointed and comfortable and food especially in the 1958 restaurant is great (though a bit pricey compared to Hanoi/Saigon) They arrange their own Paradise tours to Halong bay/Catba island etc and are great experiences They have a pool and b Ach but at their still under construction other Propert around 1.5 km away where they take you by buggy Overall great !!

Just amazing.. Great location. 5min walk to Tua chau port for cruises. Rooms are very big and with luxury furniture. Hotel looks very new. Price looks little bit high as compare to other hotels in vietnam but halong bay has very limited hotels so no options But dont h p1 still worth it

Luxurious rooms. Great staff especially Steph who gave us recommendations. Breakfast buffet is varied and good. Dinner is hit or miss. Pool area is very nice. Didn't mind the remoteness of Tuan Chau. Great place to relax.
