Beautiful Tropical Setting”
The Pan Kled Villa Eco Resort is also called Buffalo Hill Guest House. If using Google Map to find it, be sure to use Buffalo Hill Guest House. There is also a sign on one of the entry streets that eventually gets you to the hotel that lists Buffalo Hill Guest House on it though it also has Pan Kled Villa on it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is quite clean as is the bathroom. There is not much space in the villas that have two single beds, but it is sufficient for two people. The airconditioner works very well though if you want the bathroom cool, too, you need to put the little stool that is furnished in the bedroom against the bathroom door to hold it open. It does not get in the way as it can be pushed to the edge of the door. The beds are very comfortable and the bed cover as well as pillows are very soft. The swimming pool and pool courtyard are fabulous! Breakfasts are adequate, but the setting is divine!

Very relaxing resort”
Location is great only for those with own vehicles. Away from town, but this is also the beauty of it...minimum traffic noise. Little individual chalets built amidst the lovely tropical forest setting, though not large but it felt so tranquil here. All staff were awesomely friendly and helpful. Especially receptionists View, Janet and...the 3rd long haired helpful lady..sorry I forgot your name. Breakfast was lovely with super thoughtful Saeco coffee and probably first in the world, resort lovingly offered delicious thick toast!! Pork porridge and fried rice were really yummy! Interior, rooms have been renovated yet exterior has that rustic feel. Don't be put off by resort style, this Pan Kled Villa Eco set immaculate standard in room cleanliness. Swimming pool was a good size. This resort is a gem, keep it up!!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT !”
I traveled Thailand for 2 months, Pan Kled was the final resort I stayed at prior to flying home and I could not have chosen a more perfect environment to cap off an awesome trip! The front desk staff are extremely accommodating, they helped me rent a motorbike, provided me all I asked for, and were very happy at all times (this says so much about a resort!). I stayed in one of the bungalows, it was perfect size and the bed was so comfy. Relaxing on your own deck at end of day after using the huge beautiful pool was nice too. I want to extend a very special thank you to Mr. Ratikorn (Pond), a young man on their staff, and Miss Wie from front desk. Miss Wei knew I loved one of their authentic decorations, so over the 4 days I was at Pan Kled she arranged with Mr Pond to hand make me number of them. All so unique and beautiful! I appreciate this gesture from the both of them SO MUCH. The Buffalos will be living in my garden in Canada, with some very good memories attached. Thank y

I regularly travel to Thailand ... and always visit Chiang Rai. This is the best place in town. Shhh ... the secret is out. However, if you want to be in the thick of the action in town, you will need to sort out transport. Chiang Rai big bike rentals are my prime choice for vehicle rental. Thanks all at Pan Kled

Loved pan kled”
We had a great few days although the size of the room we originally book was way too small for a stay of more than 1 or 2 evenings. We upsized and were happy to pay the difference. The food was very good and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Mit. We were able to hire a bike directly from pan kled so everything was accessable for us. Rather special and different oasis.

Very nice villas in a quiet place of Chiang rai”
The resort is made of small villas 4 km from the center of Chiang rai. There are 2 types of villas, we god the smaller ones 16m2 because they were the only ones available. The villa has a small terace 3m2 with one chair and is very nice! The villas have a lot of vegetation around and when it rains (it is mostly raining every day in january) sleeping is really relaxing. The temperature is around 20-22 degrees in the room and it is pleasant to sleep with the window open, beware of geckos! The room is pretty small, if you have a big luggage and keep it open on the floor there will be very little place to walk around the bed. The bathroom has towels and showergel, hot water at all times. There is breakfast availabe but a little poor 3 different fruits, butter jam and omlette. Very nice place, stayed only 2 nights. The disadvantage is that it is a little far from the center, not walking distance and you need to take a tuk tuk or rent a scuter. But the place is worth because of the vegetation and having a bungalow to yourself! Uber is cheaper than tuk tuk here Would go again for a relaxing vacation!

We enjoyed a 2-night stay at Pan Kled after spending some time in the mountain, very nice and pleasant place, with swimming pool, breakfast is fresh and good, within walking distance you get to see the local neighborhood, and yet it's reasonable distance from the center of town. All in all, it's a wonderful experience.

Cute villas and awesome staff!”
We booked one night and ended up staying for 3! The staff was amazing and always helped us out when we were looking for information or needed transportation. The included breakfast was pretty good and the food at the restaurant was good too. The villas are cute and the beds are SO COMFORTABLE which has been hard to come by in south east Asia! Air conditioning worked and the rooms were clean and had everything you needed. Loved Chiang Rai and this hotel would be my first choice should we return!

Relaxing Escape”
We came from Chiang Mai after the busy Loy Krathong & it was a nice place to decompress. Each room was a detached adorable bungalow in a garden oasis. The pool was also exceptional. Great breakfast, although it was the same two options every morning. The staff was also very friendly but some spoke very little English so at times it was a little harder to communicate what we needed, for example, reserving motor bikes and bicycles. It caused confusion and they gave away our reservation to another guest, frustrated we had to go into town which cost us more money. You must take a tuk tuk or taxi into town, about 8 - 10 min. Also, the bathroom in our bungalow was a bit small and water pressure was horrible. We ended up showering in the showers near the pool area. Otherwise, the pros outweighed the cons because I would stay again if visiting Chiang Rai.

This place is amazing! If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of even a small city, this is the place to go! Don't go here expecting to have a lively hotel, rather it is a quaint and quiet eco-resort. The staff who worked here were the most pleasant hotel staff we came across in all of Thailand. They were so eager to help and to learn more about us as their guests. The grounds are amazing, the food was delicious and the people were so pleasant!

The staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating. Reminded me of the Highlands Inn, Carmel by the Sea in Chiang Rai. Only a $2 taxi from city center. Dinner was outstanding. Well kept secret.

Charming bungalows”
I stayed there for just 1 night on my traveling around Chiang Rai and I liked it very much. All accommodations are in wooden bungalows with ac and fan and bathroom. Mattress was very soft and comfortable. Surroundings beautiful and quiet a d I didn’t see any insect inside the house. Breakfast coffee out of a coffee machine is a plus. I would definitely come back to this hotel and would recommend it to my customers and friends.

The hotel is very cute and the staff was amazing, very helpful! We totally recommend it! Perhaps the only litle negative point is the location, need for tuk tuk or motorbike rental to visit Chiang Rai (although is just a few minutes to the center).

Lovely place to stay”
The cabins were lovely. Well appointed and very clean, with enough space for an extra bed which we needed for our son. Breakfast was nice enough too. If you did not have a car you may struggle with the location, but it’s just a 5 minute drive to the centre of Chiang Rai. They are currently building a large swimmer by pool, which looks like it will be a very good addition.

Relaxing and quiet”
This is my first time to Chiang Rai. I found this hotel to be good. The rooms are small, but they are comfortable and it is clean. Very quiet location, and is only a 5min drive to all the restaurants and areas to shop and explore. The hotel is still has some construction around the pool area, The breakfast needs improving, with it only providing 2 options. Besides toast, coffee and tea. Plus some fruit. I would stay again, when I come back to Chiang Rai.
