My bungalow was set amongst large, old palm trees which gave off a resonance to the past. The friendly owner basically gave me the keys & left me alone. This is not a resort where you can call room service for a cocktail. This is for the traveller who enjoys being surrounded by nature. I loved my stay here. I seriously miss the owls. You don’t have anyone in your face. It’s quiet, peaceful & the surrounding countryside is beautiful. Not far out of the town but well & truly far enough to feel like you’re on your own & can absolutely relax. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys peace & quiet & nature. Nothing quite like waking up to the sounds of owls communicating with each other in the old palm grove. Beautiful waterfall just up the road. I had a tear in my eye when I eventually had to leave.
