Lovely hotel in a very quiet area.”

i travel to cebu from bohol quite a lot and always stay at palazzo pensionne. i usually just have a standard room which is just fine. but my last visit i was upgraded to a delux room and it was in their new extension. the large bedroom was excellent with a beautiful modern bathroom and large flatscreen tv. the palazzo pensionne is rated as a 2 star..it should be a 3 star and is much better than many 3 star hotels that i have stayed in. best pensionne in cebu!! stay here and you will be very pleased with the pensionne and friendly helpful staff. they have their own hire car and a really nice driver...pay him 100p to take you anywhere in the city.

Pleasant stay”

Palazzo Pensionne is located in a quiet street of Sepulveda in Cebu City. I never had any problems with check-in. They just asked for my voucher and ID. Since I have to check-out at 5am the next day, I informed them that I will not be able to avail the free breakfast and they were flexible and considerate to let us avail the free breakfast on the same day I checked-in (around 10am). The woman at the front desk was very accomodating. She even gave us a map of Cebu City with all the major attractions listed on it. The room was very clean with good wifi access. The room amenities can be compared to that of a hotel minus the bathtub and coffee facilities but who needs them anyway? Check-out was swift as well and they hailed a taxi cab for us. With the service they offered during our stay, it's really worth it. I wish I could've stayed longer.

Excellent hotel and situated in quiet location”

from the outside the hotel dosen't have a great appearance. but once inside you will get a very plesent surprise. the decor is lovely, large bedrooms and bathrooms with shampoo etc.the rooms were serviced everyday and towels etc replaced.the beds are very comfortable and rooms quiet. the staff are extreemly friendly and helpful. my wife spent 2 nights in a private hospital during our stay and this hotel was much cleaner than the hospital.we travel to cebu each month and will continue to stay at the palazzo pensionne. best pensionne in cebu!

Home away from home”

I'm a foreigner and a frequent visitor to Cebu for over five years. With a budget of between US$25-50 I think I've stayed in almost all the hotels featured in Agoda from the hellholes to the best valued accommodations. And I totally agree with all the other reviewers that Palazzo is the best. It's like staying in a relative's home. Nowhere in Cebu can you find such helpful and friendly staff especially at the front desk. I've never been denied early check-ins or late check-outs, left belongings kept securely for my return and many other little things a tourist would appreciate. This little home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood but with lots of taxis passing by which the helpful security guard will get for you. Their rooms in this lower priced range alike many other hotels does not come with a fridge but it can be put in for a small fee. It also doesn't have a kettle with cups but I hope the management would consider this. If you're the type that appreciates good value for your money then this is the place for you.

Pleasant well managed place”

Pilazzo Pensionne is a quiet little hotel out of the main stream. Clean, good sized rooms. Hot shower, nicely furnished room with good bedding. Staff was very very friendly and prompt in fulfilling our needs.The cab fare is p100 or less to most any place you want to go in the city. Near all the malls (SM, Ayala, Guisana). Free breakfast is surprisingly good as an American and a big man, I was always satisfied when leaving the dining area. The in house restaurant serves some very tasty dishes with generous portions. This is my favorite place to stay in Cebu City, although it is not a new place, it is very decent. I will stay again.

our family trip to cebu is a dream come true. It was pleasant to stay in the hotel. The room was big and newly built. There's a big flat screen TV but there is no refrigerator. The comfort room is big, comfortable, maybe they should add more toiletries like personalized soap, shampoo, lotion, tooth brush and tooth paste. The staff are accommodating. I will recommend palazzo pensionne to my friends and relatives. Keep it up.

Consistent and attentive staff.”

This was my second visit to Cebu City and I was happy to stay at Palazzo Pensionne again. I recommend it for single guys looking to be near the nightlife of Mango Square as it is ok to bring a girl back to your room. Room service is prompt and the staff are genuinely wanting to make my stay enjoyable. The room price includes a breakfast and the food is quite good for the Philippines. I almost always eat dinner in the hotel, unless I go to Ayala mall, as the food is tasty and well priced. Very convenient as the hotel is in a residential area and you can't just step out onto the street to get to restaurants etc., though there are a couple of convenience stores nearby. Taxi to the bars is 50 pesos and to Ayala mall which is absolutely on the "to do" list is around 100 pesos.

Super cozy and affordable stay in Cebu City!!!”

Sobrang linis ng room di ko inexpect na ganun kaganda ang studio type room nila para ka lang nakastay sa studio unit condo, complete lahat sa loob you just need to bring your own toothpaste meron silang provided na shampoo and bath soap. and im so amaze dahil swipe card ang pinaka key ng room to get connected sa appliances. Di ka maboboring dahil may cable ang tv super enjoy sa cartoons ang 1yr old baby ko. Since napagod kami sa daytour we just stay in our room kaya sinulit ang aircon. You need to try their fish filler nasarapan ako yun lang wala silang sauce or any kaya nag try ako magrequest ng ketchup. Super bait ng mga staff sobrang accommodating isang call mo lang sila pa mag ooffer ng help para ibaba bagahe at kung need ng taxi. Super love ko ang breakfast meal na included sa accommodation. The best ang pancake na halos kasing laki na ng plate :) till our next visit! Promise babalikan kita Palazzo Pensionne!

Affordable hotel with good costumer service.”

we enjoyed our stay at the palazzo pensionne basically because: the room is very clean. the room is quite large for the price and we were given a room at the ground floor which is really convenient. the price is very affordable too and includes free breakfast for two. there is a free wifi also. moreover, the staff are friendly and accommodating. one small problem we encountered is that some cab drivers are not familiar with the place but a map can help. we used our phones' map feature.

Located down a residential street, Palazzo Pensionne is a quiet bed and breakfast that was a major plus for my stay in Cebu. The location is clean, I really liked this place and the people there. I hope to someday stay there again.

Nice hotel in a very quiet area”

Once again my wife and i stayed at the lovely Palazzo Pensionne and as always it was a pleasure. The hotel is lovely inside and the large bedrooms very comfortable. It's situated in a very quiet, safe area but you can walk to Robinsons shopping mall in about 20 minutes. The staff are always helpful and friendly. You can use their hire car with a nice driver for 100pesos anywhere around the main city area. We will continue to stay here and you should too!!

when i go to cebu, this is my preferred choice for accomodation. it may be only small, but well worth it for value. location is away from the main street, but its never a problem to get a taxi. you just call the front desk and they will get one for you - almost immediately there is one waiting at the road. close to robinsons and ayalla - no more than a 10 minute taxi ride and about 60 pesos. free breakfast is great - served to the room if you desire and and promptly. i went for the american breakfast - satisfies my needs very adequately. i even ordered from the menu for dinner (when i am too lazy to go get some food) and i loved the fish and chips but other items there are good for a meal and reasonably priced. i stayed in the executive room - i like the fact there is a queen bed and a smaller bed there - beds are comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. tv is wall mounted and a modern lcd - unlike some hotels with outdated ones. water is hot (thank god!) - i hate luke warm showers - and with enough pressure to make the shower enjoyable. tip: takes a while to get the water adjusted to the right temperature, just be patient with the controls and after a while the water will start to get cold, so don't expect a 20 minute shower without getting a little cold :) staff are always smiling, friendly and will help you with anything you like. there is someone there 24 hours at the desk. the guard there will help you with the bags or to get you a taxi, always with a smile :) i also love the laundry service - drop clothes off before 9 am and they are returned that night. i would highly recommend staying here if visiting cebu.

Excellent Value for a comfortable night's loding”

for the price, i thought this was as excellent place to stay for a couple of nights in cebu city. cebu city isn't that much on the tourist trail, but there are a couple of things to do here, so we stayed the extra night before moving onward to bohol. the pensionne is not really walking distance to most places, mostly because the streets aren't pedestrian friendly, but taxis are cheap and the staff at desk are more than helpful in getting a taxi, or supplying other help. breakfast was not fancy but did the job.all in all, highly recommended.

The Palazzo Pensionne, is located in a good spot,very close I mean actually walking distance to Ayala. Mall and even the ferry ports.As for the Hotel which had friendly and very helpful staff throughout our stay, When we arrived our our booked Room wasn't available due to renovation throughout the building but immediately we got an upgrade yeahahh'Score! The room was very spacious and had everything you need most of all its well maintained ,part of the stay was Breakfast,which was served at a preorganised time,the Breakfast menu is good enough to get you going,Most off all we,me and my wife enjoied the 2 nite stay , a good Value for money Deal Thank you again to the staff from Palazzo Pensionne

Lovely hotel”

My wife and i stayed 3 evenings at Palazzo Pensionne and it was a very pleasant stay. It is situated in a quiet and safe area of the city, not far from the city center. The breakfast menu had quite a good selection of food.The rooms are quite big and excellent fast WiFi. I would recommend this hotel and i'm sure we will be staying there again in the future.

Outstanding service, an exceptionally clean hotel”

i will always try to stay here in the future when in cebu city. the staff was extraordinary in their help. i am hearing impaired and cannot use a cell phone, so they were very kind in calling several ferry companies for me. this service was done with a smile and friendly demeanor. the room was very clean and well appointed. it may not be the newest hotel in cebu city, but what it lacks in "flash" it more than makes up for in service and charming staff. i highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Palazzo Pensionne is a good choice for any traveller. They have nice spacious rooms with wifi access inside the room. Nice, friendly and very helpful staff. Great value for the money! My wife and i stay at Palazzo every time we go to Cebu, Good size room, cable TV and quick Wifi. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Its not flash but everything you need and quiet location......would definately recommend Palazzo!
