a large well-design room with huge outdoor bath tub (but u must bring bath foam by urseft) There is no swimming pool Foods are tasty at reasonable price at "play-yuan restaurant" In this visit I have a trouble with booking problem but hotel staffs and agoda staff also are really helpful and nice, thank you I recommended this resort if you plan to stay at Pak-meng beach

Our stay was peaceful and pleasant, we took a deluxe room, room was clean, nice working a/c and sureounded by a garden of palm trees it was a quiet restful stay. We ate at restaurants 10-15 minutes walk along the sea, this road was always full of local friendly people. We also could arrange PADI diving course through the resort. This place Pakmeng beach has virtually no tourists and local people understang very little english but are eager to help and are very friendly and relaxed. The beach at Pakmeng beach is hard sand and not white soft sand so if you are coming to enjoy your days lying on white sands beneath palm trees this place is not for you. You can take a ferry and go to islands an hour away where there are beautiful beaches. All in all we had a very nice time in Pakmeng beach and the Pakmeng resort.

My thai wife and I (german) enjoyed ten lovely days at Sabai Resort Pak Meng in December 2014. We chose this place in the south of Thailand, as we wanted to spend a quiet time in a not so touristic spot. The resort´s evaluations from different people all over the world were splendid, so we gave it a try. The owners are thai-italian and they worked hard to make our stay memorable. Sabai Resort is away from any traffic in a huge rubber tree plantation and a ten minutes by scooter from the Pak Meng Beach or Si Kao village. The premises are new and everything is well maintained. Cleanliness of the bungalows is outstanding, as the owners take personal care of everything. Noi & Alberto are a wonderful couple and they were working hard to make our stay unforgettable. Helpful in every way, we enjoyed their food, eagerness to provide good food (daily fresh from the market), a hike by car when needed and any information or service (i.e. scooter rental, tour info, island tours etc.). We have met Princess, the world´s sweetest cat. She´s the star of the resort and she´s been always good to jump on our laps for a three hours petting. Unfortunately Alberto did not want to exchange his kitten to my Ipod. So he will probably miss my music from my Ipod as much as we miss Princess, the true Sabai Resort superstar, lol. If you are longing for a quiet and relaxed time with good food, both thai and italian kitchen, as well as good entertainment from the owners, nice day trips to islands such as Koh Mook or Koh Kradan, then you should consider going to Trang. This resort has been such a good experience, so we can only recommend it. And if Alberto will build a pool for next year, then I´ll promise to help him to mow the lawn. We chose to stay at Saithong as an easy layover. We were traveling to the nearby Islands the next day, but due to us arriving at Trang so late we had to stay one night at Pak Meng Beach. Saithong was a super place to stay at for one night. There is not that much to do in the area, the beach is pretty and there are some restaurants but other than that there is not much, during our stay we did not see any other tourists (which was kinda fun) We do not however have any complaints about the hotel itself.

Omg worst place i have stayed in a long time!!!! They are big rooms with ok beds but there has been no upkeep or even cleaning done in a long time! It's like they have just left them and forgot about it. The place is very run down and down a really bad back round and long walk out to the beach! We had a frog and all sorts of creature living in the bathroom! There was little animal droppings all on the walls and it was just disgusting! The staff was nice enough but couldn't speak any English, we had to use google translate, but that's not a fault on their place as I can't speak Thai. It really is just the state he place has been left in! We ending up only staying one night and went down to the beach front, did a walk in at Pakmeng beach cafe, which was only 800tbh for the night and lovely rooms right opposite the beach.
