Perfect for R n R!”

We were supposed to have a vacation in Bantayan but because I am 5 months pregnant we preferred to check hotels in Mactan instead. I found good reviews online for Pacific Cebu Resort, so we decided to book an overnight stay in this hotel. And it did not disappoint. Staff are courteous and polite, resort was clean, amenities are well-maintained, and the view of the beach is relaxing, though i am not sure if it's suitable for swimming. As for me, just staring at the sea while having my drinks is enough. :) We enjoyed our dinner while Momentum Cebu plays a very good music. TGIF, indeed! Foods are quite pricey and buffet breakfast is fair enough. Internet services are reliable, no worries about staying connected. A lot of foreigner guests, Filipinos are out numbered. Consider groups having team buildings during weekends. 'Will definitely refer this place to my friends who will visit Mactan.

Exceptional”

We went to pacific cebu resort to celebrate our wedding anniversary, at first I was not expecting too much on the place because I read the reviews on the resort and its not that good but when we arrived I was surprised because the place was big , clean and instagrammable. Our room was spacious and near to the kiddie pool. Breakfast was good. Staffs are friendly and approachable. Everything was really perfect. Highly recommended👍👍

Wonderful Experience ”

My friend and I booked Pacific Cebu Resort as the price was hard to go buy. The hotel has a beautiful view of the seaside! What made our experience most enjoyable were the staff. A MASSIVE THANK YOU to Raffy (poolside), Jojie (reception) Nick & Christian (concierge), Ramon (chef), Kim (restaurant) and pocket (dive center), plus so so many more!!! These people make the stay truly wonderful! From little touches such as jokes or recommendations from Raffy; Pocket taking us out and snorkelling with us, showing us the best of the Hilutangan Islands; Ramon making us a special snack for our day out in Bohol so we don't miss out of the amazing breakfast, I cannot recommend this place more!!! Can't wait to book again in 2021!

Peaceful Place to Relax”

I stayed here two nights recovering from jet lag before a week of meetings. The resort grounds and ocean view are very nice. The ocean itself is not someplace that I would want to swim. I think that all of Mactan Island is like that. The main pool is small but sufficient. I thought the rooms were quite nice for the price, though the bathroom was very spartan. The tub was new and the shower strong. The food is reasonably good, I stuck to Filipino items. As with any resort the food and drink prices are much higher than outside the resort. It is in a rather remote location, so you won't be going out to eat or drink unless you take a taxi. Unless you go diving, I think I would get pretty bored here after about three days.

Jetsetters' haven!”

The resort exudes chic and classy environment and amenities. It refreshed us and we feel we are far from civilization yet the resort has facilities that will relieve your boredom. The resto and the bar were astounding with yummy selection of foods and beverages. If you have no ride, that would be a slight problem. I suggest that you will avail a self drive car and explore tourist destinations nearby too. Kudos to Pacific Cebu Management!

amazing, clean, profesionnal staff and helpfull and very secured hotel to acces. first time in Mactan and im pretty surprised about kindness and quality of services. you have here all what you need, 24/24 quality food services. wifi is ok. rooms are good and near beach. you can relax hotel as well as u can call taxi and go to city because taxi are cheap and can order in any hour..... to sum up, the resort is excellent just they should need to work in advertisement and put new pics on agoda and booking. we paid for 3night for a superior room with balcony a reasonnable price (100usd) . for 4 start is free we highly recomand!

A vacation to remember”

We really enjoyed our stay at Pacific Cebu Resort. Upon arrival we already knew that our stay here will be comfortable and relax because of the ambiance and tranquility. Employees are very warm. The food is good but a little expensive.

Quick Beach Getaway”

The resort is 1-2hr drive from Cebu City. The staff are hospitable and really helpful. It has great amenities; the room itself was clean and toiletries were provided. If you go here for the beach though, you will be disappointed. It's small and when we were there, the water has some sort of oily stuff in it that discouraged us from bathing. To make up for it, there are three pools, which are really great. The first one is right in front of the beach and has a bar in it, the second one is in the middle of trees so you can swim in the shade to avoid sunburn. The third one is the infinity pool which offers a nice view and is a perfect place to chill. They have restaurants within the resort, you'll have to pay corkage for bringing food from outside. We had dinner here which is a bit pricey considering the serving and the taste. Breakfast buffet was nice though, there are plenty of choices and vegan options as well. Overall a nice option for a quick getaway from the city.

Calming Break”

Pleasent check in and happy staff. Easily located at the back of Mactan Island. Room very clean and a good nightly rate. Good choice of food. Make sure when you book that you get Breakfast Included in the price as I found food prices overpriced.

Great value and lots of fun for the family”

This was a largely unknown resort hotel to locals since it was only open to Japanese travelers until this past year. It does need a bit more updating, but for the price, this was a great stay for my family visiting and my family who is local. We all enjoyed the room space, the food, the beach, the pool, and staff attentiveness. There is a dive shop on premises and divers were seen being taken out to open ocean. There is a spa, however, I found it a bit pricey for my "filipino" side, but its a deal for my "american" side. (For Americans, remember to only drink bottled water, avoid ice cubes, and brush teeth with bottled water.) Overall, I would go there again with the family. Everyone had a great time!

Isolated location, friendly staff”

pacific cebu is fine for families with small children or people who want a budget resort experience (without doing many excursions). the staff was very friendly and accommodating. the management tried very hard to help us. the resort is very isolated, and while the room prices and food prices were fine, any outside tour is overpriced (and these are booked on-site). there is no night-life on this end of mactan, so if that is what you want you may be disappointed. this place is perfect if you want to stay put, have a swim in the pool, and read some books for several days.

A comfortable hotel ”

A hotel is in MACTAN IS. and its access of an airport is convenient. There is no deposit at two-night stay. A room type is Superior Garden View. The key case of a key is wooden (form of a fish), and is large, and its carrying is inconvenient. The chartered flight of a hotel is PHP450 to Lapu-Lapu City. Cebu City is PHP700. It arrives at PM18:00 after the end of half-day sightseeing of a ball island at Cebu Harbourn, and it is difficult for a taxi to find the taxi which is refused and is carried to a hotel. The cry of the poultry farm of toward morning is annoying.

Great location and just nice rooms”

We did not expect a lot after reading the negative comments about Cebu Pacific Hotel prior to our trip but when we got there, the place is just nice considering their lower price rate. We are happy that we have chosen this resort..

I was nervous to book this accomodation since i never heard of this resort and judging from the previous reviews it was not that awesome.. However it exceeded my expectations, the room was comfortable despite some glitches, the breakfast buffet was fullfilling and the ambiance in total is very relaxing.. When i posted my pictures from this place friends and family wanted more information and are thinking to visit this place too.. The only downside of it all is it is very difficult to get to especially if you do not have your own transportation and you live in cebu.. But all in all it was a pleasant stay!

Relaxing and affordable!”

Pacific Cebu Resort was extremely relaxing. The staff were extremely friendly and very attentive. We were made to feel very welcome. Our room was very clean with an amazing view. The swimming pool was beautiful and very easy to access other resorts in the area. The only negative aspect was the food. It was terrible! Breakfast was especially bad! Since the location is a little remote, it would have helped massively if the food was better.

Great location could use a bit of improvment”

this Hotel is situated in a great position on the coast looking out to the across the sea to some small islands then to a large island in the distance. So the views are spectacular. We upgraded to Beach view and the view was worth it. Service was good the staff was friendly and helpful. Our only disappointments were that the rooms were brushed out and not mopped so the floors were always a little dirty and with the Taxi service and the beach. Taxis demanded a premium to come in to the resort to pick you up this escalated each time we called doubling each time until we stopped using them and walked out and took tricycles. The resort needs to control this a small fee is not unreasonable. Some resorts notify the authorities about this kind of abuse. The other disappointment was the beach when you walk out to swim there are very sharp rocks and the sand becomes very muddy and slimy very quickly so one must wear footwear that will not get sucked off by the mud. In general though we were very happy with the service and the accomodation

Awesome Stay at Pacific Cebu Resort”

We had an awesome time at Paciic Cebu Resort. Although the aircon in the room was a bit warm (the allocation for it was bigger than the size of the aircon), we had a relaxing time. This is the perfect place to unwind and relax away from the noisy and busy streets of the city. Having said that, it is a bit far from public transport. You have to go through a LONG street of residential areas to get to the resort. To get to the place where you can take a cab, you have to pay 100php (tric) but it can be negotiated, we got ours for like 50-70php.

My stay at Pacific Cebu Resort was good. I had a hard time finding it with a taxi driver from the airport. The one bad thing about the resort is, there are no restaurants around the hotel and you have to walk forever to get a motorbike taxi. When you leave, they do not call taxi's, you either have to try and catch one dropping off a hotel guest which is rare, or take your stuff all the way to the front gate, get on a motorbike taxi with your luggage, then get another taxi at the taxi stand at the mall.

Ideal for “Staycation””

We spent most of our time in Cebu touring Oslob, Moalboal and different parts of Cebu. If you’re like us, it’s best to book an accommodation in Cebu city. This resort is at the end of Lapu Lapu. Very far from Cebu city. It’s a challenge booking grab nor taxi in this resort and they do not provide free shuttle to the city. Their shuttle costs P900 one way. You need to spend P400++ taxi fare going to Cebu. You will be stuck in traffic if you travel during rush hour. The food in this resort is too pricey and so-so. A tiny cup of adobo with fried rice is P200-P300. Outside food and drinks require corkage. Toilet has no bidet. Superior room has no queen size bed. 2 single beds will be moved next to each other to make it queen size. If you plan to stay in the resort most of the time and have ample budget for your trip, this is a good choice. They have swimming pool and have daily activities (free and with charges). We like the staff here. They are very friendly and helpful.
