Best hotel in Bromo”
I have been to Bromo many time and stayed in many hotels. Mostly, hotel in Bromo is not standardized and expensive. Then I tried this OYO Defada Village. I found this hotel is amuzing and incredibly affordable. Interior id designed as minimalist with beautiful scenery in your room. Recommended to stay here.

Good place for budget stay”
Room and the place were clean. Breakfast was made to order and they were delicious. Staffs were very attentive. Wifi was available but my room downstairs couldn’t get the wifi so had to go to the lobby to use wifi but other than that everything was good.

Almost perfect hotel to relax near Bromo ”
Cons : - Many bathroom/shower issue : Shower is boiling or too cold, water from the sink is suddenly very strong, splashing water everywhere, same in the shower... should improve water pump and heater and this hotel would be perfect to me. Shower was clogged, so water remains when you shower... Bathroom lack of ventilation - Dusty in the room and traces on the sink area, could be cleaner when check in - Wifi not working in the room (2nd floor), you have to be at first floor near reception - would be great to add more racks to hang our clothes or towels. Good: - staff is very lovely and welcoming, they speak English, could ask questions - Indomaret near by, 30 min drive to Bromo, perfect temperature never too cold or too hot (no aircon or fan) - Room is great, spacious, bed confortable, natural light via big window, well furnished with kettle, big balcony with view on mountain - Delicious food at the hotel restaurant, and their breakfast was very good too (choice between fried rice, fried noodles and toast eggs with coffee or tea). We love their fried rice. Overall we love this place, lovely staff and good place to relax

Defada village has a great loc near main road, but that makes a lil bit noisy at dawn when we need to sleeping peacefully. There are so many stores near the hotel, like mini market, food stalls, traditional fruit n veg market etc. Parking lot is quite spacious too. Price is affordable, breakfast is quite good too. But there are some things that need to be improved, like cleanliness and water heater. Inside the room is a little bit dusty, hotel's slippers is dirty too, maybe they dont change much. Water heater isnt always on. 😢

Friendly staff, value for money, about 1 hour away from bromo, there’s an indomarket that’s located just outside the hotel. Everything was good however the biggest struggle was with the shower, as the water was either on the extreme hot or cold mode and makes it really difficult to shower... otherwise all is good !

Nice newly opened hotel but needs improvement”
Pros: Nice location with shops and amenities nearby, friendly and accommodating staff Cons: Leaking pipe and stagnant water at bathroom, unstable electricity due to nearby construction works but they do have generator as backup.

Location is bit far from mt bromo, nearby a mini mart bit the minimart was not 24 hrs. The room was ok but a bit dirty, found an emoty water bottle in between corner table and the wall. The staffs are good and lovely. And their car park is good too! But unfortunetely I leavedmy chather in the hotel, but my sister managed to WA them amd having some convs andthey said will send it back to me but no promise about the timing! I am fine with it. Hopefully they will improve more and more 👍👍👍

Good starting point for Bromo Tours”
If you do a bromo tour, you won't use the room anyhow for anything else then getting a few hours sleep. For this particular case I would recommend the room, since it is very cheap. But I would not stay here, if you are planning to also spend time in the room.

Basic room with open grid above windows”
Room was clean, very basic. Above windows and door there was a grid that could not be closed so be prepared for noise and potential animals in room. Hotel is on way to Bromo but it still take about 45min by car to get there. Around hotel you can find an Indomart and some warung but not a lively center. Reception did not speak English

Nice Trip to mount Bromo”
Das Hotel ist sehr neu und modern eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich und es gibt sehr leckeres indonesisches Frühstück. Bis zum Bromo ist es noch ein kleines Stück Weg aber uns hat die Lage gut gefallen. Supermärkte etc. Sind direkt nebenan und von der Terrasse vorm Zimmer hat man einen schönen Ausblick. Lediglich das Bad hat etwas nach Chlor gerochen. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt. Ich würde definitiv wieder kommen.
