This hotel is old and tired condition. However, it was clean and all function able. Only suitable for budget and non fussy travellers to stay.

The worst place I have ever lived ”

The place is one of the worst I have ever lived. The bathroom is just so dirty and smelly. The bed is infested with bedbugs and for caution, I have to wash all my cloth new and old. The pillow was hard. The best part of all there is no curtain on the window. There will be no second time here. Period

Cleanliness ”

Sorry to say, but eventough cheap price but the most important thing is cleanliness must be the first priority . Toilet dirty and not maintenance properly.

The room is quite nice, clean, and okay. The room i was provided was very good compared to the negative reviews given online. However, the room was quite small, and the hotel buliding is a shared building apartment close to other offices. The Management can do better by putting a barricade between their section of the apartment from other offices. That way, customers would have the desired privacy.

Just dont. Spend a bit more and stay at a normal hotel. You know that smell of urinal cakes in public bathrooms? Thats what the room smelled like. The walls in the bathroom permanently covered with moisture and mould. Cold water dripping from the ceiling on your head and back when u sit on the toilet. The "shower space" next to the toilet itself is so big the bathroom door brushes against the toilet bowl when opened/closed. The bed was mostly clean. The tv channels (all 5 or so) can only be flicked by pressing buttons on the tv itself. Staff kind but unable to assist.

Our 2nd stay in penang, Malaysia. During checked in receptionist can't find my record. Spent half an hour giving him my passport n proof of Agoda Booking with ID. Still can't find. He can only speak Malay. Insisted him to get another staff to check our booking. Waited 15 mins later another staff attended to us n found our record. Was frightened off by our Penang 1st booking by Nancy wee at another oyo 2 days prior to this facing same problem. No receptionist. Only via phone call who turned us away saying we didn't book that we have to resort booking nearby comfort home n paying extra. As it was late n we were hungry we grab but don't know how to pay them. Luckily owner send the staff to collect cash from us but forgotten to ask for receipt in a rush. Agoda told friend due to technical problem can refund max 50 but no receipt so didn't claim. Through reviews noticed some also facing same problems at other oyo. The main problem think is due to surname. As Agoda is US based, surname is behind but in Asian country is Infront per passport. Staff should have experienced. Feedback to people queing behind me if can't trace booking tell them surname behind.

The toilet was dirty we couldnt even close our toilet door. The sink was about to fall and it wasssss so dirty. No clean up room, the room was small and we are so devastated.
