Great Hotel and Value for Money”

good break from genting. return trip from genting via cable car and genting coach to gombak lrt stn with 2gps. can take taxi from lrt stn to hotel for rm8-10 or take a public bus tr203 in front of the lrt stn. 30 minutes interval. got to try the penyet restaurant at the corner just a stone throw away. must also try the prata or chenai at the muslim stall. good value shopping around that area too. can take a bus to batu cave via bus service tr203 too. good choice when there is no more room in genting during the peak season.

Strategic location”

It was my second time staying at this hotel. We stayed for one night for my master convocation in IIUM Gombak. Only took around 10 mins drive from the hotel to the university. Ideal place if you are food lovers since there was a plethora of restaurants/stalls within the hotel's vicinity (walking distance). The hotel also provide free water from its Cuckoo/Coway dispenser. Deposit needed was rm50 for our stay. The price was affordable too.

Big and spacious”

Value for money. Easy excess to highway Pantai Timur. Near to Gombak LRT. Easy parking. Clean but need to be improve. Will recommend to stay at this hotel.

Short transit from gentingHighlands to BukitTinggi”

I went to genting Highlands which is abt 30mins from gombak then i was planning to go to bukit tinggi on the next day. So instead of staying at any hotels near to genting highlands or Bukit Tinggi which majorities are expensive, so i stayed here in Gombak and just go up to Bukit Tinggi on the following day.

great little place”

Pros: nice, clean hotel. close to anything you want (food, 7/11, maccas. less than 10myr to batu cave. very nice staff cons: running drain in bathroom. observation: close to bike mechanics so may wake light sleepers in the morning, not an issue for me. great little place to spend the night if you want to check out batu caves. i would stay there again.

Totally worth for money”

Location : Near KL in peaceful neighbouhood. Close station. One of the main attactions Batu Caves very close. For Genting you may hire a cab for RYM80 for 4 person. Restaurants: Many food joints are nearby hotel. From street food stalls to good hotels. Staff : Staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall Rating : Very Good

5mins travel time from batu caves by cab. itll only cost 5rm but driver will ask for 10rm as they will not have passenger going back to the terminal. ride ktm komuter from sentral to batu cave. the hotel is within commercial area where it has lots of place to eat and buy goods but we didnt see the hotel immediately as their signage was on 2nd/3rd flr receptionists are nice but need to improve english proficiency to communicate well to customers especially when customers are asking for directions

I request for the late checkout, but the staff nvr charge on me. I like it. The hotel is not far from Kuala Lumpur city (30min reach KL), hotel located in smooth traffic area place. It solved driver panic sometime.

Value hotel but noisy at night”

we were in batu caves for the rock climbing, and the hotel was well located, within walking distance of some of the crags. our room had no windows (though we knew this in advance). the only real complaint is that it was a bit noisy at night, and we could hear every door open and slam shut in the hotel

clean basic hotel near Batu Caves”

If you are travelling by car this is a good budget hotel near Batu Caves. Nice places to eat in the same street.

Close to Batu Caves”

Always stay here for my rock climbing trip to Batu Caves where I can buy some take-away food for my lunch and nice coffee when climbing. There are some nice restaurants nearby which I can reward myself after a hard day of climbing including my favorite Secret Receipt which is 5 mins walking distance.

Inap Desa Good for its location”

Generally Inap is best for its location, near to amenities and other places of interest. The room is clean. The staff is friendly and worth to stay there.

Nice enough hotel for the price”

The hotel is supposed to be 1.5km from the caves but is in fact 3 km away as we discovered after walking to the caves. The bathroom smelled terrible and I have never seen so many mosquitoes in a hotel room! I have know idea where they came from as there was no window! We wanted to sleep in after a late night but the cleaning staff made such a racket, all shouting to eachother down the corridor, we couldn't sleep past 7 am.

Actually it was a bit disappointing. Me and family arrive here with our luggage, and it was too overweight for us to bring it upstairs since this hotel doesnt have Lift. But it was very kind of the Girl on the receptionist that she helped us bringing it to the third floor. Our first room was very smelly and the A/C was too noisy so we asked to change to other room and the receptionist girl was very kind and let us move to other room. The second room was better even tho the toilet is too dark and the A/C was less noisy than the first one. The Hotel is very strategic because it is located near everywhere (food stalls, pharmacy, mini market) but our destination was actually Batu Caves and we have to take Grab car costs 7-9RM because there was no bus to go there. My big Thanks to the Receptionist (chinese Girl) because of ur kind help to us.

Just a pleasant place to stay..nice place..but not easy to be found..we change hotel from gombak to kepong..but the hotel just nice for backpackers like us

Cheap standard hotel”

the hotel was your basic hotel, nothing fancy. rooms were small, with ac and bathroom. not the comfiest hotel but clean and simple. the hotel is within walking distance to the caves, but you can visit the caves as a day trip from kuala so there's no need to stay over night.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”

The size of the room is good, the staffs are very nice, price is also affordable. It is recommended for family of IIUM students to stay at this hotel.

Good location with nice hotel room ”

the size of the room is not very big, but i like the design, simple but perfect, its my favorite..there are many restaurant nearby, papparich was at downstairs and oldtown was opposite, not a problem for your meals.. the service is nice in the hotel yet the staff are polite when we have requests.. overall, i like this hotel so much, it will be my first choice for my next travel...

Budget yet decent Accommodation ”

Booked a stay in this hotel for a couple of nights and there are plenty of food choices around the neighbourhood. Room is basic yet clean for a budget hotel and the staff were accommodating / helpful to our various requests.
