Great location excellent value”

The hotel is charming (with colonial architecture) and very near to major attractions in KL city centre, including KLCC. Room was very clean, the staff were extremely helpful and the price surprisingly affordable. Although located in the middle of the city, the surrounding area was very quiet and I had very restful nights there. There is also restaurant adjoining the hotel for meals. Unfortunately I was always out, didn't get to taste the food. Will definitely will stay again in the future.

Good place with decent stay experience”

It was quite convenient, just few minutes to Bukit Bintang shopping areas, and Jalan Alor for food, and it has a good café downstairs open until very late even night owls with no problem for a meal. Also walking distance to KLCC. Was higher than my expatiation because from outside seems like a run down hotel, but inside was clean and comfort, and the room also quite big. Consider quiet even my room was just beside the street, only can hear occasionally for some loud motorbike. Just a small problem even my floor is non-smoking floor, still can smell somebody's smoking scene in the walkway, luckily not inside the room though.

Better Than Expected”

The hotel/rooms were very clean and had character with high ceilings and great details. The bathroom (with an enclosed shower) was one of the best we had during our stay in Malaysia. The staff were efficient and straightforward about the amenities (no wifi in the rooms). The location is great with easy 1 minute access to the monorail and the neighborhood was upscale. The quality we received for the price was exceptional. We will book this hotel for our next stay in KL.

Clean, spacious, simple and spacious standard double room for a very affordable price! No TV but it's fine. Location was awesome. Just opposite Raja Chulan monorail. Overall service was very good!! As a solo female customer and attending a late night show, need a safe taxi ride back hotel. The lady in charge was kind and concern. The taxi transfer was too expensive. I managed to catch RidingPink ride home. She even follow up with me when I checked out.. Memorable stay. =) Whenever I'm in KL city I'll think booking there again.

Awful check-in experience, completely unacceptable.”

I am overall satisfied with the room. It was clean and spacious. However, as other reviewers had pointed out, your booking of this hotel's room through Agoda does not mean anything! I booked a room through Agoda which clearly stated "Standard Double Room". However, when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that my booking was for a Budget Room. Moreover, I was told that there was no more Budget Room for me because I had not paid, while other guests had! So, what is the point of my booking if I cannot secure a room? Why do they even bother giving us an option to pay at the hotel? And why is it stated on Agoda that it is a "Standard Room"? Is there any communication at all between the hotel and Agoda? In the end I was given a sole option of topping up extras for a bigger room called "Superior Room". But what if there was absolutely no room left for me? Where am I supposed to stay? Hence I would suggest travelers to not risk it, unless you have a backup plan.

The room is spacious and clean. Near to monorail station, bkt bintang, klcc, etc. Not enough lighting in room, abit gloomy, but still ok. Hotel required rm100 as deposit.

Value for Money and GoodLocation”

Perfect place to stay and experience KL. Located just beside the monorail very short distance Bukit Bintang (Nightlife Area) Budget Hotel in KLCC. Walkable distance to Petronas Tower and KL Tower.

Exceptional”

Most affordable hotel in city center. Next to Raja Chulan Monorail station. Walking distance to Pavilion, Bukit Bintang & KLCC. Very clean room.

Good Location”

Building is quite old but is comfortable and worth to stay for the pricing. Pavilion mall is just right opposite and comes with Starhill, Lot 10 mall after crossing the road. Only one thing which caused me concern was the parking has to pay even we are hotel guest. Understand that they open their restaurant for outsider and they can enjoy 1hr free parking if they having their dinner there but why a hotel guest would need to pay extra?

In despite of all the negative comments about upgrading your room, they try with us, but it is just a selling thing. We did get our booked room, the cheapest and it was absolute a great room. Room was big, clean, staff was friendly and helpful, checking out early no problem. you really get what you paid for and more, only "disappointed" thing was you cannot use the swimming pool, but hey, for that price.... We come to KL every 3 months, we will come here again. Thank you

Good location, budget and conveniet”

This hotel located at very strategic location, just few steps away from raja chulan monorail station. Downstairs got restaurant and the foods are nice. As I'm stayed at budget room, so not much expectation, hot shower and basic necessities are provided. One thing to comment is the room got ants. Hopefully this issue can be solved.

MY GO To”

This hotel has always been my Go To whenever i need to stay back for a night in KL. Clean room, Fresh Towels Basic amenities. Hairdryer, Drinking Water and mini soap. Near to Monorail Raja Chulan Station. only 5 min Walks to pavilion and lot 10 . The food in the restaurant was great.

Best Location and Value For Money”

The hotel was very close to the center of KL. walkable distance from Butik Bintang yet peaceful and calm. We were offered free upgrade to a bigger room. The rooms were clean and spacious. We loved the stay and would definitely stay here again.

Awesome location”

This hotel was great for a two day layover. it gets pretty noisy at night - my experience was with other guests checking in extremely early in the morning beside me and being loud. No pool although it looks that way in photos.

Delightful 1-night stay. Clean, spacious room and comfortable bed/sheets. Happy with the surrounding and location too. Very strategic city center and near to Raja Chulan monorail station. For the budget price, it is definitely worth it and have not much complaints. Hope OYO 161 willl continue to maintain the pleasant standards for lodgers.

Quite cheap but clean”

It's very close to the KLCC. The building is old, the furniture is simple but the most important think it's clean. It's close to the train station so do not expect silence but I slept very well. Thumbs up

It's very clean, especially the toilet. The location is the best, monorail station is right outside of the hotel. The hotel is in the town area as well. Very convenient. There's a restaurant right outside the hotel as well. Don't have to be worry of being hungry.
