Best place to stay in Padang”
We always stay here when we visit Padang. It's a wonderful boutique style hotel in a fantastic location. The staff are very friendly, the rooms well appointed and clean..really comfortable beds too! The price isnt expensive compared to other hotels but gives five star service. Nice pool and restaurant as well. We've been here 5 times and will keep coming back

Only smoking rooms within the Superior category ”
My booking was a Superior room, for which apparently they only have smoking ones. I was forced to book a more expensive one (Deluxe) to get a non-smoking room. Also, there was a problem on my door lock, which can happen, and to be fair it was dealt with professionally - however, it would have been nice to offer us a small treat, as we were locked out of the room for a while. Unfortunately there wasn't any sympathy on this, other than a "sorry".

I can say that this is the most beautiful hotel designs in Padang with great environment, good foods in restaurant and good service staffs. I checked out the next day to another hotel but I came back to D Oxville with my pyjamas and requested I that I wanted to stay in again to room. Unluckily the room was occupied but they tried their best to keep it for me the next morning. They did it. Their trustworthy touched my heart when I said I will buy straight away and please give me the room I wanted. So I able to go back to this hotel with the only balcony room of the hotel. It was a very memorable time in this hotel. Highly recommended. All were okay. Only the bathroom with less design. I will go back to the hotel again if I fly to Padang. Free WiFi, comfort room, comfort bed, good foods in restaurant, nice environment, sunbath beds, nice nemos pool and great staffs. Thumbs up to D Oxville Hotel. Keep it up. Oh ya. I found few lipas in room but I managed to kill it. No big deal and no complaint about it. Cheers.

Cozy hotel ”
The room was cozy and clean. Our room was on second floor. There was no elevator but the hotel staff help to carry our luggage upstairs. The pool was small but sufficient enough esp for young children. The food was great eventhough not many options. Overall it was a nice stay, we would love to stay at Oxville again whenever we visit Padang.

it's a nice little boutique hotel nice comfortable rooms but more geared up to Indonesians not foreigners. No English news channel although its stated on the guide also staff wouldn't change it when requested. Poor drainage in shower Breakfast is very limited for bule only a plain omelette on toast Many staff hanging around talking in restaurant and its hot too Internet is poor

Would stay here again. Nice pool but only open until 6pm! Very helpful staff-organised a car and driver for us to visit tea plantation and twin lakes. Staff speak basic English. About a 20 min walk to Ramayana. Nearby beaches are littered and not worth visiting. Hotel reasonably new so all in good condition.

Superb!! The hotel its in the heart of the city, the staff were so friendly. Our room its quit big enough n clean as well. All the architecture was beautiful, its like one of the hotel n bali. Its sooo different, the have also a swimming pool right in the midlle of the hotel building.
