Fantastic Hostel & Ocean View”

This hostel as a whole is amazing - the facilities are great, the rooms are spacious and clean, the chill-out areas are nice and the restaurant has a variety of dishes on their menu. The view from the hostel overlooking the ocean is amazing to look out on while having breakfast, and their island hopping tour was amazing. We walked out to the boat straight from the hostel, and even though it was more expensive than the other tours, we had such an amazing group and the tour guides and captain and chef were SO amazing that I feel it was well worth the price. The hostel is quite lively at night, so it's great if you want to be social or party, but the security guards also shut it down around 10 or 11 so it's quiet for the people wanting to get a good night's sleep too! Outpost is pricier than other hostels, but if you're looking for a social environment, clean rooms and bathrooms, the most fun staff and a beautiful beachfront view - you won't find anywhere better in El Nido than Outpost!

Wonderful Stay”

I could say this place is perfect. They have the perfect location if you love to witnessed the beautiful sunrise and sunset in El Nido. I really loved this place from the moment I checked in since they have the nicest and super b accomodating staffs. They were serving delicious food. (Chicken Sandwich is so yummy) The party at night is the best here. This place is perfect for solo travelers you can meet a lot of people here. Out Post Hostel what a amazing place to stay”

What amazing hostel just want to say thank you to all the staff and the owners of outpost beach Hostel Paul Sepulveda, Toma Playa,Bobby dunn, Yuki Dunn, Dennis Chica. Out Post Hostel is for all ages I would recommended it definitely to stay at this hostel. If you don't mind sharing rooms you can do that or if you want a private room they have that facility as well. It has one of them amazing places to see a sunset at night and the food is amazing there as well. One thing about Out Post Hostel I like it feels like you are at home the staff are always asking you if you are having a great time and I like that from any hotel. If you want to just chill out you can or if you want to participate in any of the games what day do you can. Through the daytime they do tours to the islands I definitely recommended to doing them are amazing and just want to say thank you to the captain well he was amazing. If you want to hire a motorbike they can help you or if you want to do anything they are very friendly and helpful to help to organise your trip. I haven’t stayed in a hostel since I was 22 years old and I am now 42 years old and I can say Out Post Hostel was amazing place to stay and I met some great new friends from Out Post Hostel as well . Just want to say again thank you to all the staff they was amazing.

The nicest hostel I've ever stayed in! ”

First of all let me say how excited I was to stay at Outpost after the horrible hosteli stayed at in town. I had reserved a private room and I could not believe my eyes how beautiful this room was. It looked better than some hotels I've stayed at, my eyes were lit up with joy. My friends stayed in dorm rooms and they were so nice too I couldn't believe how good the architecture of the whole hostel was. Rooms, bathrooms, bar and just in general the whole hostel was super clean all the time and well organized. They were on top of everything all the time in terms of tours, reservations for flights or van/bus rides and just when ordering drinks and food. The staff is amazing and know how to keep the hostel a relaxing one with a mix of party till 11pm before everyone heads out to town to party! I would definitely recommend staying here to everyone and I know I'll definitely be staying here again when I come back to El Nido! Enjoy! :)

The best hostel I've stayed in so far!”

We had a great stay.Food was great. Big servings and reasonably priced. I highly recommend the Crispy Pork Sisig Staff and every one was great, including the owners, housekeeping and even the guards! Special shoutout to Darren and Gerson! Everyone was friendly, accommadating and fun! And most importantly, the place is well-run and organized. If I go back to El Nido, will surely stay at the Outpost again! To be honest, I booked this hostel.without reading a lot of reviews. Agoda had this hotel rated high and rates were very reasonable and so I just went ahead and booked it and NO REGRETS! Again, this is by far the best hostel I've stayed in.

The place is the best there is with this rate in entire el nido-corong corong area...I was forced to stay a few nights at hostels around only to discover how epic outpost actually was...their Combo tour A and B might be a bit pricey at first, since it doesn't include any of the lagoons, but the crew are the most perfect with the right energy and service in addition to the cool people from the hostel as your tour buddies that you love it...There are like more than a dozen people working here and all are epic and smiling and helpful 24/7...I felt amazingly comfortable here...the place is full of young people, mostly Europeans...the lobby is big and beautiful...the location is right next to the beach...can't get any better than this with!

One of a kind experience”

Awesome hostel!! All staffs are very friendly and acommodating, they will treat you like fam! This hostel is for people ready to socialize and just have fun! The room (dorm room) is spacious with enough storage/locker for your bags. Just bring your own lock. Bed is cozy, with own electricity plug and lamp. Shower area is clean with hot and cold water. They have the best sunset view with free sunset shots!!!! Food is a bit expensive but delicious. I lost my towel my first night there, but told the receptionist and I was just provided with a new towel without deducting from my deposit. :) I love El Nido more because of Outpost Hostel. Will surely come back. ❤️❤️

I already miss it!”

I actually don't know where to start. I had not the great expectations to El Nido or Outpost when I arrived, but it changed! It is a very special place - A hidden treasure. When I arrived with the sand between my toes for the trip from the highway and down to the output, I was greeted with the warmest welcome at the reception from Bobby. Already here, I had the desire to be more days ;) The location is perfect! A little far from the City. 5-10 min with tricycle. The atmosphere of the place is so warm and welcome. Staff are smiling, warm and friendly. The staff is always on hand to help if you need it. You quickly feel a part of the family even if you just have arrived. The surroundings are new and neat with good toilet and bathing facilities. Dorms are bright and clean. I have actually no criticism to put on the place. I feelt I lived on a five star hotel. Every evening you can enjoy a fantastic sunset where there will be served a small “sunset short”. Great way to get in touch with each other. Every single day there is a new theme for evening with fun and games. If you want to meet new people, have some fun city tours and be part of the Outpost family then you should definitely book a stay. Remember to book well in advance! Home away from home .. Outpost ”

It was my first solo trip in Philippines . I have booked outpost only based on reviews and here I am writing one. Easily reachable - the Van from Puerto princesca will drop you directly at outpost.. Welcome to paradise. Nice music -- from 90's to post melons rockstar .. Amazing cocktails .. Not pricey at all.. Worth every penny . Take the boat tour with them .. The crew is cool and will give you good experience. The people .. Paul , Yuki , Levi , jay , all of them are super cool , helpful and ready to answer any and every question no matter how stupid it is. Close to town .. 50 peso to PUKKA BAR .. They will arrange all transport for you . Have a great experience in el nido .. Keep traveling Cheers Saif :)

Most famous hostel for a reason”

Outpost is a really great hostel. The location is unbeatable, you get amazing sunsets every afternoon. They offer their own island hopping tour which is extraordinary, the food is great, and the staff that goes along is super nice. The food is a bit on the expensive side for El Nido. Be aware that this is a very active hostel, so there is always a lot of people around. The rooms have AC and fan, which is good. And the bathrooms and showers were kept clean constantly. Definetly would recommend if you are looking for a fun place to hang around with people.

After reading a few of these reviews, you already know that this is a party hostel. That can be good for someone looking to party and make new friends. But don't get me wrong, this isn't just your regular party hostel. This place and the staff have soul -- which kind of embodies what El Nido was like for me. I knew I chose the right place when I arrived and everyone exclaimed, 'welcome home!' For those solo travelers looking for a sociable hostel but also enjoy laid back afternoons, this is also the right choice for you. Don't worry, everyone seems to be riding the same wave so when you're looking to chill out, chances are everybody is already lounging in the common area reading a book or staring at the beautiful horizon (or maybe we were all just hungover from the night before haha!). Kidding aside, the staff knows how to take in the beauty and soul of El Nido, so having them around you to take part in your trip will make it more worthwhile. Will definitely go back!

I'm a solo traveler and my first time to stay in a dormitory type hostel. I was hesitating to try OUTPOST because I knew it was a party hostel but I really had to neaby the beach to see the sunset. So I gave it a try! Hahaha. It was a no regret decision! I enjoyed my stay even I wasn't joining the crown in their party downstairs. OUTPOST has second floow where people who prefer reading, browsing internet, playing jinga, watching TV stay. The place is amazing, clean and modern. You'd love their shower/CR area and also your own space in the bedroom. You got your own locker, blanket is thick. They do replace your towel daily. Staff are exceptional. They easily build rapport to almost every guest. If you seem alone they would ask you if you're fine. They are friendly and funny. In my two nights, I easily get along with others regardless of your nationality. Cause we all got that friendly/sociable vibe. Tour packages are worth the cash. They got games, assistance, they would check on you time to time. Food is a bit pricey but waaaah, it tastes good. Really. Servings are doubled.. You'll love this place especially those who want to meet new people and friends. 😍💕

Don’t think, just book!”

As a seasoned traveler who has started to become accustomed to the finer things of life and travel I thought my backpacking days were behind me. But what can I say - Outpost has converted me. My wife and I had a private queen room and only stayed 2 nights as we had booked nights at an Airbnb up the beach. As soon as we checked in, I already wished I could cancel our other booking and stay the whole time at Outpost. Such a warm welcome from the whole staff. Super friendly, super helpful and you feel that their only task on their job description is to make guests have fun!! And they achieve it at every step. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a hostel, not a 5 star hotel. But it’s a bloody great one. If this is in your ‘maybe’ list... don’t think... just book

Outpost will always have a place in my heart! I literally shed a tear as I checked out because I never wanted to leave. The people are amazing, the food is great, the nightlife is lit! The tours are super fun as well! My overall experience was so memorable and I can’t wait to be back next year! Outpost completed my El Nido experience and I’m so happy I got to live the outpost life.

The Best Hostel Ever!”

I was our first time to book on a hostel and gladly we chose the right one. By the time we were greeted by their staff when we arrived I knew that our experience will be fun. We were on a group but we chose a separate private room with my girlfriend. And even their private room was neat, spacious and just cozy. They have the best food from breakfast to late night food. They even do request foods and drinks if available. And what makes them the best hostel in El Nido are their staff. We were assisted and treated like their family throughout our stay. Our trip just gotten better because of them. And if will ever going back to El Nido, we will surely book their place again. Kudos to you guys!

Staying at Outpost was definitely our best decision in El Nido. The hostel has a great party vibe and organizes excellent boat trips. The staff is fantastic, very friendly and fun. After the boat trips, the party starts. We spent Christmas there and guests staying in the hostel got free dinner on the 25th. I definitely recommend it!

an amazing place, everything you need is there, clean and perfect location, i loved the details, the sunset, the atmosphere, the view. the staff is soo friendly, they enjoy what they do so for sure you will have a lot of fun during the tours or in the evenings with different activities everyday, you can't stay in your room because always there is something to do around, if you are traveling alone like me, outpost is the place for your best vacation in el nido

The outpost team are exceptional and run a seamless operation. The facilities are modern, comfortable and clean. Private rooms are great. The common areas are perfect for lounging around and soaking up the picture perfect sunsets. They can arrange for you, or advise you on all that the area has to offer with plenty of unbiased and insider info. Trust them to show you a truly amazing time in El Nido.

Super friendly and efficient staffs, clean room, good place to meet people”

All the staffs in the hostel were extremely helpful. They managed to remember your names and actively asked you if there was anything they could help all the time. I sometimes like to have some quiet time and personal space, so I hid at a corner reading or playing with my cellphone, and very often one of the staffs would carefully approach to make sure I was ok. The pace on El Nido is slow, but once you raised your requests, staffs there always solved it very efficiently. The room was very clean, the bathroom was not too dirty too considering there were so many people using it all the time. You could see staffs cleaning the bathroom and the whole hostel public area from time to time. I was very lucky that during my stay in a 6 bed room, my other roommates respected the space of each other and no one made senseless noises. We ended up good friends and did some of the activities together. The new year party of the hostel was one of the craziest on the island, many of my friends from diving trips came to the hostel for celebration. There were several dogs and cats on the beach and constantly willing to interact with guests. I think the only thing that I think the hostel can improve is when I joined A+B island hopping tour, the snorkeling place was full of jellyfish. I only entered the water for 2 minutes and I got more than 100 jellyfish bites. My body is still full of inching bites and it looks like they will all turn into ugly scars on me soon. If you are someone who end to be allergic to jellyfish bites as me please consider not doing snorkeling when doing island hopping tours, or at least confirm with the crew there is no jellyfish in the water before you jump in. I know they bring people to different locations due to weather or itinerary issues, so maybe you are lucky the place they take you to is different.

I had the best time here. Met some friends along the way. No matter where you are from, it doesn’t matter. They make you feel so welcome and they help you become closer even more. All the staff were so helpful and nice. Food and drinks are a bit expensive. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place to my other friends. And of course, I will definitely come back!
