Pleasantly Surprised”
I really enjoyed my stay here. I was a solo traveler and never been to PG before so I thought I'd give the island a try. Like the island of Puerto Galera, This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I intended to stay for 2 nights but ended up extending it to 6. The hotel is not Beach front and I wouldn't swim on this beach anyway, its not meant for that. Sabang Beach which is where this hotel is located is more for divers. It is up on the hill and it takes a little effort to get to it. Because of that effort you are rewarded with a stunning view of the beach. You can see boats coming and going from the beach. It is such a spectacular view day or night. The room I was in was facing the beach and I think all rooms are. I also had a balcony so I was able to appreciate the view (sorry if I'm overemphasizing) . The rooms are spacious and clean. Great stay in a wonderful located Hotel at Sabang Beach”
Right at sabang beach this „Upper Hill“ located Hotel offers a wonderful view. The Rooms are nice, clean and comfi including a balcony to enjoy the great view. If we come back to Puerto Galera we would definately stay again at Oriental Sabang Hill Resort. Also a big „thank you“ to the helpful and friendly staff.

Made a reservation but they oversold, and we couldn't stay. However, they were very courteous and gave us a room at their sister property. The breakfast, view, and staff were all great!

nice hotel with a quirk”
the hotel is quite nice, rooms are spacious and clean. staff are a little rude. but one quirk with the hotel. it has a beautiful view, but the hotel itself is a pain to get too if you have luggage as there is no road access to the hotel and have to travel across quite sandy areas and the stairs to the hotel are very steep.

I stayed here about 3 times already but there are some things that they do that are really annoying. There isn't an electric kettle in the room so if you want hot water, then you have to go to the bar and then they will charge you for hot water. What the hell! It annoying enough I have to walk to the bar (my room was on the very top terrace because I like the view) but then they charge a fee. The cost is very minimal but it's just annoying that they nickel and dime their customers. Wifi sucks, I have to go outside to get a signal. Aircon super loud, but it keeps the room very cool. The TV is very small (27 inches?). It should be a large investment for them to fix these things and it would then be a great place. But until then, it just OK.

hello, I am mr.kim who is staying at your resort in Sabang beach. staying date : November 23, 2019, ˜ November 25, 2019, room account : 7pieces sorry to say that I have a problem. I lost money. The story goes like this. Date: November 24, 2019, 09:30am, Place: Hill Resort, room number 6. In order for my team to have a picnic at the resort, we went out of the hotel, but i didnt bring my phone, so i came back to Hotel and to my staying room. while finding my phone, i asked hotel female worker to find more thoughly, but she opened a safety deposit box at that time around 9am. But some 1.3 million won(about 1,100 us dollars) was stolen. She got the korean money from the wallet in the safe box. conclusion: Please, I want you to fire the thief. if not, I plan to report in korea.

Good day, Mr. Kim We’ve just read your e-mail. And we would like to elaborate some things to you. The first scenario was you, asking our staff about your phone saying you have lost it, and then you went to your room in search for your phone but it wasn’t there, neither. Minutes later, you told us that you found your phone inside the bag of the girl that you took out from the bar, she was with you the whole time. Next was your passport, you were claiming that it was lost too, and then the next thing was you, telling us that you found it in your luggage. Last was your money, you keep on insisting that our staff was the one to steal it from the safety vault. Sir, if you think that it is our staff who stole your money, isn’t it possible too for the girl from the bar could steal from you? I repeat Sir, she was with you the whole time, besides, our staff told you to go to the barangay police to file a complaint regarding the case, but you insisted and said it’s okay.

This is a safe and good choice for international travellers. Although some rooms in resorts in the Philippines will be dusty or too old, the rooms at Oriental Sabang are not. The rooms are also pretty large, with room for queen size bed area, a refrigerator and TV area, and nicely separate bathroom. Lots of TV channels and no problems at all with reception or picture. Internet worked fine, mainly WIFI in restaurant area. Appears that all rooms look out to the sea, with a great view of Sabang Bay, as did ours. It really is quite beautiful and peaceful. The design of this place is wonderful, and beautiful. Three rooms on each terrace level, all with patios, and on the lowest floor is a very nice pool area, and restaurant area. The restaurant area is done in nice wood, and the pool is very clean. Our food was very good, esp the omelettes, which were very affordable!! Staff is a very strong aspect here also. While some people complain about resorts in the Philippines having no one around, this place is the opposite of that. There are always a few people around, either restaurant staff, or hotel desk staff, or housekeeping. They are generally busy all day, but they attend to your need immediately. The location is also very nice because it is not in the center of town but set off to the side somewhat. As a result, it is perfectly quiet in that area. Overall, a very strong place, with good, safe food, nice decor, a beautiful, clean pool, and very good staff, who are very ready to help their customers.

Great little hotel with fantastic view”
oriental sabang hill hotel is well situated on the quiet end of sabang with a great view of the sea. the staff are friendly and well trained and the food is tasty and well presented. the pool and actiity and dining areas are well maintained an very pleasant in both day and evening. the rooms are simple and clean with good air-con. each room has its own small terrace which is lovely for an evening drink. situated away from the bustle of central sabang it is a quiet restful place to be with easy access to markets and restaurants. be advised there are many steps up the hill to get to the hotel...be prepared to get in shape.

Relaxed and friendly resort”
It was a nice one. I am swedish and it is owned by a swede. Personel was very nice, helpful at all Times. The hotel is located on a Hillside. Not for disabled... Very steep stairs up the Hill...i ended up on top, to t left..room 25. It was Hard to climb. But when you got there..wow what a view over Sabang! The resort is a little bit off track from Sabang centre. Not a big problem though..coz Sabang is a small place w most of the entertainment within walkingdistance. The waterpreassure was kind of poor..sorry to say. room was ok for the amount i paid. I would go back there if i visit Sabang, Puerto Galera again. I used a nice divecompany called VIP for My scubaexperience. Just down the Hill and to the left from hotel....and ha ha..i like heavy metalmusic..the very nice filipinoguy in the bar loved it too..uncommon in the philippines. All in all a nice place,

It was our first time as a couple to travel and PG was our first destination.. supposed to be Boracay but since it shut down we need to book another place for vacation. And we end up booking at oriental sabang at PG. when we arrived at the pier there was a guy who helped us with our bag going to the hotel. Once we were at the hotel the staff offered us welcome drinks which made us feel special.. once we were settled with our payment, we went to our room.. and it was clean. My only issue is everything in their minibar is for sale including soap, shampoo and water. The food was also great. We ate dinner and it was worth paying:) The staff was very very friendly and nice:) I would recommend this to everyone!!

oriental sabang hill is a perfect place to spend your vacation - quit, relaxing and exclusive. however, let's admit that staying in such a wonderful location would mean spending more. i bet the resort's target audience are foreigners, although the staff were very friendly and kind to us (only a few pinoys, i think, were staying there). far from main night happenings, stores, transpo, etc. food were a bit expensive but i think its reasonable (we opted not to eat there all the time to save money hehe) but we enjoyed trips to tukuran and tamaraw falls, especially to the deserted island where our kind bangkero brought us. all items should be paid (towels, bucket of ice, billiards)

The whole experience was fun although I didn't expect that the beach is only for divers. We had to travel for 45mins to have access to what they call the "White Beach" to take a swim. But, if we'd talk about the hotel, their rooms are spacious and comfy. The view was also beautiful. The pool is small but it's clean and nice. The food is quite expensive but if you walk down the market you'll have many options. If you're up to diving then this is the place for you but if you want to experience the beach/seashore and you'll probably have to book a hotel in White Beach Puerto Galera! :)
