Fantastic stay at a well appointed guest house”

We loved our stay at On the Beach Guesthouse. We stayed in the Oyster suite that was large and comfortfortable for a cuple travelling with a young toddler. Our little balcony was child friendly and provided breathtaking views of the sea and wave breaks. It was a thrill waking up to the sound of the sea and being able to take a few steps from the hotel to the sandy beach. Breakfast was a good treat and hot meal choice was just perfect. Would certainly be back!!

On the Beach no exaggeration”

Comfortable 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with lovely view of the beach from the living room, main bedroom and ensuite. A couple of kilometres from the main part of jeffrey's Bay shops and restaurants though, and I'm not sure how soundproof the apartment would be if there were more guests. There is a beautiful shared loungeroom,dining room and bar upstairs in the guest house overlooking the beach which is real plus.

Very enjoyable stay by the beach”

Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay overlooking the beach. The guesthouse is beautifully designed and the staff are extremely friendly and obliging. Spacious room with great balcony views. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Staff, breakfast and location excellent!”

The staff were very friendly and were willing to assist in anything out of their way. Special compliments to Tshepo, who helped to arrange a picnic basket, mat, umbrellas and snacks so that we could have a romantic picnic by the beach just 20m away from the guesthouse. Breakfast was also delicious, especially the Eggs Benedict!

Great location and lovely food”

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved the place. I think our room was the smallest in the hotel. The location is great as you're overlooking the beach - we were lucky to see dolphins from the window. The bar/lounge is very comfy and well stocked. Great choice at breakfast too. Rooms cleaned/tidied every day - cleaners were very thorough. All in all a great stay. Was a bit jealous of our friends who had the honeymoon suite as they had a huge bed, double shower and double bath! Only slight issue was there was no air con in our room, only a fan so we left the patio door open slightly at night. Lovely to hear the sea but the seagulls woke me up early!

Best place to stay in Jeffrey's Bay. Location is amazing and the service is outstanding. Tshepo in particular went the extra mile for us. Will definitely visit again. Could not recommend higher.

Spectacularly amazing”

Wow wow wow. This place is stunning from the beautifully decorated rooms to the upstairs communal living room with the most spectacular views. There is nothing you can fault they have thought of everything you could possibly need . The breakfast is amazing love love love this guesthouse

Good view of the beach”

The experience at this guesthouse was very good. The room and breakfast is amazing. The view of the beach is also something fantastic.

Excellent location”

Directly on beach. Great location with just a 20 minute walk to bars and restaurants-(just right to walk off your evening meal) Good breakfast choice. Nice lounging patio areas. Room a bit dated.

Stunning Location and Luxurious rooms”

we really enjoyed our stay even though only for one night. Our room was beautiful, they were kind enough to upgrade us to an ocean facing suite! Gorgeous views, nice big bed and tub! and underfloor heating made the cold weather bearable! We also had a delicious breakfast the next morning. We will most definitely return!

The hotel is on a beautiful beach.”

The dining room and sitting area was on the second floor. Great for whale watching! During breakfast we even saw a pod of dolphins in the surf! The best Eggs Benedict ever!

Very good place ”

We loved the view is very nice is just in front of the beach and they provide beach towels. we stay only one night but want to be there more.

Lovely to wake up to the waves outside your window. Not so good people walking past your room though. We were in the Whale suite, even though it had a great view, we did have the cleaner right outside our door early in the morning and other guests using the stairs right out side our door. Staff very friendly. Great position.

We only slept here to catch a flight next day- the room was quite tight but clean. There's a beatiful view of the beach from the breakfast area.

Exceptional”

Beautiful suite that was very spacious and had a homely feel to it. Was able to relax and enjoy the views and sounds of the ocean. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff.

Great stay”

Our stay was much too short as we were in transit. We would have loved a few more days as the ambiance was great. Really peaceful with a fantastic view.

Lovely relaxing stay in well equipped apartment”

We had a perfect stay here. The views are amaxing and the apartment was lovely. The children enjoyed their surf lesson with 'Learn to Surf'. We loved the outlet surf shops and our favourite restaurant was Kithen Windows.

Very luxurious room - sea facing . Friendly and extremely helpful staff. Every need catered for. Extremely safe environment.

When we arrived there nobody answered the intercom”

We were dissappointed becasue our booking was not even linked. We booked a luxury room and paid the full amount, but the room was taken and we got a different room
