An accommodation worth every centavo”

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Old Orangewood Inn. The staff members are friendly and accommodating. They also answered all our questions on getting to different places we would like to visit. They also allowed us to use their utensils when we brought food back to our hotel. We also have free breakfast that is very tasty! I also liked how we have a fancy restaurant in front of us. Old Orangewood is also "Instagrammable". In case you enjoy taking pictures, you will enjoy posing at the different spots for your feed. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who goes to Baguio. I will definitely book with them again if I will be visiting Baguio. If there is one thing I would like to be added, that would be a television since there is nothing much to do in the inn. Thank you, Old Orangewood, for making our stay in Baguio and comfortable one!

Quaint home away from home”

Lovely rustic ambiance that evoked a feeling of nostalgia. Wasn't that far from Session Road (less than 10 mins?), but taxi was hard to come by from 7 PM-5 AM. Kind and accommodating staff (yes, they let you leave your bags with them if you arrive before check-in). Clean and spacious room with beds that DON'T feel gross like some hotels/B&Bs. CR was an issue: sink and bidet were leaking so there's always minimal flooding on the bathroom floor every time we used them. The wifi connection on the second floor was also off for some devices (worked sometimes on Samsung, but Apple and Oppo couldn't connect. I used my data our entire stay there). Breakfast was really great though. All-in-all, I enjoyed my stay at Old Orangewood and I would definitely recommend it to others.

The Best Sleep we've had”

It was an amazing bed and breakfast! the room was spacious and their amenities outside the room were the best. They have the best living area/lobby with a fireplace for crying out loud! it was very home-y also. The breakfast was really good also although maybe they could change the coffee to brewed instead of instant next time. :) bonus is the restaurant across the street from this BnB. Their food was very delicious and affordable plus they have the coziest interiors, too. :) The location of this property is very accessible also and relatively quiet for a busy place like Baguio. We will definitely come back within the year on our next visit

Best for Solo Travellers”

I booked their Mt Pulag room which is I guess their only 1pax room. Privacy is guaranteed. The room is at the uppermost part of the building where you could slightly see the mountain day and night. This place is very homey. The staff are good to talk with. I went here during Panagbenga Festival. I asked them to set aside my bThis place is very homey. reakfast since I woke up by 4am to get a space in the street dancing venue, and they are okay with it. You can hail a cab to get here from the town and vice versa for around P60. Just tell the driver 'Lower P. Burgos' as your destination and you can just see this hostel along the road. Or if you are on a budget, you can ride a jeepney near the Baguio City Market with signboards Magsaysay, Pico La Trinidad, or Buyagan and tell tje driver to drop you off at the Brgy Sto Niño. Once dropped off, cross the other side of the road to get to Lower P. Burgos and walk up to the hostel in 5mins.

The Old wood design of the place gives you that real Baguio vibe”

The place is perfect in giving you the atmosphere that you're really in Baguio because of its all wood design and the fireplace is really nice. The staff are nice as well and the play room under the stairs makes my niece happy. If i will only nitpick for them to improve is their breakfast hope they use rice made for fried rice :) but over all the breakfast is good. Will definitely recommend this 👍

Everything had been a breeze during our stay here. The staff are so courteous and friendly, they know their guests by heart. 🙂 The place really gave us the feel of having a vacation at the City of Pines. It was very spacious and children-friendly. The management really took their time in planning for a superb B&B establishment. Will definitely stay here for our next trip in Baguio. 🙂

Greatreat Place to Stay”

We had a great vacation in BaguioBaguio staying at Old OrangewoodOrangewood Bed and Breakfast. The place was calm and quite, except for the "loose" steel drainage cover on the street in front. It always has a "clang" sound whenever a vehicle pass by. Luckily few vehicles pass by and we're somewhat accustomed to such noises. The staff were very polite, jolly, and helpful. It could use a dedicated smoking area, since currently it is also where the open dining area is. It makes it difficult to smoke when there are many people eating or hanging out there. The room is clean and cozy. May not be a 4+ star but it is very roomy, clean and has a home feel. Bathroom is fair compared to other we've experienced. Heater could be better. Location wise, it was hard to get transportation even with Grab (took around 30mins mostly). Better for those who have their own ride. Overall it was a great place to stay. Thank you Old Orangewood! ^^

Great Vacay!”

The place is nice. I noticed that they are very receptive to reviews. So the last reviews I read about not having tv, and not enough room light, instant coffee was served etc were not there anymore. Now there was tv, a lamp inside the room, and overflowing brewed coffee. Breakfast choices were great too! The double bed was too firm for me though. So, that could be improved. Still, all in all the accommodation was great!

We booked the room with twin beds and the area is good enough to move around and place your things hassle-free. Breakfast is also very satisfactory with many options. Receptionist is 24 hours and also has mini store in case you will be needing mid night snacks :) Location is quite far from the center but nevertheless not a concern for those laid back traveller like us :) Most importantly, bathroom has functioning water heater! :) In summary, the place is highly recommendable and a good value for money.

Very Cozy and Homey”

Pros: -Very cozy -feels like home -good for laid back people -Kristine (reception) & AJ are very nice especially AJ. He takes note of the services that we availed. -breakfast is good -worth the price Cons -far from the center, you need to ride a cab each time you go out -take note of your items sent for laundry as it gets mixed up. They weren't able to give back a 1 shirt and a pair of socks. Good thing I remembered it. Then 1 sock was almost lost. I just pushed on them to find it. The lady, Loraine (if my memory serves me right) keeps on insisting us to pay an additional charge because she said that the sock is another set of laundry even if we noted that it just went missing and they just found it on the last day. Good thing AJ was there to note to her that it's from the original laundry set that we availed on our first day. AJ is the one who apologized on her behalf.

Cozy Place”

I booked a solo room (they called it Pulag IRoom) and stayed here for 2 nights. This is perfect for people who wants some privacy but on a budget. For 1k per night, you get a solo room with a fan and get to watch cable tv. It has its own CR with bidet and heater for the shower. Towels and toilettries are also provided. The bonus part is, it comes with a complimentary breakfast. The house is old but clean and cozy esp in the living room and dining room. Improvements can still be done in the Pulag room's CR by repainting the walls and by changing the floor tiles to new ones so it would look more tidy. The wooden floor in the room can be scrubbed so it looks more spotlessly clean. Location wise, it is not near Session Rd. but perfect for laid back travelers. The cab ride is around 60 pesos one way and there are lots of taxis so transportation will never be an issue. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. It is indeed a home away from home.

they accommodated our late check in at 3am. the room was nice and cozy, but with just the basic amenities. towel, soap and tissue were provided. bathroom was a bit old. our room was right next to a school which we can see when we look out the window. the reception area is very cozy with a fireplace. not to mention their alfresco, kind of like a backyard that they made use of, was filled with wooden chairs for chillin out with friends while having coffee. the coffee shop in their restaurant looks decent. its a quaint little place with a very reasonable price. before i forget, they have ample parking space right upfront.

PROS Quiet and calm vibe - several cozy spots to hang out in Unlimited coffee refills until 10:30 AM (for those with the free breakfast option) Bathroom is old but roomy and functional (with a heater) Six Wifi connections - pretty fast too Friendly staff CONS Not very close to the tourist spots (e.g. session road, etc.); if you don't have a car, you would need to hail a cab/ Grab taxi Linens made me a bit itchy No TV Their kitchen closes pretty early, so you need to bring your own food if you get the munchies at night We paid for a Standard Triple, but the beds are not that big so we asked for a mattress or banig... they said it would cost 550 per night which I think is not fair considering we already paid for three persons While the breakfast is filling and convenient since you don't need to venture outside, it's not that tasty..,. e.g. tocino is kinda dry and underwhelming...the fried rice is good though...we would have liked to have a tapa option, but they don't offer it
