Good and safe location. Very helpful and kind staff. I send my teenage son to this hotel and they take care of him and his friends very well.they pick up them at the airport too. And they responded to all my inquiries. Thank you to obrero staff.

I could have given 10/10 if not for the aircon because it is too noisy. But overall, we are satisfied with our stay in Obrero Suites.

Standard new and clean hotel”

Breakfast is okay... There are only 4 options. Home made Longanisa, Hotdog, Corned Beef and Ham with rice and egg. Room size is okay, clean with standard facilities. Staffs are courteous. There are also available tour packages: city tour and island hopping. No lift but the staff will carry your bags. Overall, worth the price.

The hotel is accessible to everything since its in downtown davao..near to malls, food stalls..the bathroom is too small 😂 for chubby girls like me its hard to move in the shower 😂 but all and all its good!

Good place to stay in Davao”

Good place to stay in Davao, very basic but functional rooms. Accessible to all public transportation and near to all usual tourist spots and malls in the city. Staff were very helpful, grateful for that. :) Breakfast options could be improved. Overall stay was good.

I was so surprise when we reached this place, It was so clean and organise, staff were friendly, they help us with our luggage all the way to our room. Free breakfast was good, considering the price of the place.

Good for short stay ”

Only stay for one night. Quite near to night market. We took habal-habal and asked for the average rate from the receptionist. Since we're not local, so definitely the price that given by the driver was expensive. But atleast we can use the average rate as the benchmark. Another plus point was, the staff managed to get me the masseuse for a massage in the hotel room without any extra charges. However, the breakfast provided was so plain and no variety. If you want to stay here, just choose the reservation without breakfast so that you can save your cost. Thanks.

Clean and Comfy”

The place is very clean. The front desk at night is very accommodating and friendly. Most importantly, great location at the heart of the city.

Very good”

In general, stay was pleasant. Free breakfast (limited choices but still ok), water, and use of electric kettle (you can just buy or bring your tea or coffee). There is a nearby store (around 2 streets away) where you can eat grilled tuna for a cheap price. Staff is very accommodating. Wifi speed is ok. Most taxi drivers are not familiar with the place. so the trick is to tell them to go to Palma Gil St then just guide them through maps if your close by. Anyways, you may opt to go public transportation.

Good value for money but staff are noisy”

We loved our stay. The hotel is clean and has everything we needed for our short stay. Our room was on second floor but near the road so we can hear vehicles passing by. That would have been tolerable but the front desk staff were noisy and plays music the entire building can probably hear. I’m happy with the stay nevertheless but the management may need to imoose rules on their staff to be more professional.

Wifi did not work for the most part of our stay. I am an IT myself and it seemed like the hotel needs to contact their IT contractor to do rework on the wifi config. One of the staffs was not so accommodating and to be specific, one of the frontdesk ladies did not seem to be happy working there or was there to do the bare minimum effort. We did not get at least a welcome smile when we arrived (somewhat fine) but every interaction after seemed like a heavy chore. We were charged P50 for each extra pillow we requested. their standard is 1 pillow/person which for most people i think is difficult to bare. so they would almost always have that extra charge from any guest. breakfast was so so, but even for this price point, i'd say they could do better (just a bit) Now for the good part, the place is centrally located, it is not expensive, with free breakfast. the rooms are spacious. and the place is mostly quiet which allows for a good nights sleep after a day of wandering.

Very affordable for a group. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. We hope that there will be more breakfast options in the future.

Nice Quiet Place”

We stayed here for 2 nights. Clean place, smiling staffs, cool air conditioner, comfortable bed but thin sheet as blanket. Soap, shampoo (sachet) and toilet paper provided. Very good shower pressure but hot and cold function erratic. Quiet place for a good night's rest. Simple plated breakfast with a cup of coffee in a small area beside the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The staff were courteous and friendly. I hope for more options for the complimentary breakfast. Free coffee but no creamer.. I loved that there is a water station on every floor. Over all it's good, there's only one thing that irked me, before confirming my reservation, i checked if they will issue an OR, theyassured, however they didn't inform me that it will be mailed because the BIR hasnt released their OR yet. So i had to wait for them to mail me the OR. Which they did anyway. I just wish they informed me before hand..

We booked two (2) rooms for one (1) night. However, one of these rooms has a malfunctioning aircon unit. We asked for a room change but they gave us a portable cooler instead. We just thought that there is no vacant room as we received no explanations. Anyway our stay is still good.
