Beautiful quiet hotel with river view and remarkably hospitality ”
Nusa Holiday Village is located 10 minutes out of Kuala Tahan on the river next to Taman Negara NP. They offer a free shuttle service. So it’s no problem to get around. The place is quiet, away from the crowds and the backpacking trouble of Kuala Tahan. Mista Arif and all the staff try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We got upgraded from Garden View to River View, the air con was freezing cold and the room was nice. Although the bathroom could have get a clean before we checked in. The bathroom had seen better days in general. But you absolutely forget about that as soon as you sit on your porch, watch the boats going up and down stream along the Taman Negara forest. The food in the NHV is delicious and cheap. Thank you Mista Arif and all the guys in Nusa Village. All the best for your family.

Quiet and beautiful stay at the waterside”
Our stay was amazing! There were no other tourists so we could pick the house we want, we booked river view and this was absolutely the most amazing spot of the already amazing location of Nusa Holiday Village. Right at the river side, we would go for a swim in the river in the morning as a shower. Nice breakfast, the staff was friendly. The room was basic but had everything we needed, and even a hot shower and AC which we did not expect.

The location is quite far from town. But, many activities can be done here. U can go fishing, boat ride, swim at Jeram Abai. Owner and staffs are so friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing place, Nusa Holiday Village is the place for you.

Basic but good value for money”
The Nusa Holiday Village had just reopened after the floods from the year before. The restaurant was not stocked but the basics were there. The staff was very friendly and the surroundings are beautiful.

Great accomodation but difficult for night walk”
The last boat from Kuala Tahan to Nusa Village leaves at 6.20pm. If you want to do the night walk in the Jungle, you need to arrange for a boat that costs 120RM. The Manager of Nusa Village, Mr. Roslin agreed to pick us up with his jeep instead. Unfortunately, he forgot about us! and we were only picked up one hour later. In addition, the day we checked out, he suddenly wanted 100RM for the pick-up, which had not been discussed before. We had an unpleasant conversation with him and he just tried to get money from us.

Great Forest Escape.”
Location at riverbank of Taman Negara. Surrounded by thick forest, got small river across the resort. Friendly staf, good breakfast. Only problem was the road from main road to the resort is gravel type and no proper lighting, so it is a bit of offroad experience. Recommended for nature lover.

Back to nature”
We booked a riverside view chalet which was exactly that - fantastic views across the river to pristine forest. The room was simple but clean, with aircon (hardly needed), fan and some warm water. Spacious double bed and we had a mattress on the floor for the kids. No mosquitoes here, but further away from the riverside there were quite a few. Food was OK (nasi lemak, pancakes, toast, sausages, etc for breakfast) but we tired quickly of the limited menu. Their guide Aja was excellent and gave us an interesting and easy nightwalk that the kids enjoyed. Shooting the rapids on the boats was a lot of fun and orang asli village interesting but far too many tourists there (including ourselves of course). Wildlife is there but hard to see - Rhino Hornbills, several troupes of gibbons calling, etc. Main negative for me (no fault of the resort) was the road development cutting through forest behind the resort. I cannot believe how blind and ignorant the Pahang State Government has been in doing this development in the Taman Negara buffer zone and one of the country's key international tourism destinations, fragmenting key habitat and silting the river.

great jungle experience ”
Great location! Beautiful nature surrounding this lodge and only the trip towards it with longtailboat is worth to go for this hotel. Nice place to destress, to go to the jungle. Food is okay, friendly persons. Room basic, fan, shower gets nice temperature, really in the middle of the jungle. We Would go again for this hotel if going back to taman negara Not for the spoiled and very luxurios traveller

A pleasant stay in the jungle”
I stayed for four nights at Nusa and I had a wonderful time. Nusa is situated apart from Kuala Tahan , which makes it a quite place inside the jungle. The Restaurant serves nice food and Asri is eager to help you with any issue. So far there was no WIFI, which is the only thing you might have to consider when planning your trip.

NUSA Simply Great”
We had a good Christmas holiday at Nusa. Simple and traditional Malay village concept resort located next to Templing River. Blissful and awakening place and the Management really need to work out on the infra. The address given by the sales team is their old office address which is located in Jerantut and we took 1/2 hours to find the actual address. The customer service out of the first water. Friendly and helpful staff. The food quite cheap compared to other places in Kuala Tahan. The food wasn't bad, but need some improvements. The overall experience with Nusa was good and will recommend for those who are looking for new experience.

Wonderful place to stay!”
We received a warm welcome by the owner of the resort himself, En Ariff. After check in, we were given a briefing on the activities that can be done on our own and with a guide. A very friendly person in nature, he shared many stories and experiences with us. Breakfast was included in our accommodation. Arranged for a boat to the Orang Asli village with a free tour by himself. No mosquitoes at night. Hot water pressure not so high. Upon check out, we were sent off to the main road without any fee. A truly valuable choice that we stayed here. Highly recommended to those looking for a budget and adventurous trip. Ariff's mobile number - 0179225223

Beautiful Resort 15 Minutes from Tourist Hotspots”
We had a great experience in the jungle. The place was clean and its location excellent compared to the main entrance to the park with its tourist only village. The rooms offer all you need and was clean. At night you could experience the jungle and all its sounds. Really enjoyed the stay and would go again.

Nice, quiet, relaxing place, closest to the Jungle”
Our stay was perfect. We wanted a relaxing jungle stay, and we had that! For us perfect the location, away from all the business of Kuala Tahan, Nusa Holdidays was peacefull place in the Jungle. Perfect for peaple whom does not need much comfort and entertainment. The food was great, simple but tasty. We stayed there 6 nights, and we loved it! And the service was perfect, our Guide took us where ever we wanted. And above that: the price is very friendly, good quality for our money!

Great location, great welcome - but needs some serious maintenance!”
Nusa camp is a basic level accommodation for those who dont mind a near-camping experience. The location has fantastic views over the Tembeling River and is much quieter than Kuala Tahan. The families that run the place are exceptionally welcoming, helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately the chalets need serious overhaul to bring them up to a satisfactory international standard. In our case, the AC did not work (zero cooling effect), the electric water heater shower did not work, I had to use pliers to get the other unheated shower tap to open, the toilet cistern leaked and the washbasin drainage washes your feet while you are washing your face... Our friends had similar issues in their chalet, including no water on their last morning. Road access is possible - the turning is signed to the right about 1 km before Kuala Tahan - but you need to be confident about driving on road surfaces that are broken, rough and steep in places. Ideally 4WD.

Ordeal”
When we arrived at the town there was no one to take us to Nusa and no one seemed to know what to do. Finally a travel agent called Nusa and complained that our problem was common -- he said that he often had to call Nusa. We were told that someone would arrive in ten minutes -- and after an hour someone arrived. Then we found that we would have to pay extra fees or taxes to get a room -- but what could we fo? The air conditioner in our hut did not function properly -- while we had supper, it soaked our mattresses with water. It had no thermostat and during the night, our room became too cold. We turned off the air conditioner and turned on the fan but the fan could not be adjusted and the wind was too powerful for sleeping. We turned off the fan and the room became too hot. We endured this room for two nights with little sleep. We spent two nights in another room but the that room's air conditioner also had no thermostat and sleeping was difficult. We experienced many other problems with staff, restaurant, broken fixtures in the room -- making our stay at Nusa an ordeal. We were charged an extra tax or fee beyond our reservation amount and also a fee for transportation by boat to the park -- Nusa is an extremely bad value. We stayed for two more nights in a chalet in town for far less and had a really good experience. Hiking in the park is great!

The best place”
This place is hidden from the centre but it's a gem! The owner was extremely kind arranging transportation and activities for us and we had the best time! Our room faced the river, and room itself was comfortable with sufficient amenities! No mosquitoes for sure!! And we could have our meals at the on-site restaurant! So yes, this place was the perfect escape for us!!!

Friendly staff but smell in the bathroom”
We had a good stay in Nusa, the river view is amazing... But the bathroom was smelly. Good food but not so much choice because it was low season. To conclude, it is a bit pricy for what it is..!

Good value for money”
The place is a bit run down but the room we stayed in was ok - beds were clean and everything worked. However we were fortunate to have one of the more modern rooms - the others looked a bit the worse for wear. Location is fantastic on the river and great views from the dining area.
