Good location with clean rooms and friendly staff”

My stay was overall good. The room was clean and fits 3 very comfortably. The only issues were (1) we checked-in around noon and was told to come back at 2pm. We came back at 3:10pm and it still wasn't ready. I was told to understand that they couldn't clean all the rooms at the same time in the noon-3pm timeframe (despite having already checked-in at before noon and normal checkin-in time being 2pm). Even better was they couldn't even give me a time as to when it would be ready. After some pestering, they finally gave us a room 10 minutes later, which made me wonder what internal communication issues they have. (2) The second issue was the electricity went off completely in the room, but we called the front desk and the problem was resolved immediately. The location is a very good one, close to Chatelet and Les Halles stations, with access to RER trains and many subway lines. The hotel has good security and is close to many shops on Rue Rivoli. There are also a number of sites within walking distance - the Pompidou, Notre Dame, and slightly further down, the Louvre. The staff was very friendly overall and gave good directions to places we needed to go.

Great location, comfortable bed, room a bit small”

Great location, usually stay at Citadine next door but managed to get a very good rate at Novotel by booking a year ahead. Breakfast is excellent, hotel very convenient next to Chatelet-Les Halles station - Exit Berger. There is construction outside the hotel, but don't bother us as we are out and about while they are at work. Staff are great, excellent service and all smiles throughout.

Very well sitauated near plenty Paris attractions.”

my daughter and i stayed for 5 nights and found the hotel to be very well sitauated. very near st germain where we most most evenings to eat and walk and also close to gay and jewish areas. les halles is buzzing and will be even better once new shopping centre opens around train station (right opposite the hotel). unfortunately novotel les halles does not offer twin rooms and the sleeper bed was extremely hard but large clean room, well serviced and we enjoyed our stay.

Great location and spacious rooms for a 4 * Hotel”

great value for money as the rooms are spacious (1 double bed and a sofa bed) and could fit 3 pple. room and bathroom was clean and bigger than yr average 4* paris hotel. great location as its right at forum les halles where the subway (mainb station to change for lots of lines as well) is, shopping centre and lots of boutiques, cafes and restaurants round the corner.

Great Location- Next to Metro”

i stayed at novetel paris les halles hotel for 4 nights, the rooms are relatively big- next to the queen sized bed, there was a sofa bed. it was clean and had basic amenities. the room is very simple and basic. hotel is also very convenient and well located. 1-2 minutes walk to the metro. i would say that it is probably a 3- 3.5 star hotel. there was nothing particularly good or bad to point out and the hotel stay is not the most memorable. would i stay here the next time in paris? yea, probably so if the price is decent.

Enjoyed my stay at this incredibly central hotel. The Les Halles is just outside the front door and the area is surrounded by good places to eat, drink, and explore. Within walking distance to the Louvre, Centre Pompidou, and Notre Dame!

good option”

Its a nice hotel, with a big lobby- a rare thing in Europe-. The location its fine, and within 10 to 15 minutes walk, you are near de Seine, Louvre, Notre Dame, Rue Rivoli, etc. One thing we like in this hotel in the interior garden. We can stay there in the end off the day ( it was September, so the temperature was fine) and enjoy the silence, forget that te hotel its in Paris center. The staff was nice helping you, and with a reasonable english. If someone wants to visit Paris, i think this hotel its the good option. Very close to the hotel there is a large number of restaurants, from french, to italian, chinese, thai or cuban cuisine. And Les Halles are just 5 steps away....

Beautiful Hotel in a Lovely Location”

i booked this hotel after moving out of my previous hotel in paris which was way below par. this hotel represents good value for the price paid due to the modern furnishing and the superb location. it is minutes away from the famed lourve museum which houses the mona lisa! concierge is friendly and helpful and breakfast is great!

Novotel les halles”

my sister , daughter and i stayed there for our first time and found the hotel very conveniently located as it's very central what with the lourve nearby. right in front , almost, is the chatelet metro station which can take you to almost anywhere in paris. although it;'s a little dark and slightly confusing , the metro is the best way to travel as traffic can get very crazy within paris. there are lots of restaurants and local cafes all around and even reasonable asian food available in the vicinity. there were several japanese/chinese restaurant with great yakitori that's very reasonably priced. great for a quick tasty meal.

A very nice and convenient hotel”

Truly Novotel Paris Les Halles Hotel have exceeded my expectation. The room is comfortable, the hotel is situated very near to the main train station and their service is excellent!

Strategic location and nice hotel”

very comfortable hotel. clean and neat, strategic location near shopping center and eatery. located at 1st arrondissement, paris feel is so strong there. Staffs are very welcome and helpful also. will come back to this hotel for sure for next trip

Great location next to subway”

Once past the painfully slow check-in, it was great. Rooms were small for the price, but Paris is overpriced in general. Excellent breakfast. Construction next to hotel meant the walk to the hotel is not that pleasant as there was the stench of urine everywhere.

Next time go to paris i'll stay this hotel again.just 15mint walk to louvre musseum,10 minit walk to notre dame and 10minit walk to seine river.shopping area just near the hotel.

Modern hotel, excellent location”

Modern hotel located near the Louvre museum. We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay at the hotel.Check in and out was fast. Room was large and clean. Easy access to Metro. Wifi was free and fast. Many restaurants nearby. The only negative point was the construction site opposite the hotel.Although the construction was in progress during the day time, we were not disturbed by any loud noise.

Good location but small room”

novotel is near 2 meto stations- one at forum les halles and obe in front of the hotel... the construction in front of the hotel is an eye sore. the room is crowded but its clean. (not the cleanest). they also fix the rooms and offer free wifi service which is great. the staff are friendly enough to help with any questions.

Comfortable and convenient, even for a long stay”

My family of 4 was well taken care of throughout the 7 nights at novotel. Even with the construction going on at forum des halles, it wasn't such a nuisance since we left the room early in the day. We were given an upgrade without extra cost because we had an additional guest (4th) who was only able to confirm after we made the reservation. I believe it was because of our long stay and the fact that we accepted a "noisier" room. The staff were great as well, always nice to be greeted with a warm "Bonjour" every morning.

Good Location”

Near the Station Les Halles, so it's easy to get food and shopping. However there's constructions going when I was there so you kind of have to walk around for taxi. Around 15 min walk to Louvre. One of the few hotel with room that can fit 4 (with children), because they have sofa bed that can be converted into extra bed

Good Location”

Right above the Chatelet/Les Halles railway station and next to the Forum shopping area. Lots of good cafes and bars nearby. No pool and a small gym. Food in restaurant/bar/garden was good but staff seemed harassed at breakfast time, which had the same variety day in and out so if you are there for more than a couple of days it becomes a bit samey! Rooms small but modern, clean and functional.
