Lovely place to stay and an amazing host”

I loved the approach to the eco friendly side of the owner and the space of the rooms. well equiped too.

we both enjoyed the stay very much. the rooms are very appealing and clean. has all the amenities one would need to be able to enjoy a restful stay. it is very central to many main locations and the host is extremely helpful in giving you directions.

Cottages”

Absolutely shocking. Terrible neighbourhood /location.According to the map and address on your site we found the following: In low cost housing / industrial sites. No security and I don't believe my car would still be there after an hour. No reception. No amenities. No contact details. Filthy rooms. Could not even find someone to speak to. Perhaps the address 702 to 706 Chris Hani Road, Durban is wrong. Had to find alternative accommodation which cost twice as much as these cottages. Very unhappy. By far the worst experience with on line booking ever. I know there is a policy regarding refunds but in this case I believe I have been ripped off big time. I cannot impress upon you what terrible accommodation this is and recommend that you remove them from your site with immediate effect. I will submit pictures via your website.

Terrible ”

It is a terrible place and I am surprised that Agoda actually does business with this place. Has 3 aircons and none work. The main bedroom did not have a headboard or continental pillows to sit up against. There was no globe in the toilet. There was no door to the toilet but a curtain instead. There were no towels. I had to ask for toilet paper. There was no sanitary bin.The tv was so outdated that my dvd player could not connect. The unit itself was shabby and untidy. The linen was old and the place has been poorly maintained. I am a regular visitor to Durban and thus far this place is the worst I have stayed at. The owner needs some help in how to run a place. I suggest someone from Agoda pay this place a visit to get a better idea. Definitely not going back even if I was paid to do so.

I basically need a clean and safe place to sleep over on a 2 day vehicle trip. I prefer to not unpack my vehicle during this period. The safety of this location was very suspect; and I had to unpack my vehicle. I was very aware that the accommodation was very basic, but there was an option for a 3/4 bed with no self catering; which suited me fine. I was placed in a room with 3 small single beds (with rudimentary) self catering facilities. The most disappointing aspect was the shower which did not spray, but leaked excessively on the unions. My arrival was late by almost 2 hours from my projected time due to a huge detour near Port Shepstone due to a service delivery road blockage. But it did not seem as if the personnel at the Guest House was ready for my arrival. I will definitely not book accommodation here again.

good for group for cheap stay, but the place is a bit outdated”

It is located outside the town, it was save, good for backpackers to sleep, but a bit outdated, no wifi, some facilities in kitchen not work anymore, and some things work half as they are damaged. Depending on your purpose, for sleep and not to picky it is ok, if you expect full quality this place is maybe not for you
