Value for money in Rome”

This hotel has three different buildings. Prefer Central 1! Good coffee and luxury "petit-pain" as breakfast. However we prefer a hotel nearer to metro; because a siesta (12:00 - 15:00) in the airco-room is necessery on hot summerdays if you want to enjoy long evenings in the centre of Rome. Because you need 4 mtro-rides! We arrived very late but the reception (Central 1) was open.

I travelled with wife and 2 young children and found 2 additional bed in a big room. Best suited for my requirement in less price

close to train station and small drogery”

as we came from termini, we have to walk the long way, but then we know, that the hotel location is closed to thw train station to termini and other direction. close to small supermarket and room is not loud.

Basically got what we paid for”

We stayed at Hotel Center 2 for 3 nights. It was the cheapest we could find so not much expectations. The big disappointment was the leaking roof and water from the bathroom was flowing into the room. Breakfast was great. Great tasting croissants. Many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Would recommend but dont get the rooms in the upper most floor. Mga kabayan kung naghahanap kayo ng murang matutuluyan subukan nyo ang hotel na ito.

Good Value of Money”

We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Center 2. The room was clean and decent. Shower was fine. Staffs were friendly. Unfortunately the hotel didn't offer a free wifi and the room wasn't soundproofing that we could hear the noise from our neighbor's room. Even if the location is a walking distance from Termini station but it was still not too convenient to walk that far.

Budgeted hotel, close to Termini, nosiy around”

Not too far from Termini, approx 8-10 mins walk without any luggages. Hotel staff is nice and helpful. Only 5 mins free internet every day. Surrounding areas are noisy. With the price and location, it's value for money.

Dont book ”

We were a family with two rooms, my brothers and i in a room with 3 beds, one of them was broken, you dont control the heater everytime we wanted to turn it on we would go to the reception and ask (the telephone in the room does not reach the reception) there was barely any hot water even though we were promised to be. The room is VERY dim (3 yellow lights) with no sun coming in which really bothered me. The bathroom for the double room (my parents) was really small barely fits one comfortably. The breakfast never changed - cheese, ham, eggs, croissant and coffee. No more no less. Last, the “lobby” is 3 tables 6 chairs. Worst hotel ever.

My staying at Hotel Center 2”

Awful time at the hotel. Staff was polite but my experience wasn't good. Arrived on Friday and after 30 minutes waiting cause they couldn't find my booking I got checked into a room which was OK. I had to rush out to go for a few meetings and when I went back to catch up on some sleep the bed had 2 single mattresses joint together which meant I didn't close one eye the whole night. I asked to be given a room with a proper double bed and in the whole hotel there is only 1 room with 1 double bed (not split): ridiculous considering it's a hotel and they could invest their money on new mattresses. Anyway, I got given another room which had broken window. Back again to the reception and given another room which stank of smoke. I had enough at that time, left the the window open so that the room could get some fresh air in and let the smell of smoke out. This was on Sunday cause Saturday I was that tired I stopped at a friend's place to make sure the bed was good.....don't book it.

The hotel is nice and reasonably priced but the area is on the down side. ”

The area is not so nice. So it is best to come in group. The hotel is close to the main Terminal and that is a plus. You have to pay for wifi per device and the wifi is not so good. The room is small and the lighting poor. The room walls could do well with some painting. The staff is ok. Same thing for breakfast every day. Breakfast variety is poor. Lots of noise from the trains during day and night. But the price is ok and reasonably if you just want a place to sleep and shower in Rome

Such a bad experience, every facility has got the money even WIFI in the room. Dirty room with open window in winter season. Very bad .

Great hotel for night traveler”

We chosed this one because of location, it's located by the main train station where are also the busstops for buses which drive to and from airport. It was ideal for us, because our airplane landed late night, around 23:30, till 1 we were in our room. The room was not so big, not so modern, but for one couple 23/24 it was perfect. Aircondition functioned whole night, we could not stop them and that was not so nice. Cleaning woman cleand our room every day( maked a bed), but she did not change towels. The reception works 00/24 (+++). For sweet-breakfast-lovers, breakfast is perfect. For others (like me) ther is only ham and chees. But coffe mashine and fresh espresso annuled this. All in all, not so clean, not so diverse breakfast but for this prise we would stay there again.

A budget hotel close to Terminii.”

A budget hotel in the less desirable area of town but handy and close to Terminii station. Easy access to/from the airport and within walking distance of all the roman attractions (10 mins to Terminii, 20 min to the Coliseum, 30 min to the Spanish steps). Don't let first impressions put you off as it did grow on me as I came to understand how things operated and where to walk. The entrance foyer is delightful and the small elevator and narrow passageways quaint, a bit of a rabbit warren. My room was large, clean but very spartan in terms of decor ans a bit shabby. The bed was very comfortable. The room (3rd floor) had a balcony with views across the street adjacent to the railway line and over the rooftops of part of Rome, quite nice. The street below was noisy. While double glazing was provided (to cut the noise), the air conditioning did not work so needed to sleep with the balcony door and bathroom windows open, quite noisy all night with the trams running along the street below and the garbage collection/sirens at intermittent intervals. Didn't worry me too much, I can sleep through anything when tired. No controls for the air conditioner in the room and when I inquired of reception I was told that there was a fault ant that the air conditioner occasionally turned itself off. They promised to turn it on but it did not work once in the 3 days I was there. The breakfast was excellent and served in a small rooftop cafe - self serve including meat cheese , a hot egg dish, sweet and davoury croissants and a coffee machine or an espresso prepared for you as you preferred. Definitely a plus and made the accommodation even better value. There is a safety deposit box at for each room at he front desk and they give you the key to hold, so reduces the worry of carrying everything of value around Rome. It is a budget hotel in a handy location so take that in to account. Probably not for families but if you just need a base to sleep and have breakfast it is excellent. Pro

A bit of let down. ”

Wifi is not free as advertised. Only one of 4 staff that i interacted was polite and friendly, the rest is just there to make a living. Worst, the elevator did not reach my room above the 4 th floor. With big luggages, expect weak knees...😩

It’s a very good hotel but don’t check in at night”

The first night was ruined because the customer service staff who was on night shift couldn’t speak proper english and was not very nice. Anyway, they made us spend our first night at a neighbouring hotel because something was wrong with their room. He told us to check in and check out as per normal - meaning we have 10am till 2pm with our big baggages and no where to go. He was munching his honeydew when he was helping us. It turns out he was just a waiter but somehow ended up behind the reception desk at night. They also have 3 hotels and the hotel we “checked in” on our first day wasn’t the hotel we were supposed to be at. And the guy didnt tell us. But its just him, the receptionists in the day are really nice. Just avoid checking in at night at Hotel Center 1. Don’t expect too much out of breakfast. Not that close to the train station. A good 10 - 15 minutes walk. The paths are not exactly luggage friendly too...

there were not best things about that hotel. OK i have choose hotel center 123 cause it was looking close to the termini of Rome which i needed cause i was flying early at the morning. when i reach Roma termini from Florence it took me 25 minutes walking to reach Hotel center 1 and then they in form me that my booking was for Hotel center 3 another 5 minutes walking !!! so my plan was to walk 8 minutes to find the hotel and in reality was 30 minutes walk from the termini. I was wondering how my supposed to walk back 30 minutes thru that street at 5am in order to get the train for the airport??? anyway i have found the hotel center 3? the people at the reception were very kind and helpful to find as a taxi for the next morning to get to the airport cause the were no possible way to walk all that road back to the termini at 5am !! and after that we went to our room ??/ and here i rest my case !!!! oh my God !! i think the fare price for that is 10. and after 12am i have found that there is a night club under the hotel and you can't sleep !! hahhahaa so unless all the hotels at termini area is booked then go there.

A budget hotel”

This hotel is not easily walkable to termini station as one may think, and the location is not the best in Rome. It is a budget hotel, with breakfst, but no free wifi and not very convenient as taxis can be expensive!

Small room with payed wifi, but great location”

Hotel is a Great place to sleep while sightseeing. If you want to relax you made two mistakes. First it is impossible to fully relax in Rome, because of traffic and train station nearby. Second this is not a hotel for vacation, room which we had was very, very Small, with half widndows, nit comfortable enough, but if you want only sightseeing it's ok;)

Reasonable location”

Came to Rome from Paris on the overnight train but got lost as we came out from the wrong exit of the train station. However, after we were pointed to the right direction, found the hotel easily enough. Happy to know that it was about 15 minutes walk from the train station. Unfortunately, the road condition from the train station to the hotel is mainly cobblestones and potholes, with many intersecting roads, so there was a lot of having to carry our luggages over the pavements and holes. The cobblestones were murder on our luggage's wheels as well. Reached Hotel 1 first, and thought it was the end of our travails, but were informed, politely and courteously, that we were booked into Hotel 2 instead. There is a long flight of stairs down to the hotel lobby, and we had to negotiate that flight of steps again, only to meet the similar flight of stairs at Hotel 2, a short distance away from Hotel 1. The room was quite cosy and big, but the bathroom/toilet was very small in comparison. You need to pay a deposit for the TV remote control before you can even turn it on, and the receptionist advised us that it only had Italian channels, and advised against getting the remote control even. The hotel was near the Santa Maria Majorie, so that's a plus I guess. The hotel was partnered up with local tour agencies that provided day trips to the Coliseum and Vatican City, which was quite convenient. However, these are subject to availability, like the St Peter's Basilica being closed on the whims and fancy of the church without prior warning. NO refund given to us either! Otherwise not too bad a hotel, but the location is situated along the back alley, so that was not too good...

The worst!”

There is nothing nice to say about this hotel, i would not even attempt to call it one, it is in a pretty awful location, only consoltation is that is in walking distance to the main train station....but so are many other nicer ones. don't go!
