Great Value”

Nice place to stay. Easy access to almost everything if you have a motorcycle. If arriving by bus, there’s several MC rental places in the buildings around the bus station. Down the road is Big C, Robinson's/Central and further down is the White Temple. Bungalows are a nice size for 2 people. Everything worked and was clean. The WIFI was excellent. Hotel arranged taxi to airport for early in the morning @ 200 Baht. Printer in office broken so couldn’t print our boarding passes. Restaurant with good food just down the street. It doesn't look like much but is well deserving of it’s 4.5 stars. We'll definitely stay here if we return to Chiang Rai.

Excellent place... we were very nicely surprised and completely satisfied. There are two separate yards surrounded with cottages (yes...there are cottages almost in the city center :). We stayed at the first block, cottage 104... The cottage was spotless - small table with sitting outside, TV, AC, bathroom with hot shower attached, towels & toiletries provided, small desk, a mirror, and there's even a small fridge. Free stable WiFi. Free tea & coffee at the reception. All that for 400 THB (our even just 340 if booked via agoda) (March 2017). We liked the location as well - downtown (night market, bus terminal) is walking distance. B2 hot pot&grill restaurant (ร้าน 2B หมูจุ่มบุฟเฟ่ต์) is about 5 minutes walk. There are some other food shops and even public laundry machines at the same street/round the corner. 100% recommendable.

Great value, but far from center ”

This is actually a perfectly fine budget Thai hotel with private bath, fridge, hot water, and AC and a good value. However, the location is just not good. It's only about a 15-20 minute walk to the city center clock tower area, which isn't too bad but you have to cross a major 5 lane highway to get there. There also isn't much around the hotel in terms of food, local eats, or any stores except for a coffee/ice cream shop so you always have to cross the highway and walk a bit to get something. This would be a good option if it was in a better location as the room was clean, bed was comfy and they even offered to clean the room and give us new towels. Would only really recommend if you have your own transport or if nothing else is available, like for us on New Years Eve.

We loved the room, it was a tiny cabin with ensuite bathroom. It was clean and we had the option of getting it cleaned every day. As well we were given new towels and a couple of bottles of water everyday. Staff was alright but could have been a bit more helpful. Wouldn't mind to repeat in this place.

easy to find 50 mtr near the highway a few restaurants nearby and on the otherside of the highway were you can find the center greenbus also a couple of minutes away rooms have a flushing toilet and a nice hot shower good bed an a closet for your clothes free coffee and tea also provided and some cheap noodles, chips, shampoo and soft drinks (also beer and wine) good place to stay a couple of days to explore the quit town believe me it's much better than Bangkok

You stay in a very cute, little house with its own bathroom. There is a good restaurant very nearby & cheap laundry facilities. We enjoyed our stay here.

El hotel era muy lindo, acogedor y seguro, contaba con guardias que rondaban... era cómoda y amplia, si bien no estaba encima del centro es aproximándome a 10 min del centro y del terminal de bus. El servicio muy amable 100% recomendable

Die kleinen Bungalows + Hotel sind durch eine wenig befahrene Seitenstraße erreichbar.Tagsüber hört man zwar den leichten-gelegentlichen Verkehr aber das stört wirklich nicht.Spätestens mit beginnendem Abend gewinnen die vielen zwitschernden Vögel die Oberhand.Durch die Palmen und übrige Bepflanzung wirkt alles wie eine kleine Oase wenn man bedenkt das man ja eigentlich fast mitten in der Stadt ist.Durch die viele Flora war auch die Außentemperatur(überraschend) sehr angenehm frisch.Aus diesem Grund braucht man kaum die Klimaanlage die übrigens sehr leise ist.Das Bette ist o.k.-der Kühschrank ist mini aber ausreichend.Der Schrank war eher "bäh"......ziemlich kaputt mit nur einem Kleiderbügel und müffelte etwas.Also die Sachen eher im Reisegepäck lassen.Das kleine Bad erfüllt(wie auch das ganze Zimmer) die Mindestanforderung.Heiss duschen kein Problem. Trotzdem(Schrank) alles in allem sauber wenn auch schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen). Die Lage "Zentrum" ist eher geschmeichelt.Zum eigentlichen Zentrum sind es zu Fuß ca. 2Km und man muss etwas abenteuerlich eine 2x2 spurige "Stadtautobahn" überqueren.Eine Fußgängerbrücke oder beampelter Fußgängerübergang...Fehlanzeige.Bis zum nächsten 7-Eleven ca. 500m Fußmarsch. Fazit:Für superkleines Geld eine nette Unterkunft mit sehr viel Thailand charm.
