Really enjoyed our stay at New destination homestay. The owners were very kind, reccomended top spots to visit in Hoi An, served really good breakfast with coffee and simply helped us with everything. The room was tidy, had clean towels and bedclothes. Highly recommended!

Our stay in Hoi An new destination was fantastic. It’s a 10 min drive from the city center and 20 if you rent a bike which is a much better option I would say. There is not much tourist, it’s very quiet and the neighbourhood is lovely. The owners will go out of there way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet place a bit away from all the tourists in Hoi An old town.

I would recommand it to every people staying un hoi an ! Amazing beautiful comfortable and quiet room in an handsome neighborhood on an island 3min away from the center by scooter. The breakfast is also really good and you can buy really low price and good food There ! It is definitly the best homestay we have done ! Don't miss this !!

Exceptional”

We stayed here for 2 nights, the place is basecally brand new, they open theier doors 1 mounth ago, everything si new! Extremely clean and you got everything you need! Great location as is very chilled! And just 12 minutes drive to Hoi An city centre by walking path . The price is just great including breakfast compareing with other places around which are very expensive and not even half as good! And on top of everything the host ia just amazing! She and her husband did all they could to make sure we have a great stay there. She speaks very good english and helped us with absolutely everything! Totally recomend!!✌

Warm welcome and good stay”

We booked the hotel in the evening and realised after booking that it’s not possible to get to the Homestay by taxi. She immediately contacted us and offered to send her father and brother with the motorbike to pick us up. Amazing! Very warm welcome and felt at home straight away. She took the time to explain us everything, we rented a bike and joined family dinner one night. Really kind family that made us feel very welcome and that made our time in Hoi An very nice. Thank you so much for this great experience, best stay in Vietnam so far!

Tuan organised a taxi and a motorcycle to get me from Da Nang Airport to New Destination. I arrived a little late because my plane was delayed. Getting on hubbies motorcycle to go across the two bike-only bridges was the most adventurous sunset. Your a 10 - 15 minute bicycle ride out of the Old Town. New Destination sits a couple of streets back off an estuary it village life, it's peaceful and relaxing and the kids are great too ... soccer in the street ... breakfasts are really good ... and there's always Netflix if you choose to stay in at night. Highly recommended!!!

Traveled for two months through Southeast Asia. I think this was my favorite stay. The host Tuan made me really feel at home and helped me so much. Even got a really good deal at one of the tailors who is a friend of hers. Probably paid like 30% less than other people I talked to. The house where she lives with her husband and her two little children is very nice and modern. Basically everything is tiled and what really caught my eye was how tidy and clean it was after almost two months in Asia have seen a lot and I almost couldn't believe how clean it was. Location is two or three kilometers from the center in a nice Vietnamese neighborhood. Can rent scooter or bicycle from her to get to the town. I will definitely come back to Hoi An and for sure stay at her place again. Straight 10/10

A great stay in calmer neighborhood”

Great value for this price! Facilities are new, the family is very kind and helpful, cheap bicycles - you really need them to go to Hoi An, best omlette for breakfast so far in Vietnam for us ;) , AC and WiFi. Maybe not for long sleepers as there's a workshop running outside after 9am. Otherwise great!

Really enjoyed the stay in the new destination homestay. Even if it’s quite far away walking to Hoi an by food, the family really tries to make everything possible for you in a really nice way :) The rooms are really nice and everything is new and clean :)

Experience local life - home away from home”

What a fabulous stay! We spent 12 nights here over the Lunar New Year, and it was the perfect location to relax and enjoy local life, while still being within easy reach of approachable tourist spots. The host family are a delight and went to great lengths to make us feel welcome; we ended up as guests at their family new year party, as well as joining them for some meals, on outings to their favourite local spots and even to visit friends. There is always somebody around the house which makes it feel very secure, and they are always keen to help you with breakfast, bicycles or motorbikes all available to rent for good prices. Our room was pretty and clean, with big windows, a small balcony space and a really good shower. Netflix on the tv was great for a quiet night. It felt like a home away from home. The rooms look like the pictures. We had such a wonderful time that we are quite sad to be leaving. We'll definitely be visiting again the next time we are in Vietnam!

A hidden gem away from the crowd”

A heads up ... this place is far from the Center. Accessible by a bridge you can get here by walking or bike but it’s really far by car. The owner arranged for a motorbike pick up when my grab refused to take me all the way. At first I was frustrated that it was inconveniently located but a day or 2 in Hoi An Center, I was so happy to come home to some peace and quiet. The private room I stayed in was great. The owners are fantastic and incredibly kind. Loved the breakfast in the morning. Tuan is a smart and prudent business woman who speaks perfect English and really took care of me! You can message her for anything you need and she is very helpful. Thank you so much!!!

The Best accomodation in Hoi An”

Excelent room with comfy bed, Hot and good pression shower. Breakfast was good. The host was so friendly and helpfull. 10 min by motorbike to the city center. Warm environment. I recommend this place if you want to stay in Hoi An.

Kind family, beautiful area”

Such a kind lovely family. Look after you when you stay. It’s not for people who want to be in the city of Hoi An, it’s on the more southernly island so if you don’t have a bicycle or scooter it’s a long way from the centre. They do rent both bikes though. Relaxing, nice place.

Pros:- friendly staff, nice clean room, bed was comfy, nice bathroom, Netflix on the TV in your room, good working aircon, little balcony, good fast WiFi, pick up service from the bus station for only 50k per person which was cheaper than a grab, bike rental for 120k per day and the staff speak good English and are happy to help and direct if needed. Cons:- atleast 10 minute drive from places to eat and is quite far from everything so you will definitely need a bike but we only used our bike for one day and about 3 hours but we had to pay for 2 whole days which was not great as it wasn't explained when we rented the bike. Everytime  you go out and leave your room they go into your room to check that the aircon is turned off, lights off and TV off which is okay but if they were worried about it being left on they should get an electric key card instead of entering your room when you're out. We had breakfast included but my partner went down at 8.30am and waited down stairs for  30minutes but no one was there to show what was available or even make the breakfast for us, I then messaged the owner through agoda at around 10.30am and she said they were out but could make us breakfast now.. We wasn't told the breakfast time so this wasn't great. We had no toilet paper in our bathroom which has been a first as all the other hotels have toilet roll, and the towels were not very good you could hardly dry yourself. At around 10pm we had a knock at the door and it was the owner asking us to turn our TV down which is okay BUT they have children and we could hear them playing very loudly at about 7am in the morning which wasn't ideal when we were trying to sleep, along with the noise of the workers across the road which was so loud it woke us up at 7am also. Obviously this isn't the hotels fault about the workers and it couldn't be helped. We have stayed in home stays before and know they have families with young children and the noises can't be helped. Kindly and helpful hosts- bright room good occulted if you need - the cooked local meals are tasty and fresh made by the host. The homestay is not in the city center but in a quiet area. Easy to bike along the river and by little bridges to join the old town .
