"Stayed: 2 Night, Sky Terrace Suite Thumbs up: Chris meeting us upon arrival at the lobby & gave us speedy check in. Ensuring us for a room as we were early. Went for lunch & chris met us at the hotel’s restaurant( makan kitchen) personally to pass the room cards to us ensuring everything is all ready. Shanaka: for always checking up on my partner & i. Asking about the quality of the food & remembered that we didnt finished our nasi goreng even asked if there was something wrong. Went the extra miles to find a florist near the hotel that i could arrange for flower delivery for my partner. Beautiful room, nice view. Warm staffs from start to end. Truly a DoubleTree standard. The best DoubleTree in Malaysia. Staffs from JB & KL should learn from Penang as staffs here are way more warmer & friendlier. "

"Had a wonderful stay here in the newest trendy hotel in Penang. First impression was splendid as we were greeted at the lobby and shown the way to the reception on level 11. Why was the reception located at such a high level, you ask? Why, to take our breaths away with the glorious seaview, of course. The pool area was huge and airy, almost wanted to sleep there and forget about the room! But what a room it was! Spacious, elegantly designed with comfort at the top of their priority. Water pressure was great, amenities well provided, perfect room temperature and a wide window to let us further appreciate the beauty of Penang. Staff were so helpful and friendly, always checking in to see that our needs were met, engaging in conversation, made us feel very welcomed! Breakfast spread was excellent, food still hot and freshly prepared despite our lateness in waking. Again, the F&B staff were so attentive and friendly. Couldn't have enjoyed myself more! Highly recommended!"

All rooms are sea view facing Andaman sea. We stayed in 2 Bedroom Pool Suite. The suite is very stylish and colourful with Peranakan Themed decor and very spacious!! This suite consist of: 🏠 Living area 🍽 Dining area with kitchenette 🛌 2 bedrooms - both rooms with King beds❤ 🛀 2 bathrooms with 2 big bath tubs❤ 🏊‍♀ Private plunge pool🥰 facing sea view❤ 🖥 3 big screen TVs - the TV can share mobile screen All areas (living area & both bedrooms) have sliding doors to see the sea view and going to the plunge pool! The door's curtains are automatic open and close!! 😱 Really love all the provided amenities! Bath gel and shampoo with very nice fragrance and they provide bath salt too at bath tub area❤ They have beautiful bathrobes, slippers in room, slippers for the pool/beach and also beach bags for the guests to be use during the stay❤ They have 3 types of swimming pool: 🏊‍♀ Infinity Pool at Level 3 🏊‍♀ Children Pool with waterplay features 🏊‍♀ Normal pool for adults My kids really enjoyed all the pools in this hotel including the private pool at our room🥰 Beautiful seaview scenery as well ❤ There is also kids' play room just near the swimming pool! You can see through the sea view & swimming pool from the large window glass!🥰 Also we love the services during check in & check out in their beautiful lobby! They also served a very delicious welcome drinks during check in & check out: 🍹Nutmeg + Calamansi juice 🍹Pineapple + Calamansi juice 🍪 Traditional biscuit called Telinga Rempah/Telinga Gajah Another good point - the services and hospitalities given by all the staffs were very superb!! Note: Get ready of RM500 for the deposit upon check in and you can use it to pay the food in their restaurant!"

"We checked in around 2.30pm but were made to wait until 3.15pm because our room was not ready yet. We then learned that they actually wanted to give us one of the best rooms for the price we paid, hence the wait. Around 5.30pm, there was a knock on the door and they surprised us with an anniversary cake together with a card signed by the staff. We were humbly surprised and happy at the same time. They took our remark during online booking seriously. They had also gave us a complimentary fruit cake for the delay during check in. What more can we say. We had a pleasant stay at one of the best hotels in Penang. Will we come back again? Of course! Truly some of the best hospitalities we've seen so far. Kudos!! Special shoutout to En. "i really love hardrock hotel in penang. this is the only choice i would ever pick if i go penang have my holiday. the services are great and staff are superb friendly in helping us and serving us while we stayed in the hotel. rooms are clean and looks rocks like a star ! i love the swimming pool and the sea view the most. i feel so relax while lying near the pool. however, i dont realli enjoy the spa service in hardrock. the staff do not have skill in the massage session. "

"St.Giles is tallest hotel in penang, view from our room is KOMTAR Building, and sea. My daughter love to stay in this hotel because they have free popcorn in reception. This hotel is very near to 1st avenue mall, and this mall connected to komtar and prangin mall, just walk turn right. If you turn left, we can get to GAMA supermarket, which have cheaper prices than others and also we can go to new lane food hawkers, macalister road zim sum which sell dim sum, atek durian...etc. Easy check in and check out.
