I am very surprised now to realize that the most memorable part of my Chiangrai trip was the kind and hospitable people there rather than the stunning Doi Tung or the breathtaking White Temple. I took my parents to Chiangrai for a short holiday for 2.5 days during the long weekend just passed. I can't thank the hotel managers enough for their hospitability, thoughtfulness and kindness. They gave me lots of advice on where to visit in Chiangrai, helped me work out our itinerary for two full days' tour and even provided taxi service (with a very reasonable charge of course). They made my holiday such a hassle-free one. The hotel is tucked away from the busy roads, so we got to sleep very well at night. Given the price, the hotel has everything that one would expect in a hotel room, very clean as well. One of the managers speaks Thai, English and German, and some longer-term guests even speak Chinese , which made our communication very easy and pleasant. There's no other place I would rather stay at if I ever travel to Chiangrai again.

staff were very helpful. No hassle check in. We were driven to bus station #2 to get bus tickets then to bus station on departure and shown the correct bus. Snack food available. Highly recommend

Clean Comfortable Quiet”

The staff at Sirin Place are incredible! The rooms are very comfortable, large, and clean. It is located on a quiet street not more than a 15 minute walk from the night Market. We enjoyed the area very much. It was a really lovely walk anywhere we needed to go. I will stay here again the next time I am in Chiang Rai.

The room was on the ground floor and unfortunately very dark due to the exterior awning. The manager was very friendly and professsional.

Fab stay”

I had a fab stay, nice big clean room at a good price. The owner Peter is a very helpful and makes a good breakfast. But far to town if u don't have a scooter, it's a nice place to stay...

A place to stay in Chiangrai”

Located in a a quiet neighbourhood. The rooms are clean but spartan with no telephone. There is no proper kitchen in the "hotel" for a full cooked meal or breakfast if that is what we want. There is no proper reception so the "hotel" will be locked up after 10pm. Guests would just be able to go back to their rooms when they return at night. Not very accessible to get public transport to get around especially at night. One will need to walk quite a distance to the main road. The access roads are quite dark at night. However, it is not a bad place for long term stay when you have your own transport.

Lovely hotel but noisy in the mornings ”

Nice stay but didn't get a very good sleep as the staff are up very early cleaning and there was lots of noise in the corridors. Maybe this was down to us having a ground floor room?

New hotel in a quiet neighborhood”

The owner from Germany is very nice and takes good care of his property, he has no problem pointing out the nice places in Chiang Rai. The rooms are very clean and secure. The coffee shop is a nice touch.

There is no kettle for us to boil water however after knowing we need hot water to make milk for our boys, the owner lent us one. Rather than this we are quite satisfy.

The stay was very nice, we discovered Chiang Rai and the golden triangle with a guided tour. the airport is only a short drive away (ca. 20min) The hotel itself is very new, rooms are big and comfortable, airconditioning is working very good and in every possible variations! I can fully recommend the hotel!

Excellent, fair priced, very helpful owner”

Excellent, we enjoyed the stay in Chiang Rai very much and through the Help of Miss Nok (English, German and Thai speaking) the sightseeing around was very easy. Also to mention is the very close The Legend Hotel which is wonderfull located at the riverside, just 5 Min walk away. There you have Happy Hour from 6-7 pm and a wonderful buffet dinner. Thanks Ms Nok for all !
