Fantastic Hotel, Love it, go back every time!”

We use this hotel when we do motorcycle trips, which we do 3 or 4 times a year. Amazing to get in the chilled pool after a long days riding, full breakast, great coffee. Simple but perfect balance of service and value.

Great value”

We used the hotel for a quick visit up to Mae Sai to renew our visas. It was quiet, clean and relaxing. We will definitely go there again. The breakfast was good, but there were not too many western options.

Lovely hotel, great service great value”

Had a really nice stay here with the Mrs and my two daughters. Room was a good size pool was good and the restaurant excellent with great and friendly service. Is a little out of the way but that suited us nicely. Would happily recommend as was great value for the price we payed through Agoda

Lovely hotel near doi Tung, but noisy from groups”

This is a comfort hotel near Doi Tung Botanical Garden, which contain a relaxing atmosphere.. One negative point is when the time we are stay here, there is a very noisy group of Bangkok bank party.. a lot of noisy and lousy music.. unbelievable, the owner let these big group to destroy a hotel charming itself.. Dont let a big noisy group tour dominate a hotel charming of relaxing atmosphere..

cozy and lovely resort”

it was nice to stay at this hotel. it was lovely and very comfortable. also food was delicious. our family use 2 bedroom. it was not connected but were ok. not far from maessai border. swimming pool was enough for us. resort makes us happy because staffs are so kind.

Brand new hotel with good location”

We stayed there during long weeked in December so the hotel was crowded. However, staffs could provide service effectively. We stayed in Family Room. The room is quite large, clean and well decorated. Breakfast is not variety but still good taste. The price is reasonable.

Worth the money you spend”

You will never feel sorry for the money you spend to stay in this resort. It is good in all aspects as a 4 star resort should be at the price of 3-star. location is very good, only 15 minutes drive to Doi Tung Royal Village, you can enjoy morning fresh air of Doi Tung easily everyday if you stay here. The only minor problem is some area of the site still unber construction but I can tell that this doesn't disturb your stay at this hotel at all.

For 900baht we got a very nice bungalow which ncluded a buffet breakfast and use of the large and clean swimming pool which came in handy since the day was warm. Very refreshing to swim before bed. Excellent value for the money, the location is just out of town off the main road. Staff were all very helpful and the room was very clean and smelled fresh. My wife and I are thinking about staying here for a few weeks later in the summer for a change!

We booked the deluxe room with balcony but we got the last room at the end of the floor without balcony. the decoration inside the room is far from the picture. The food on breakfast is not enough for gueston theday we stayed.

Great place”

I stayed in the same night with Chinese group tour arrived but not noisy. Staffs were friendly and good service. Room was clean and comfortable, very relax to stay. Not to far from Doi Tung and Mae Sai.

Nice pool, quiet hotel”

The food is not good and there isn't much around the hotel to do. It is half way between Chiang Rai and Mae Sai. The location is ok if you have a car. The pool is large and clean. The rooms have nice balconies.

Nice Hotel. A little far from town”

The stand out thing with this hotel is the food at the Restaurant. It is traditional Thai and if you ask for spicy it is very very spicy. Prices are reasonable for a 4 star Hotel. Rooms are nice with nice gardens and lawns. Only one complaint. The hotel is 20km from the center of town (where the border crossing is and all the good markets)

Average hotel, convenient location”

Please ignore the ridiculous 8 or 9 ratings for this hotel. It is a solid 6 and no more. That said, it's an ok place and enough quality for the price paid and convenience for Doi Tung. Good things : 1) location 2) staff and service 3) swimming pool 4) nice surroundings and atmosphere Shortcomings : 1) no baths , only showers 2) in adjoining bungalows the noise travels clear as day between the bathrooms ! 3) TV channels patchy for even Thai TV 4) breakfast is very poor in my opinion, especially from a Western perspective 5) restaurant food is only average ( both Thai & foreign)

Peachful Hotel”

I like this hotel because it's peachful, nice and clean. One thing I don't like, which is toliet because no shower room that seperate from the toliet. Also deluxe room suppose to have bath, this hotel has no bath, very disappointed.

Relaxing.”

It's a good place to stay and a nice facility. If you don't have a vehicle it would be difficult to get around. The food is pricy, but there is local food within a couple minutes drive. The foreign food at the hotel wasn't very good and overpriced. My family really enjoyed it and it's just twenty minutes from a really pretty garden. The pool is also nice.

Reasonable Accommodation At Affordable Price”

The hotel is a stopover resort for those visiting Mae Sai or on to Myanmar. It is perfectly satisfactory with the exception of wifi which simply doesn't work outside of the reception area. Additionally, the attempt at a western style breakfast is alas a failure apart from the eggs !

Okay Resort Hotel a ways out of town”

This "resort" is basically a glorified hotel since other than the pool there really isn't anything else to do there. But that was okay, we weren't there to hang around the hotel. It's a bit of a hike to get into Mae Sai from here, so better have your own transport. The food quality was good although a bit pricey. We had individual bungalows which were nice, as it was quiet. That is, until the staff started gardening early in the morning and yelling at each other. Might be a good idea for them to inform the staff that people at the hotel tend to sleep in past 6 AM so be quiet!

Nice place, near Doi Tung”

We were going to visit the Mae Fah Luang garden at Doi Tung. Poonyamantra Resort is conveniently located near Doi Tung, it is reasonably priced and a new, stylish hotel. It was our second time to stay there and we were very satisfied.

Separate Cottages in a quiet garden setting ”

Stayed for two nights while touring around the Golden Triangle. The hotel is at the foot of the mountains near Doi Tung Royal Gardens and Palace. We did a day trip to Doi Tung and went to the tea plantation town of Mae Salong another day. Has an outdoor dining area with a swimming pool setting and mountain backdrop. Would bea bit isolated if you dont have transport.

All staff are gentle and very helpful.”

Fortunately i called them before checking in, they informed the hotel was under construction on the 1st floor, because of the sudden flood last 2 weeks. And they had informed Agoda to close all online booking until they would be ready.But the upgraded our room. Very Kind.
