Hotellet ligger ca 15 min kjøring fra Chiang-Rai by tett på Rismarken, nydelige omgivelser, flott bassengområde, rent, hyggelig personale, mat ok. Dette er perfekt for de som ønsker fred og ro og idylliske omivelser. Bodde i deluxe hytte med flott rom, stor seng og badekar, manglet ikke noe bortsett fra wifi men fikk tilgang etter hvert.

Lovely setting, quiet retreat”

I was really impressed by Golden Pine Resort and Spa. Check in was a delight, the staff member on duty was friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and set over the water so very relaxing, meals in restaurant were good and the choice of drinks adequate, Unfortunately it was very quiet while I was there, I think it would be better during a busier time. I would definitely consider it again for a special occasion.

Tropical Style Natural”

There are tropical and beautiful resort, but far from the city town of chiang mai within 30 mins by taxi.Well, there are no worry with transport as reosort provide and helping to get a taxi pick up too. Resort was close to the Long Neck Village and just behind the resort. Beside, the resort also near to Tea Plantation by taxi or plan a tour with the resort , visit toward north of chiang RAI such as Golden Triangle, Mekong river to loas .

Relaxing stay”

Fourth time time here. We usually stay 5 to 7 nights or more. Pricing is usually extremely good with all the inclusions. The resort is starting to show it's age though but that is no let down. I can remember when they started to build it.. the rooms are fantastic and so is the pool. Location is a bit out of town but the turn is slowly creeping North with the new super Highway not far away. 5mins + to the airport

This place exists for tour buses”

Disappointingly overpriced for the room quality and caters for big tour buses. The hotel was empty, bar the room next to us, which was nice, that is until around 8pm when the buses roll in and so do the loud guests. The exodus begins around 6am, so don't expect a nice night sleep! The room had something living in the wall, possibly a rat. When I notified the front office staff, the response was "Yes, we have many rats in the walls." - not exactly reassuring of quality or cleanliness. The staff are friendly and helpful, but management certainly need training in handling customer complaints. Food is quality is mediocre, but this might be down to catering to one nationalities food tastes. The Thai food we ate was not good and they had used extremely cheap or very old rice. It's clear this hotel has become reliant on the tour bus throughput and certainly not worth booking, even if it's the cheaper option. Avoid.

Without a car this resort is a little outside town and its restaurants. Not much choice for food other than to eat at the resort. Pool was wonderful. Staff and room was excellent. Good value for money.

Great value for money friendly helpful staff ”

Glad we booked this place very peaceful for us don't know if it was because of the time of year but suited us. Very friendly helpful staff and a warm welcome what ever time of day. The rooms are very good with everything you could possibly need, and a very good sized pool. Around about a 15 min drive into Chaing Rai with a fantastic night market. I would recommend this resort and spa to all.

Perfect, peaceful getaway for our family”

We live in Chiang Rai, but wanted to have a mini-vacation nearby, and the Golden Pine Resort was perfect. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, the pool was quite nice, and overall the staff were helpful and the atmosphere was peaceful. My only complaint (and this is a personal pet peeve) was the gecko poop in the bathroom.

Great resort for the money, Amazing pool!”

Just as we pulled in the resort we knew it was well more than what it was worth, it looks like a 5 star resort with gardens, ponds and an amazing pool. The cottages are great with a view on a lake behind. The staff was nice and spoke good English. Definitely recommended.

A Quiet and Relaxing Get-Away”

We truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is just as the pictures show, the staff was very kind, the rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. It's quiet and tucked away so if you're looking to relax a bit-it's a great option. You're outside the city center, but still a good location for sightseeing as it's just in between Doi Tung, Doi Maeasalong, and the city. The only negative is that I felt the food was overpriced. It wasn't bad, but not amazing.

Peaceful and quiet”

The beautiful and peaceful resort with good room is located pretty far from Chiangrai city, so it might be easier to rent motorbike if you want to go somewhere. The food at the resort is a little too expensive. You might feel that the staff are really helpful when you are there; they would try hard to please you, but in the mean time you might feel totally opposite as soon as you check out.

Nicest hotel by far”

The hotel 10 mins outside Chiang Rai no problem as we had a hire car but could be problem if you don't.I seen buggies at the entrance but never asked if they were going into town.The staff very frendly and helpful the room were excellent clean cosy and spacious.We had 2 teenager chidren and they like the place which is saying something for a peacefull retreat like this,

Quiet and natural”

The hotel is good, a bit older than we thought but the room was far more than adequate - big, clean with a big bath tub. There are so many trees and it felt really calm inside the hotel. We stayed in a cottage which we thought was reasonably priced.

Good Services and beautiful scenery”

the hotel is not far from the airport and the city. we can rent the hotel van to go anywher we want. the van schedule to the city deturetur from the hotel 6 pm and pick up time at 9: pm at the night market. the hotel is beautiful with farming and paddy field.

Peaceful resort right next to rice farm”

The resort entrance and lobby area was very spacious and impressive as well as the beautiful swimming pool area. The resort was very well kept up and clean. Room was maybe a little small and not as impressive but right outside a very serene view of a farm with mountains in the background was a plus for me.

Quiet and peaceful”

If you are into the nature thing and perfer hiking and site seeing verses hangin out at the beach, Chiang Rai is for you. Not too much traffic, the people are more laid back than in the beach destinations. Even downtown, the traffic isn't that bad, there are plenty of cafe's on the river that runs thru town to give you a different choice of food, no complaints...

Our stay in early December to Golden Pine was very enjoyable. Very few other tourists were there, which made for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The rooms are modern with a traditional twist, with an excellent bath-tub overlooking the paddy fields and a lovely water feature. Didn't realise the resort was so far from the town centre (we took a tuk tuk from the bus station which is not advisable) but this was ok as we only stayed 2-3 nights. Anymore and I think we would want to eat somewhere other than the restaurant which had a limited menu, but the food was of a good standard.
