location is a bit far out from main street so it would be convenient for those who have cars, overall the room is clean but only one thing is the shower, when it comes to hot water, it wan't so strong,,,water stream was kinda weak. apart from that it's all great

Extremely Hot! ”

The air conditioner is down, it will turn off itself , you have to wake up at turn it on every hour! The building is made of Bambu and wood, the sun will heat up the whole room ! You can’t even sleep well! Terrible experience! I have been to many places with countless stay in different hotels, this home stay surely not a good choice ! I booked for 3 nights, but I can’t bear it over 1 night, so I changed my hotel immediately, for a better experience for the rest of my journey . The ventilation system is bad, no fan in the toilet, it will keep wet for at least 3hours after you have a shower, only one fan in the room, but the door is made of glass, it makes the room become a green house, so you can image how hot it would be, especially in Chiang Rai , a place with 40degree Celsius ! Worst place ever! The hairdryer is broken, it can’t be use, if not you will get electricity shocked! Terrible place, please don’t stay here, if you are looking for a place to live.

What a great room!”

Beautiful hotel with wonderful views! We stayed in the loft room with the private balcony... what a great room! Beautiful view off the balcony and we enjoyed the beautiful view each morning. The bed is large and very comfortable. The room itself is huge with a impressive wood floor and authentic furnishings. The bathroom is a dream with a great hot shower. The grounds of the hotel itself are very nice and it was a pleasure to just stroll around. Loved the huge table in the restaurant area and the food was very good. The owner are wonderful and Mark arranged a jungle trek for us which we enjoyed very much. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

Full of natural”

Fantastic location right away from Chiang Mai / Chiang Rai city. Made me feel so welcome and it was like staying at a friend's place when we having breakfast with Marc and Ya. The view looked amazing and we were very happy to be there. Previously, there was only 1 tree and Marc built the whole garden and rooms. If you want to be a real countryside, there would be a perfect choice. Only 1 km to the black house and you may enjoy a wonderful bicycle experience to get there. ( Gentle reminder : You would better get to the hotel in the day time. and let the drier of tuk-tuk / songthaew find the location easier )

Fantastic stay”

We loved our stay with Ya and Mark, who were wonderful hosts and really went out of their way to accommodate my currently complicated dietary requirements. A remote and beautiful place for relaxing, with a lot of attention to detail in the rooms and garden, great coffee, great food and interesting conversations.

Tranquil location, peace of mind, lovely hosts”

I wished we would have stayed longer. The GH is tucked away at the end of a street, overlooking rice paddies and a bucolic landscape about 15km out of Chiang Rai. The hosts were lovely and welcoming, serving very good homemade food.

A step from town into serene place”

Really enjoy staying at Bambuh Boutique Homestay. A land is overlooking to rice field. We view sunset at sala. This place is close to town, we can get in and out to town or to airport easily. Good location. Owner is friendly and share good information of the city, recommend good restaurants. If you are light sleeper, please ask owner which room is suitable for you. There are several room types. I would go back and stay more nights.

Beautiful property north of the city center. Great location if you don't want to be in the middle of the city, and want access to nature. We spent the day biking through rice fields (on the free bikes from the hotel) and hiking to a nearby waterfall. The rooms are clean and modern, with comfortable beds. The property is gorgeous and has a perfect spot to watch the sunset. It is run by an absolutely lovely couple who was a joy to chat with and cooked us a delicious traditional Thai dinner with ingredients bought that day at the local market. I would definitely recommend staying here!

very small, but very nice hotel. big rooms. good breakfast (additional costs, but not expensive), very very quiet, with GPS no problem to find, in the countryside to relax, owner can cook also for you in the evening delicious meals, extremly friendly and helpful to find point of interests

Best boutique homestay in Chiangrai”

We had a good time at Bambuh. The place is very beautiful, nice decorations, impeccable clean, great bed, love every part of this place. The hosts were very nice, gave us a lot of recommendations of the sightseeing places.

Nice stay in trangrile small boutique home stay ”

I stayed only one night. Location is a bit deep and far but finally I can find 😅 Room is clean, nice view, quiet and cozy. Staff is nice. The owner came to Takecare of our breakfast even it was so late cos we woke up late morning. Coffee here is dilicious as recommend! I will stay here again if I go to Chiangrai ! Value for money !

Awesome ”

The property is just as we had expected. My wife and I are both from the hospitality industry and found the owner to have done what the industry is missing- spacious rooms, great service, beautifully done grounds, local travel tips and experiences, etc. would highly recommend anyone to check out this little hidden gem in Chiang rai. Good that it is hidden- when you look out from the rooms you see nothing but what you went to Chiang rai for. Will be back.

Third time and still sublime”

Quiet and out of town, set in a lovely garden. Amazing old wooden house (we stayed in loft room). Proper chilled. Nice sunsets. No breakfast (available upon request) but that’s fine for us cos we’re lazy and there’s some great spots around town.

Peaceful stay”

Wonderful staff, comfortable room, quiet and peaceful. I will say that I wish we'd opted for the rooms away from the eating area because we were pretty much a part of each families conversation due to our proximity.

Don't miss the real oasis in Chiang Rai”

Bambuh is located in a quiet village. We are so surprise to see the balance between stylish and natural design all around the properties. The room is very clean and many beautiful decorations. You can see the large green garden in front of the room, you can hear many birds singing around you. The owners are very nice and helpful, they can provide any tour arrangement what you like, as they say "just ask". We strongly recommend Bambuh if you looking for a real relaxing vocation in Chiang Rai.

A cozy yet homely property”

It's located in a quite village near to Baandam museum. The property is designed beautifully & blended well within a lush green garden which in fact you will be waken up by birds chirping sound. Despite it's not near town but commute to the town is still very easy by taxi, and you could cycle to Baandam museum. There are few good restaurants near to Baandam museum too. Nevertheless the owner Ya cooks well, so practically you could unwind and relax in the property ... and spend some time chatting with Mark & Ya how they started building the place! Thanks to their hospitality!

Lovely place.. peaceful, beautiful, very creative boutique accommodations. . Hostess is very accommodating and pleasant.. works hard to please her guests. Taxis have some difficult finding so have the Bambuh phone no handy.

Very good place to get away from the chaos city and relaxing here. The owner are very nice and friendly. The place is very nice, comfortable bed and well decorated, surroundings by nature. I woke up hearing the sound of birds and I can see the rice field from my window. That’s very good feeling.

Beautiful Boutique Homestay Amidst Lush Nature”

Well designed and spacious rooms facing lush nature located in between pineapple fields. We were pleasently surprised to find out all the interesting sights to visit around this location. You can use their bicycles to explore or simply walk to the different locations. Their rooms are extremely comfortable. The beds are firm and the furniture is tastefully designed. We left this place feeling refreshed and inspired by not only nature but by the hospitality of Mark and Yar and the creation of their Homestay We hope to return réal soon !
